Today we go over what would the Anime be like if we took the game Protagonists and put them in there with Ash!

I completely agree with adding Green to the canon, since Gary wasn't around all too much in the original series to begin with. She could add some needed comedic relief, tension and friendliness if she's used accordingly. If I personally needed to make her team, I'd keep it mostly the same as her LGPE counterpart, but swap out Victreebel for Vileplume and maybe give her a Nidoqueen.
And an eevee or Clefairy(probably Clefairy as that was supposed to be the mascot before they realized that pikachu was the better option
I can think of something to do with Selene and Gloria; Selene could have a role as the medic of the team going off her role as a pharmacist in the Adventures manga and so she’s more of a background role (maybe some shiptease with Lillie just cuz they’re cute.) and Zactoshi had a fantastic role for Gloria in his Journeys rewrite that would work well and give her more agency than Chloe got
Ironically enough.I found a fan fiction with ash is related to all the Pokémon protagonists.Well, most of them, I think exactly may Serena max.

Since hash is a protagonist to the anime, they think that having his siblings be. The other protagonist is fun, so someone made a theory on it and a video. And a fan fiction was born
Brendan implementing contests into his way of battling could be a neat way to tie into how Sinnoh Ash, thanks to his time with May, was more open to adopting tricks Dawn came up with, such as the spin dodge and Counter Shield. 😁

And that would be a great way to tie in the Team Plasma plot that was dropped due to the earthquakes in Japan.
Ash could encounter N throughout Unova and try to convince him that separating people and Pokémon won’t help anyone (except Ghetsis). Losing to N in the League would serve as great tension and push Ash to find a way to overcome N and whatever Legendary Dragon he has.
@@alphabladelm2011 @Doliwhop, Actually I have a better idea because I feel that having N constantly beating Ash would've feel like Alain And Trip all over again so why not end in a draw rather than just a another predictable League Loss and both will settle it at the castle instead? Of course, I I have another idea as well if you're interested.
Ash didn’t get swampert in the anime. Brock did. Ash got Sceptile.
Someone didn't do their research, huh. Also, why do they only have Six Pokémon? The Anime makes everyone have more than Six, with a few exceptions.
Brock actually didn't evolve Marshtomp.

N was in the anime, but he was based on his BW2 characterization primarily. If they could’ve focused on BW1, N might have been as great as an antagonist to ash as Paul was.

@@PK_HH I actually have a different idea with that, and it involves team plasma sabatoging ash's match, so N could win. Due to team plasma being aware that Ash is the biggest threat to their plans and the only person who could possibly defeat their king

As for Unova, I always imagined Hilda battling Ash in the League and Nate being the upcoming star in Pokémon battling.
Always saw Alain and XY Ash as Calem analogs (with Alain being part Dexio due to Sycamore and Ash being part Red).
The only thing Ash needed from Selene in Alola was her Litten shoes instead of the clown looking Popplip boots!😅
Love the Hilda and Nate idea! Honestly, I should have used Hilda, with how much the fandom loves her, but my mind was thinking of White from the Manga at the time XD

Edit: also maybe anime leaf(I'll just say that) could also be a stand-in for selene(although I wouldn't be against selene being in the anime)
If Silver makes appearance in the Pokemon anime, I'd say the Rocket Trio will steal his Pokemon but when Giovanni discovers that Jessie and James are stealing Pokemon from his own son, Giovanni will try to call them or Giovanni will send his Rocket underlings to keep an eye on Silver.
*I’d like throw my two cents in and propose a “continuation” Ash’s Journey post Leon fight where he travels and mentors Max (possibly Bonny too) when they start their own journey*

I love how you gave some protags more prominant roles. But i think my favorite was silver because it can help make johto change from filler land to a slowly building story that could culminate with giovonni fighting ash potentially. I do agree that adding rivals to series past gen 5 would be hard cause either they dont fit or there is no point to them. I guess the question now is whats next for this rewrite? Giving evil teams leaders new teams? I mean that could work especially since silver and the team rocket take over plot could happen johto. Also it could give you the chance to fix the black and white anime with a new team plasma plot. Either way i cant wait to see what you pull off next.

Anyway these teams are really nice and I do like the reasoning behind a lot of the choices and how they sorta tie into the manga.

I'd have loved for Green to be in the story as I really liked her personality in Let's Go, and in Evolution.
In the event you do a follow-up video, I'd love to see you tackle Wally. My main reason is that he was done *dirty* in the Pokémon Special manga.
For Pokémon, I would give him a shiny Gardevoir/Gallade as a reference to the non-canon event where he catches a shiny Ralts in the game. Alternatively, I'd give him an Iron Valliant if we're following the pattern of him not keeping the Ralts family. And his second Pokémon would be a region variant of Sceptile.
A story involving Silver working to defeat Team Rocket once and for all would be amazing. After the original anime concluded, Team Rocket was still out there stealing Pokémon and doing god knows what.
Having someone actively fighting them would make for some great action and drama. Plus, the personalities of Ash and Silver would be a great source of conflict such as if Silver were to brutalize the Team Rocket trio and Ash would try to protect them. Both sides could make great points and show a clash of philosophies that could spur character development for the trainers.
And a true battle against Giovanni would have so much potential to be awesome.
Sorry for gushing but I feel like that was a major missed opportunity for the anime before it concluded.
Tl;dr: Silver would be an amazing protagonist with a badass story.
Diamond is my favorite Adventures character so i thank you for giving my boy the respect he deserves!
Something cool to do could be doing an anime arc for Orre from Pokémon Colosseum and XD Gale of Darkness! It would be fun to see how you'd handle that

Honestly I think you should replace hilvert with rosa to promote black 2 white 2 and give her a serperior.
Since this is all retrospect with all the hindsight in the universe, one can easily plop Silver in as late as DP or Unova. Maybe have him be someone who's disgusted with Team Rocket and stands in the way of or mocks the TRio. TR has been a part of the anime forever, the boss' son basically had a bajillion opportunities to get in.
The mentioned Brendan role is what I'd picture with Wally.
I would like to see Silver playing a major role in first half of the Black and White Pokemon anime series. Why? It is because his dad, Giovanni, is going to Unova to get the Meteonite. He would be Ash's travelling companion when they go to Unova and will be meeting Iris.
Yeah, Unova IS when they tried (and failed) to make Team Rocket serious, so what better time to bring in Silver if you're never going to touch him anyways?

I think Nate could work as an assistent to Looker and Calem can work as Serena's Cousin/Brother that was inspired by Grace and became a rhyhorn racer

If Silver was in the Pokemon anime, I believe Giovanni's chadacter is going to be fleshed out more. Second, I want to see Jessie, James and Meowth interacting with Silver and discovering that their boss has a son in which they were never aware of.
Jessie: Wait! Our boss has a son!
James: If our boss has a son, then who is the mother.
Why did you only give everyone 6 Pokémon? In the Anime, almost everyone of importance had more than six, with some exceptions, because Pokémon actually needed actual rest in between battles so it was encouraged to keep catching more!
