That 964 is fantastic... The attention to the smallest details and the fact that it looks OEM until you start looking closer - superb build. I'd love one...
Great to have featured the cars here in the Philippines. The NeoClassic event was amazing and nice builds from the local community. Your always welcome here Dino
Coolest detail is the SWB rearview mirror. So nice. The chromework would be complete if they swapped out the front and rear glass for the older style (with metal trim pieces).
I just love how timeless the Porsche design is. Just add some LED headlights to the car and it looks like new again. This carbon conversion is just crazy and a very nice example of adding new features to an old car without destroying the old look. It just keeps the old character and heritage of the car alive while being modern and fresh. It kinda reminds me of the CSF Porsche in LA or even the Gunther Werks Porsches. There definitely is a lot of cool stuff in Manila! Just a little heads up for the video, it seems like the audio has a bit too much gain so that your voice sometimes sounds a bit distored. Awesome video as always though!
Yes, you said that in the video ;). I meant to say that in a more general matter, like all you have to do is to install some new headlights on an old Porsche and they look like new again, kinda like the Honda NSX. This Porsche is just crazy good and the owner is so humble too @@dino_dc
Dino you continue bringing epic car content thanks for that and that Porsche 964 is definitely sleeper looking but built to perfection 👌 and with all that carbon fiber and the twin turbo engine that Porsche must be insanely fast and it sounds so good and the rest of the vid with that coffee shop and cars just epic and can't wait for the next vid and as always keep up the great work 👍
Some great builds hanging around there. I wouldn't have minded a closer look at the Mini, though! Tuned ones are not to be underestimated. AFAIK the scene for them in Japan is huge as well.
This wais right in front of my university! Karrera's a great place to go to for a coffee after a long and tiring day of classes, especially since there are always cool rides around, even just in the general area. Hope to see you around again soon!
for sure dream spec 964, i'd do steel disks instead tho but in the philipines might be hot enough to get the carbons up to temp during regular driving, great selection there at the end with all those cars that were parked, the silvia had a great looking front bumper don't think i've seen that one before
@@_144hz I had a hunch you were an osu player so I checked your videos and saw tsukinami + the description, something clicked in my head cause i vaguely remembered an achievement comment on the map so I double checked and there u were, insane coincidence lmfao i go to karrera once in a while after class, do u visit too
how epic!!! dude I've seen stuff on this channel that I've either only heard of or had no idea. bro I've got to tell you that there is no one , nobody has been to any of most of these shops. its just mind melting to me as a Porsche guy but a tuner guy too. the Ferrari shop, j-auto these insane Porsche garage just hard as brick!!! outstanding sir, just 100% top notch. im sure you will bring the best but if you do need an idea. there's nobody who wouldn't love anything you come across that was from AMG Japan, if you got contacts to who has them hidden around. also promodet is just legendary and there's never been an English speaking video at their shop. just me being selfish and hope you get around either of those cars. again you don't need help with mega content so keep up the crazy sick content, its some of the best on RUclips without a doubt. cheers
Engine builder - Christian Treiber (ex-RUF engine development) 2000-2010 Build concept and design - Alfredo Roa We can share more information on the build.
I drove 20 years different 964s, don't change the outside if already Cup Mirrors are the package 😂. Even the ligths are okay. My last 964 had a 270PS dyno report on the "wheels". Turbo 3.6 Breaks front and rear. RS ABS. And 1280kg of total weight withought complet remove of the interior parts and additional carbon outside. This car is fast. The problem is the downforce on the tail. It has a stoneage rear axle not like the 993. Tail downforce is the thing. You get a 7:35 on the Nordschleife easily with a good setup.
20 years ago I developed a kit which allows the 3,6 Turbo break kit to fit under 17 Cup 1 wheels. In combination with a modification for the ABS when using green racing pads.
The next best invest is an EMS for the manuel gearbox and a full adjustable Bilstein. I drove my last 964 on 275 Cup1 on the rear, the Cup 1 were tailor fitted.
The next thing is, remove the complete air intake into the 993 setup. No mechanical air flow sensoring, instead programmable and mapping. I also used balanced titanium ventiles on my last car, and also 993 Ventiles plus cases. I removed my right front oil cooling and built a high pressure on low Temperatur "Trockensumpf". How can you do it, insert a second oilpump.
Yo Dino first of all its nice to see you in my home country the Philippines. Have you already seen some owner type jeep in the shows that you have been in the Philippines? If so, what do you think of them? Also, have you already eaten some Filipino food? If so, what do you like? By the way looking forward for more car content regarding Philippine car scene. Nice content as always.
I thought who was it. Though is ma mane Dino DC 😎🏎️. Kana izinkan ea membuka pintu porsche 911. Kana izin kan ea full tour. That means dino dc is so cool
Would’ve been perfect normally aspirated with ITB’s & with that glorious sound from the exhaust to match. Just too quiet & unpractical to have that amount of power in such a light car, unless one lives on bragging rights instead.
That 964 is fantastic... The attention to the smallest details and the fact that it looks OEM until you start looking closer - superb build. I'd love one...
Stoked to see car culture in the Philippines finally being showcased.
Glad you enjoyed your stay!
i wanna see coverage on Owner Type Jeeps (OTJ) with swaps like 3SGTE. Very popular modified car down there
That 964! Such a fantastic build!
Glad you enjoyed your visit to Karrera! The PH has a lot of hidden gems, I'm glad it's being showcased
Great to have featured the cars here in the Philippines. The NeoClassic event was amazing and nice builds from the local community. Your always welcome here Dino
Love how it has vintage details and even no rain gutters etc but its not backdated like most of them are now 👌
Now this is a proper restoration, insane car!
Finally! Some exposure to the Filipino car culture. Hope you'll get back with Larry, soon!
That 964 is SICK!!!

