First vlog from my trip back home to Italy! It’s been 7 years since I’ve been back and there is so much I need to cover over the next few weeks while I’m here. I’m meeting Larry Chen this week too and we’re hitting some of the best names in the Italian car industry, motorsports and culture. Trust me you don’t want to miss what I’ve got coming!

Dino great vid and that Ferrari 275 gtb / 2 is one of my favs to and is giving me serious Le Mans vibes those cars really need to see a race track at least once i love those cars and everything about that car the style , the lines , interior , lights , engine , knockoff wheels i love knockoff wheels specially on those cars everything on that car is perfection 👌 Ferrari and Pininfarina nailed it with that car such a legendary iconic piece if history they dont make them like they did and its a shame and that one was absolutely flawless what a rare treat to see one at all in person and up close and be able to look through must of been amazing and thanks for always sharing and as always keep up the great work 👍

Welcome back to Europe! I can't wait to see what gems are hidden in Italy! All the cars are so clean and well kept in shape, I mean just look at the engine at 11:20. I wish you and your son an awesome time in Italy as it certainly always is a good idea to visit the relatives!

Great video Dino! This one made me feel nostalgic. I was born and raised in Pordenone (not to far from Omega) and had to move to the US as a teen. Havent been back to Italy in 20+ years but hope to do so soon. I'm in the Italian car restoration business so I deal with many of these shops but it's another thing to actually visit them. Ciao

Integrale goodness...my favourite boxy boosted hatch (2nd is 205 T16) got to see them scream past at the 1st Rally Australia Super stage at Curtin University in 1989/1990.. Carlos Sainz crashed/rolled his castrol GT4 celica at the hairpin, it caught fire, co-driver jumped out, extinguished the fire, Sainz fires it back up, and off they went.. bonkers
That MM fiat is soo smooth, just elegant bodywork. 275 is sooo clean, Mk II jag the original gangster mobile, and phatt 308s.. nice work 👏 👌 👍
Will be in Milano mid summer! So this is perfect to kinda see and what to look forward too!

Wow that green Delta seems to be one of the Verde York limited edition, beautiful! The Ferrari 308 won only one rally championship (as far as I know) the Spanish tarmac rally championship driven by Antonio Zanini (1980 ERC champion) is an interesting rally car, but I like the Lancia 037 more😊

I am very glad you’re showing this other side of automotive culture. In a world of R34s and GT3RS’, there’s this side that is dying. Every time I go to a concours or rally, it’s 97% older gentlemen. The only fact I know about the outgoing* Ypsilon (Fiat 500 platform-share aside) is that, just a few years ago, it sold more than Alfa Romeo's _entire range_ across the _entire_ European continent, despite it only being sold in Italy.

Mondial needs a 458 v8 or F12 v12 plus 599 manual transmission, the Coupe version is getting cooler now, in 2008 i head the opportunity to buy a mondial for 18.000 € sadly the bank said no 😅
Hope u guys get to visit Brill steel, after their legendary carbon v8 s15 they havent really had much exposure. But they sure still do very cool projects and a lot of supercar stuff now 👌

Hi Dino: Does Italy have engine size tax on cars? I have seen small Italian cars with 1.1 liter to 1.4 liter 4 cylinder engines. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Yep superbollo added onto anything over 250 hp. €5-6k a year on top of the regular tax is the norm for performance cars. It’s f%#$ed!

Hey Dino! I'm currently studying to become a mechanic and Japan has been my ultimate dream for years now.. Do you think any shops would take in a foreign apprentice as a mechanic?
I would really love to learn the language and culture, but it's really tough to find local shops who might be open to the opportunity 😅
It’s tough, but I have seen foreigners do it at both Spoon & Studie
