- Our June addition to the fleet is this lovely Porsche 964 c2 manual finished in Guards Red. Raj takes us through what the new car is, the positives, negatives and what the plans are for this air-cooled classic car.

Keep it guards red and add black centred Fuchs. Very impressed with your channel.
I would not change the colour Rag, leave it as it is. The wheels suit it too, so wouldnt change them either. Just fix it all back to standard and use it.

Colour: solid Black
Wheels: step up 18” BBS RS with Bubblelips FULL black (lips colour from car & center flat black & polished bolts)
Performance: faster cams, CAE Shifter, ITB’s & RS motormounts
Suspension: KW V3 or Bilstein B16’s
Amazon Green metallic with Tan interior and Gold centre BBS RS 👌🏻😎

How about frozen berry , cassis red or bahama yellow , go for a colour not seen on a 964 but still with Porsche heritage in mind

Dark purple
I love Rubystone on the 964 because my uncle had one when I was a kid but they also look really nice in ice white.
Rubystone is also another great colour option 👍🏽
IF you decide paint , try wrap first to test the waters maybe inozotec Miami blue or Era Green .

Love the colour, but would definitely need suspension work, ride height slightly lower would look excellent. I am going follow this build every step of the way.
I am not a fan of red for cars, unless its a Ferrari or a Porsche 964. This car looks great in guards red, and you should keep it that colour. On the wheels, push the boat out and go for a set of HRE 527S in a silver finish for a class look. It will be unique and exceptional.

Have a look at Apricot Beige on a 964
Classic Retrofit in East Sussex does a very well regarded electric air-con system for the 964. I just helped a friend fit it to his 964 Tiptronic here in Marbella as the factory a/c that came with the car is rubbish.
Love the red id so some hre 935FMR or HRE 305 Gold or Bronze 18’s , maybe add whale tale

Wheels: Thought of 17" Ruf Speedlines? Worth thinking about especially as I have a set for sale 😉... Remember my Targa?

Clean and vacuum frunk carpet set

They do look good in guards it has to be said but way, way too many of them on the road! Everyone is going for green now (I know it’s not that original) but there are so many stunning shades I’d go for something in the green palette. I’d swap the wheels for genuine Cup1’s as nothing has ever looked better on a 964 imo ….BUT, money no object I’d go 18” Cup 1 style in magnesium the same as Ian Harris’s personal modded 964. Rwb kit paint Renault liquid yellow with matching centres on rwb wheels
Not sure about the RWB kit as we want to keep the car lightweight for fast road use 👍🏽

Those scratches around the door handles drive me crazy, how hard can it be to open and close the doors without destroying the paintwork with a bunch of keys or rings, bangles and whatever on your hands….
I would keep it red.
I say leave the color for now and just sort out the other bits. Guards Red is a classic color and admittedly grew on me when I acquired mine. My original intention was to repaint it to the Viola metallic the same as the 30yr Jubi model. The second option is Gulf Blue.

its your car but I'd leave it as is, just use it as you described you were intending to use it and just enjoy it.
Let it gain a few battle scars along the way and don't be too precious with it 👍👍
That's the plan over the next few months whilst we decide on the best route for mods and upgrades 👍🏽
