Mutter really is a level higher musically! And her violin is in my humble opinion the greatest stradivarius in existance! Thank you for posting this rarity! And the sound is great as well!
Mutter is so restless and out of rhythmic balance all the time! Mutter had colorless dry cold thin violin sound! Mutter is famous only because Karajan was her friend! Mutter is stealing concerts from better ones! Mutter never played in the big violin competitions and the reason is no prizes for Mutter! Mutter is awful boring dull player! Mutter is horrible dullard player! This must be the weakest Sibelius violin concerto playing in the history!!
Finally somebody who doesn't overuse vibrato and doesn't impose herself over the beauty of this piece. That's a true musician.
I don't think imposing make distract the beauty of a piece while it shows the soloists' power and make non bored eye sight for the audience ..... in just my opinion !!!! 😌😌😌

@@RaineriHakkarainenNo competitions? She was so good that she was asked not to join any competitions as it would not be fun if she won every time. Look it up, that’s why she didn’t participate in competitions when she was young.

Typically, I don’t always prefer her style of playing but she really suits this concerto. She plays it phenomenally.
Dank You Tube kann man heute verschiedene Interpretationen eines Werks leicht vergleichen. Diese Aufführung mit Anne Sophie Mutter höre ich nun nach einer Aufführung mit einer anderen Meisterin ihres Faches: Hilary Hahn. Schwer zu sagen, ob es eine Präferenz gibt. Beide spielen phänomenal gut
