A little about me:

I'm really digging the harmonic major sound. It's like ultra phrygian without having to modulate or really anything. 1 note moved a literal half step down and its a completely different sound thats so cool. That's why I love modes so much

4 major to 4 minor resolving to 1 is a common motif used in a lot of great songs. Desperado - eagles, in my life- beatles, thorn tree in the garden - derek and the dominoes, space oddity - bowie, and many others. I look at it as a chromatic walk down from 6 (major 3rd of 4 chord) to b6 (minor third of 4 chord) to 5 (5th of 1 chord). Strange how the minor 4 chord doesn’t really sound out of key (at least to me?) when it is used in this sense

That part about the major harmonic scale over the minor 4 was fascinating. I normally just play chord tones or nail home that flat 6 but dovydas made me look at it in with new eyes

The 2nd best thing I've seen on RUclips (the best was the Tommy Emmanuel interview by Beato, sorry Dovy). Dovydas would clearly be Will Ferrell. It's okay though Sean, it means you have credits in Guardians of the Galaxy, Wreck it Ralph and Boogie Nights, or whatever the equivalent of that is in the youtube guitar universe. Thanks guys!

Hi Sean, needed your guidance. Do you know any trusted music instruments website which ships guitar internationally ? I stay in India and many pro level acoustic guitars. eg: from Yamaha brands are not available. Regarding international purchase, No idea if they add too much custom duty charges making it more expensive. I am very new to this. Not getting any info on this from youtube musicians. Thought to ask you , if you have any idea on guitar purchasing internationally.
