my name is james i have a xtool d1 pro 20 ,a xtool d1 10 a monport 40 Im retired and do this as a hobby. I followed your instructions to download art library I organized like you told me put the files in art opened lightburn clicked on load went to the art file it said there is nothing in the file i get out of lightburn go to files open art it has 20 files in it what am i doing wrong

Looks like Atezr just dropped a new 35 watt unit. Maybe that's why the P20 is on backorder. I wonder who will be next with a 35 or 40 watt unit
I'm a newbie looking to get into this game. The Louisiana Hobby Guy comes across as a very upstanding and respected guy in this space. As I reviewed all the comments, I noticed he did not reply to any of them. Then I noticed, this video was posted by Atezr. I wonder if the The Louisiana Hobby Guy even see the comments. I continue with reading all comments, make note of the ones Atezr replied to and the ones they did not reply. Complains they commented on and ignored.
I was also wondering if I have a project larger than the work area is there a way to extend the work area? There was not comments addressing that concern.
I wish I could say I feel comfortable with pulling the trigger on my 1st laser engraver, but I cannot. The Louisiana Hobby Guy did a great job on his video.
If you want to extend the working area, you can purchase the extension kit accessory separately.😃

Louisiana guy please help I just purchased the P 20+ after having way too many frustrations with the other laser competitor like you’ve been talking about I did raster Test followed your directions with the settings works wonderful running the restare test but when I go to do an image it is not running at incorrect speeds even though I double checked the machine settings they were at 24,000 and a 3 x 3 image is taking over 30 minutes. It seems to be hiccuping in between moves. I’m at a loss I’ve been using lightburn for over a year and I’m not getting anywhere. I’m stuck.
I saw another RUclipsr having a similiar issue. Hs laptop was old and couldnt keep up. He downloaded via a a SD card I believe and it fixed corrected the issue.

Hey Rich.....EXCELLENT video. I bought one of these based on your recommendation. I did hit up the Memebers Only Downloads and did not find the settings etc. talked about at 43:55 in this video. Maybe I'm not seeing them....not sure why. Please let me know when they are available. I'm right now designing and making a cabinet for it that will allow excellent fume extraction and diode laser light protection. Thanks again Rich and be well sir!!

If I never plan to cut anything thicker than 1/2", and may want to engrave slate or glass, is there any benefit to the 36W L2? (Speed, quality, etc?)
I bought the P20 because you recommended it. My first Laser. I like it a lot. Having some issues centering on things to engrave. That is my biggest issues. Also having some issues when starting projects. I with get everything where I think it should be and then frame it and it goes some place not even close and frames. I am sure this is user error since I am new. Any help you could provide would be awesone. I cannot seem to find any really good tutorials on this laser. Love your videos. Been working my way through the Lightburn series. Thanks!!

I couldn’t resist, I know you’re doing the 20W face off late January but this unit seems to have the latest of everything and I see Atzer is the company coming out with the 36W unit as well. Their bundle price is too good to pass up. Returning my DeWalle air assist and Ortur LU-10 and applying the refund to their bundle. I’ll put my Ortur LM2 Pro back to stock and sell it.

I've been using my P20 based on your recommendation for over a year now. I love the machine. Some minor issues I had was the fan on the laser head went out, but Atezr finally sent me a new motherboard and fan. I changed to the Hemsley lower lense and it runs like a champ. Only thing I've not had any luck with is clear acrylic. I highly recommend the P20. Next step is to add the extension rails, which I've not done yet and try the rotary.
