One side note:
Torterra should have had (if going by their personality in the anime): Trailblaze, Headlong Rush, Stone edge (can stay to honor Paul's), Stealth Rock

torterra should still have rock climb. the entire point of that was to help torterra out in its new body, there's a reason it never forgot the attack.

Fantastic lineup! I can definitely see why you chose these Pokémon. I love what you’ve done with the movesets too!
If I were to choose my Ash team, and I know I commented an optional team on one of your recent polls, I think I’ll switch mine up a little bit here. It’s tough to narrow that selective few down to a team of 6, and to pick which 3 are on standing by for battle to rotate with.
But the ones I have in mind at the moment are: Infernape and Rowlett (which I plan to evolve into Decidueye) for the 2 starters, Gible, which I’ll evolve into Garchomp as the Pseudo-Legendary, either Swellow or Staraptor for the flying type (Haven’t decided which to pick. I like both), Gengar, and Lucario.
-Rotation Pokémon will be Buizel (which I would aim to evolve into Floatzel), Dragonite, and either Lycanroc, or Larvitar which could evolve into Tyranitar.
-Infernape is a must for me! I’ve always had a soft spot for monkeys, cause of how adorably playful they are! I already loved Chimchar even before I saw the anime. The anime increased my love for the Chimchar lineup even more, and it was the perfect partner for Ash to highlight how far he’s come as a trainer, and to show how he inspires and brings out the best in them.
-Infernape’s moveset, I would alternate between the movesets of A: Fire Punch, Agility, Thunder Punch, and Power Up Punch, and B: Sunny Day, Solar Beam, Flamethrower, and Aura Sphere. I could also replace either Agility, Flamethrower, or Aura Sphere with Blast Burn 💥🔥 The first moveset is actually partly inspired by Paul’s Ninjask.
-Rowlett’s personality is great enough. Its laidback personality is almost infectious. But I also love the effort it shows supporting Ash and battling alongside him. I’d definitely want to evolve it into Decidueye too. I’ve always loved Decidueye, and wanted to have one ever since playing as Decidueye in Pokken Tournament 🏟️ Loved its moveset, design, the Z-Move as it’s finishing move, etc. It’s design and personality even reminds me of some of my own birds 🦜
As Decidueye, it’s moveset I can being Spirit Shackle for STAB along with the Sinister Arrow Raid Z move that comes with it, Leaf Blade for STAB, Swords Dance for Attack boosts, Shadow Sneak for STAB and first attacks, but I’d also consider switching it with Baton Pass on occasion for battles, and along with Leaf Blade for Solar Blade.
-Staraptor and/or Swellow are definitely musts as well! Every team needs an iconic flying type. And like Decidueye, they also remind me of my own birds to a certain degree.
-I can picture either of them with the same moveset or Retaliate for STAB and extra damage from a fainted Pokémon, Acrobatics for STAB and quadruple damage, Double Edge for STAB, and Roost to recover health.
-Gible of course for its affectionately chompy personality. I also love how Gible shared this with Goh 😂 I still think it should’ve at least evolved into Gabite during the battle with Conway 👓 maybe after it defeated Shuckle or as it was struggling with Dusknoir. It would’ve been the perfect cherry on top to mastering Draco Meteor ☄️ It could still easily have the nibbly personality too. If it eventually evolved even further into Garchomp, it definitely would’ve become one of Ash’s aces, and I’d argue he might be able to take down half of Tobias’ team.
My choice of moveset for Gible, especially for when it evolves into Garchomp, would be Iron Tail for Ice and Fairy type coverage, Dragon Claw and Outrage for STAB, and either Stomping Tantrum or High Horsepower for STAB. But if I used Mega Evolution for Garchomp, I would teach it Sandstorm to trigger its Sand Force ability to boost its Steel and Ground types.
-Gengar’s playful personality, despite its scary appearance was always something I loved, and it’s a Pokémon I need to properly use long term one of these days. Even as early as Lavender Town, I knew it was just meant for Ash.
I would give it the moveset of Toxic Spikes an an entry hazard, Hex for STAB and double damage against status, Shadow Ball for STAB, and Dazzling Gleam for dark type coverage. If I wanted to switch Toxic Spikes and Hex, I’d replace them with Sludge Bomb for STAB, and Destiny Bond to take opponents out with Gengar if it faints.
-Lucario is definitely a must for me. Incredible power, good speed, all around great offensive fighter. Plus, he’s a good doggo 🐕 I actually named my most recent Lucario in XY after two of my dogs who recently passed away.
I would make Lucario’s moveset: Aura Sphere (naturally for Lucario) for STAB and sure hits, Flash Cannon for STAB, and Water Pulse for coverage against Fire and Ground, Lucario’s two main type weaknesses, and Psychic for Fighting coverage.
-Buizel would definitely be my choice for a water type Pokémon on rotation! Fierce battler in both the speed and power department, and great for unorthodox strategies too! Also, personally, I always loved its cute orange otter look. It’s actually kind of tempting to not evolve it into Floatzel 😅
I’d make its moveset Aqua Tail to replace Water Pulse, keep Aqua Jet and Ice Punch, and teach it Dig for Electric type coverage. Or maybe instead of Aqua Jet, I could teach it Rain Dance to boost its speed.
-Dragonite is definitely my second choice when it comes to both flying and dragon types! Great endurance and special power. Plus, we could all use a hug from Dragonite 🤗🐉
Her moveset would include Hurricane, Dragonite Meteor (Don’t judge me, Paul 😂), Aqua Tail for Rock type coverage, and Dragon Claw for STAB.
-I also had to include Larvitar as an option. It might’ve never been official, as it never had its own Pokeball, but I don’t recall Misty’s Togepi having one either. Larvitar can definitely be considered Ash’s though. I’d also evolve it into Tyranitar. It’s a shame they never reunited.
I’d see it’s moveset being Stone Edge and Crunch for STAB, Thunder Punch for Water type coverage, and Stomping Tantrum for Steel type coverage.
If I chose Lycanroc instead of Larvitar, its moveset would probably mostly be the same as in the anime.
Great video, as always! Great lineup of Pokemon, too. Here would be my PERFECT Ash Ketchum Team ( to me, at least ):
1. Bayleef ( I'd evolve it fully into Meganium )
2. Dragonite ( Love her personality, I'd want a hug from this dragon always )
3. Snivy ( I would fully her into Serperior )
4. Lycanroc
5. Lucario
6. Lapras
Pokemon I'd have in rotation:
Pikachu
Sceptile
Torterra
Goodra
Charizard
Tauros
Gible