That 964 makes other expensive cars look overdressed. It's such a chill mature flex. What a desirable car. She stole my heart, lol.
Mabuhay, Dino! Enjoy your stay in the 🇵🇭! Hope you enjoyed the food too.😃
what a clean build, just beautiful.
Proud to be a Filipino Car guy
i've been waiting for this manila clog, finally
Awesome old school celicas and escorts. Grew up with those cool rides. Nothing like twin side drafts
What a scene, great group of enthusiasts. Thanks Dino.
I always loved the 964 , but this one is on another level.

Cant wait to see the yellow porsche build Dino.👀👀👀 It's gonna be something special like everything you do.
Hey, welcome to our part of the sticks! Enjoy! 😊

Ayeee, Glad to see you in the PH. Hopefully you stumbled upon the Civic scene here.
Yep sure did! Signed many Civic dashes lol
damn that 964 is cool. like 007 cool!
philippines is something else
Suspension was by Motion Control Suspension, not Moton. AST-Moton's color is orange, not black.
PLEASE give me more details on this 964. Who is the builder?
Engine builder - Christian Treiber (ex-RUF engine development) 2000-2010
Build concept and design - Alfredo Roa
We can share more information on the build.
Scary driving that in the Philippines
Thanks Dino
Wow! Just wow! That is my most favorite Porsche ever!! P.S. There are places like this in Japan! Liberty walk and Initial D cafe mount haruna!
6:49 so real story is a RUF engineer moved to the Philippines and builds restomods?
He mightve gotten flown out

hey love the videos!! What camera do you use?
Air cooled twin turbo ? That is insane

Not one single Jordan sticker in sight ????
Absolutely stunning 964 but the 480HP is totally useless in Manilla traffic all dayy every day unfortunately.

Don't sleep
Purely subjective - But go through all that trouble and then desperately fail on headlights, wheels etc.
What do you mean, buddy?
No fail in my eyes, now you can see where you’re going!
