Floirendo also hired prisoners from the Davao Penal Colony (Dapecol) as his laborers, permitting him to take advantage of prison labor at starvation wages. Prisoners of Dapecol were given the most physically strenuous jobs in the plantation, such as harvesting, hauling, and drainage work. Workers carried over 50 kilos of bananas over long distances, and were severely punished if they damaged the bananas along the way. During the course of their work, the prisoner-laborers were exposed to many health hazards, such as the inhalation of chemicals, and were susceptible to flu, pneumonia, and other respiratory diseases.

My Favourite all time ride was there!! E34 M5 Blk/blk/blk…Also A.M.K has the BEST taste/collection on the island. All custom with enough unique touches to make it “hers”; you can tell a mile away what are her’s…..she’s been in the “game” for a long minute now…not enough “flowers” thrown her way outside of Asia though……

For myself a regular? (non RUF) 935 flat nose with either RWB or Kremmer kit.. oohh baby best look to a 911 ever 😅 that silver Alfa spyder "duetto" and 356 "bathtub" were pretty sweet too..
What a place this is... Mindblowing / mouthwatering. In a country you wouldn't expect this.
Why NOT? Because you think it's a 3rd world country? People gotta stop it with this assumption, Philippines was never a 3rd world country. It was labeled like that because of the poverty shown in the media back in the day, meanwhile they failed to show the modernized developed side of the Philippines even before this so called BGC fad that's going on right now. EXPLAIN to me what country does not have poverty? United States and Canada have so many homeless drug addicts that live in tents. Western countries that supposedly live in 1st world countries. There are many RICH Filipinos and car enthusiasts since the 1920's importing vehicles till the present day. So stop it with your "assumptions" without doing research 1st.

It's crazy how many of these classic air cooled Porsche's along with other German BMWs and Mercedes there are, given importing of used vehicles is basically illegal in the Philippines unless you've owned the car abroad for a few months while staying there. This is even assuming it's only held by a handful of people.
Back then you can import used cars in the Philippines even RHD JDM cars were imported & converted to LHD. Any Old Car with License Plate starting with letter B, G, Y, R & C are most likely imported unless it has special plates that starts with those letter or the car was officially sold locally & registered in those provinces or special plates
The silver "latches" are called Zeus buttons/Zues festeners, they were imported from the aircraft industry..

At (1:58) that's not a 5 spd 930! 930's were wide bodied and had 4 spd transmissions. Thats a 3.2 Carrera.

Really think RWB is overrated. I used to like them till I saw a build video of the way he works. He’s a hack, literally. Yet people rave about him. There’s so many better builders out there who do actual good work. It’s very disappointing that places like Speedhunters feature his work so much.