I'd go with sceptile, lucario, gengar, charizard, krookodile, lycanroc and then for rotation I'd say dragonite, naganadel and melmetal.
If I was allowed 3 starters I'd have totodile evolve into feraligatr

My Main Team: Meganuum, Lycanroc, Incineroar, Hawlucha, Gengar, Dracovish.
Back Team: Serperior, Sirfectch'd, Noivern, and Gigalith.

Thanks, I wanted to use something other than the overrated team members. And a lot of their personalities would make for interesting interactions. For example, Bayleaf and Snivy love Pokemon, but the way they go differs. One side is more open, but the other is more closed until the moment is right.
Plus, I wanted a duo to be included. For example, I didn't want to take Hawlucha without bringing Noivern.

Here is my perfect Ash ketchup team:
1.Raichu(after 26 years of being a pikachu I think it should evolve to a raichu+ we cannot seperate the og combo that started this journey )
2.Charizard(It's charizard you can't avoid it)
3.Garchomp( the gible need to evolve. I mean ash missed an oppurtunity of have a dragon dancing sweeper in the team)
4.Gengar(In the last season gengar showed its power and I am sure it should have a place in this team)
5.Greninga( Battle bond nothing more than that)
6.Lucario(lucario is compulsory with its mega evolution it is best steel type and second best fighing type ash has)
So this is my take on Ash's best team .

The title is literally called "MY" perfect Ash Ketchum team. I clearly stated it is not meant to be the perfect team battle wise. and depending on the opponent this team could be outstanding since these are all strong pokemon

He clearly says in the beginning, that he's making a team of 6 with 3 rotations from Ash's Pokemon. Based on if he were Ash.
