You couldn't have picked a better daytime for your video than this! The weather and scenery look absolutely stunning and the traffic shots really add to the feel. Awesome Q&A!
So many people have been influenced by you, Speedhunters, and all your content over the last 15 years! Thanks for everything Dino. Keep up the good work
Dino, Your work at Speedhunters and now this channel have provided many, a window to international cars and creators, which can be limited, living in regional and remote Australia. Your personal style and respect within the industry is evident, and I love the access and interaction you get from large and small workshops alike. Thank you for what you do, I wish you all the success that you desire mate. 👍 PS nice work on the tabs in your phone, during the NordVPN bit!
Though I’m not on Instagram, I can’t think of a single time when I’ve asked a question here in the comments section of your videos that you didn’t take the time to respond with a thoughtful answer. While I wouldn’t expect this to continue as your channel grows in popularity and views, I did want to thank you for this. You and Alec do an excellent job. What I find to be most impressive are the casual car gatherings that take place over there, from the cars & coffee type events to the large turnouts at Daikoku, it is all incredibly fascinating to me as there is such a great variety of classic cars and even bikes that show up. As an old guy myself, I also can’t help but dig all of the shop tours and interviews with the older shop owners who have amassed many decades of knowledge. Looking forward to see where you take things in the future.
You are SO lucky to live there and have learned the language so well. Those of us in our 40s, growing up in our teens-20s, got the BEST of the JDM Golden Era.. ‘90s-mid ‘00s were simply iconic in the car & tuning industry. Some of your footage brings back so many Gran Turismo memories lol I still remember the day I picked my first copy of GT in ‘97 at GameStop 😄 I can’t wait to visit Japan 🇯🇵 one day, they’re such humble, disciplined, organized and dedicated culture in EVERYTHING they do.. truly world model citizens. Domo arigato. 🙇♂️
this is where I get my Japan fix every week I like your mellow to the point style no clickbait no spastic bs I was learning my Japanese car culture with Sammit but he started getting on my nerves with his shananagins keep up the good work will watch every video.....thanks
Hey Dino! We published a lot of your photoshoots when I was editor in chief of Modify (French magazine). It's nice to follow your videos now! Still awesome!
Please visit the Philippines too. Our car culture is also good. I have been to Japan 3 times already but I only visit with my family and do family stuff. Is there a tour for carguys where we can visit car places?
Dino, Ive been following you for last 20 years since High Performance Imports days(good old Ben Ellis and Martin Donnon)..I still vividly remember your articles from the D1 coverages to TAS.. You singlehandedly introduced what JDM was before people knew what it was. Now im in my 40s as a dad, I feel like we been known each other for past 20 years and getting old together. Kudos to you for keeping it real and hope to see you and your contents for the decades to come. Thank you Dino. PS. Do you still represent Pagani in APAC region?
Thanks so much for the long following 🙏🏻 Ben did a great job with HPI, will always be grateful to him for giving me the space on the mag for so many years! Don’t work with Pagani any more but still friendly with them. In fact funny you mention them as I was just… 😉
Love your videos man, they really transport me into Japan! Really want to go one day to see all those clean builds and the old amgs. I subscribed your channel is top tier!!
Thanks Dino, thanks to your articles, photos and videos we can get closer and closer to the JDM culture that seems so far away for the rest of us. Keep up the good work ❤
Race track websites in the are that you are visiting normally have their calendars online. I was lucky to drop in a couple smaller events and everyone there was so nice and really enjoyed the fact that we were taking interest in their vehicles.
4:39 Thanks for answering! My response would be similar to yours, but instead of a Vellfire as a family hauler, I'd choose either the Legacy Outback or Audi A4 Avant. Essentially, a station wagon because I couldn't stand driving a large MPV. (I've driven 2nd and 3rd gen Alphards, so nope ^^)
You live in Japan since 1993!? Holy cow... You're definitely living the dream. 😁 Speedhunters accompanied me throughout my adolescence, letting me know car culture outside our native country 🇮🇹 , so THANK YOU! 🙏 Cheers from Italy!
great to see how this channel grow so fast, keep going mate! 🙌 Che qlo cmq che non hai beccato traffico! l’altra volta siam rimasti imbottigliati per ore diohan 😂
Bhai (Brother), your experience and maturity makes the whole content so well presented that I don't know how to complement it properly. You are an inspiration. Please plan to make to make a video on Australia's drag racing scene.
Beautiful R34 and Q&A, but I'm more surprised that nord vpn is your first sponsor?!? Your content is gold and the possibilities to showcase car or car related sponsors seems vast. All of the dealers you visit, large sponsors like Yokohama, Canon, Japan Tourism. I'm just surprised, your content is fire Dino! Keep it up, sponsors or not!
Love it! Super Cool to hear the exhaust note as you where answering all the questions, and yes, this is a brilliant content for you to be adding to this #amazing Channel of yours, let´s say every Semester. Oh, and I´m a subscriber for quite some time now, so for the one´s who don´t subscribe and just watch your content, don´t be a bunch of crybabies and hit the Button, it doesn´t cost you anything - yet - and really helps THIS MAN!!
Dino you uploaded a video of the Pikes Peak Escudo, do you have any more footage from this time period in your life? And how did you get access to show case such a car?
8:38 … Yeah, the immigration system is different but it’s also a way to keep their culture alive! While having foreigners living in Japan can be good for the economy, Japan is still a homogeneous country. Japan isn’t the USA where everyone is considered an American even though they might have a different background / ethnicity. I hope that Japan continues to be that way and doesn’t become a melting pot as a country in the future…
I love your channel, it’s one I really look forward to viewing. Great content and fabulous stories. If you ever make it out to the Middle East, give me a shout!

Yeah, gotta appreciate the effort to deliver and even solve the questions of viewers. Really adds value to the content.

Dino da GOAT
Best jdm content ever
Nice to hear Australia get a mention, I instantly thought of motive Andrew Hawkins. 90’s Japan would have been amazing btw

Yeah I wouldn’t want one for performance driving that’s for sure. But middle seat comfort and space is in Maybach/RR class
Thank you for your work along the years 🙏🏻
My pleasure!
Dino may have the best dream 5 car garage. Amazing taste!
Speedhunters and Sport Compact Car was my goto car content in the early days. Now left only Speedhunters
That was a good Q&A, really enjoyed it!
Love seeing this channel grow, Dino :)
Thank you and to all for the continued support ❤️

Team Signal in Japan was dope, too!! They're the reason I bought my Volk GT-U's!!
Yeah they built some cool cars, pity they are gone now
Love the channel, Thanks for the Q&A!
Bhai (Brother), your experience and maturity makes the whole content so well presented that I don't know how to complement it properly. You are an inspiration. Please plan to make to make a video on Australia's drag racing scene.

Such an interesting video rather different from the others but very enjoyable 👍👍
non avevo idea che sin dal 93 abiti in Giappone. Io mi sono trasferito nel 2000 e poi dopo 4 anni sono tornato in Europa.
Great Q&A
Thanks!
BTW, when "a casa", you're invited to see our base in Lucca. Just let me know🤘🏻
I love your channel, it’s one I really look forward to viewing. Great content and fabulous stories. If you ever make it out to the Middle East, give me a shout!
Thank you! And will certainly try to make it out there again!
Lol, been wanting to know all this.
Introduce us to your family someday ❤
If you can please go to time attack events and maybe get a ride along lol
I’d add far too much ballast 😂
@@dino_dc true downforce lol
Japan must have been fun in 93.
It was, and a very very different place.
Bad boy
Ok fine i'll subscribe lol
Lol 🙏🏻
