It's insane how people are freaking out. Autonomy IS the future, the most profitable thing Tesla can do is autonomy and robots i mean WHAT other company is really trying to make robots in a mass scale production?
There are plenty of very successful, large scale robotics companies out there. They just focus on specialised robots such as robotic arms etc. because that is what makes sense in like 99.9% of applications. Humanoid robots would be a “jack of all trades, master of none” type thing so they really don’t make much sense when compared to a dedicated setup.

Yes, every baby and elderly person will want not one but multiple. I will order 3-5 for my Parents and the houses they own, which are a huge burden to them. And of course my baby will also need a personal Bot to take care in case I don’t look or for when I’m not there. In my business alone I will order 20+ bots. I will have a bot representative of my company in any major city I operate. Much cheaper than owning a store.
I'm not paying 50k+ for a car to have it wrecked by some stranger when used as a taxi. Even if the taxi service brings me money. One of the reasons I've paid all that money is to have a car that's only used by me. Otherwise I would have just used a regular taxi. Here's why I haven't yet bought a Tesla, even though I like how it drives and I have the money in the bank for it: - hardware inconsistencies between countries: if you're shipping HW4 in a country, ship it everywhere, otherwise I feel scammed, as I'm paying the same price - the price is too close to competitors that offer many things extra, some of which I really want and I'll gladly pay 20k extra for: HUD, real leather, built-in cover for glass roof, Android Auto, trip planning that takes into consideration any brand of charging station, usable driving assistance, stalks and other physical controls - FSD is non-existent in Europe, and that's a whole continent. You're asking for the money for all the features, but you're delivering almost none. - 400V architecture, so not future proof. I'm keeping a car for at least 10 years and I only drive long distances. - no V2L (a 220V socket that doesn't use the 12V battery is all I want, don't want to power a house with it, just some appliances when camping into the wild) - same design for years. It's a great exterior design, but still... - higher ground clearance on competitors (the official ground clearance spec for model Y for instance is a complete lie, measure it on the sides and see how much lower it is) And other reasons that don't come into mind. So when you're saying that people don't know how good FSD is, it's true, they don't know, because the US is not the center of the world, you're selling the car in other countries too where it's useless. And as you can see from the list above, we care about other things as well when spending all that money on a vehicle. Just to clarify, I am a long term stock holder, so I really want the company to do good.
You can buy the car on your company and write it off, you will have your own taxi and you can have it as a money making machine... Small, but still... No doubt that insurance companies will release some product option when somebody will wreck your car or maybe even pay for deep cleaning because somebody spilled some beer on the seats. Not for everybody ofcourse, but there will be plenty of people using and offering cars this way.

Yet the estimations I hear in these earnings calls sound like they expect to have all the Tesla's on the road, not plenty as you mention, suddenly in use as taxis. That won't happen, even if the platform allows it. What can happen is for fleets bought specifically for this purpose to emerge. Like it happened with Airbnb, with apartments used with the sole purpose of being rented out on Airbnb. But the numbers would be much lower. Going on a personal tangent here, In regards to insurance, I don't want to be insured for a risk that doesn't need to exist. I have 0 interest in having my car make money for me. Because it wasn't bought for profit, it was bought for it's utility. And what is the utility of the car, compared to other means of transportation? Immediate availability wherever you are, peace of mind that it's in the same state as you left it off, protection from viruses, storage unit :) .It's a personal item and the majority of people I know (of course, anecdotal evidence) view them as such. They take care of them, love them. A person that can have 1000 cars will not view one as important. A person that can have at most 1 car will view it as very important. The majority of people are in the second category. But maybe I'm wrong. We'll see.

The car is for me only the thing that takes my body from point A to B. Safety and good audio is a must. Renting it out would make my own transport basically free + leasing money + little profit. They will make the renting attractive somehow I guess to attract people. The insurance is a must of course and inside cam should be allowed. In the app should be something like adding exact hours when the car can "run around" so it will not influence my own schedule for example. The leather in Teslas are far superior, especially in comparison to what is offered in similarly priced vehicles. You also seem to be forgetting that the money you save from gas savings is far more valuable compared to your other concerns. Android auto? Physical controls? Teslas software is far better. I think you should consider buying a model x or s.

Exactly. My own copytrade is only with MENON and the least I have closed is 100k although I used a good capital but I have to give credit to MENON regardless because it take exceptional knowledge and skill to pull of such results.

So, Elon talks about how valuable and sought after Nvidia’s compute GPUs are; then he tries to claim that the H100s that xAI got 6 months early had no value. Obviously, by getting them 6 months early xAI benefited. Tesla has not received any value out of that transaction. They could have done a similar trade with another company and gotten value for Tesla. Instead his other company xAI gained value, while Tesla wasted an asset. It seems clear he also is moving personnel from Tesla to xAI. Yet, the rubber stamp board is fine with all of this.
You are very close minded then. If you know Elon, you already know he has a plan for all of his companies to cooperate greatly, it doesn't really matter if xAI will gain a lot from this. If we achieve AGI one day, all of this monetary value of companies will become a bit irrelevant as everybody will have high value passive income without work.

It is. Their current FSD engine is nothing short of incredible. They continue to make steady improvements. At some point, they will have the ONLY general purpose, works anywhere FSD system in the world. It will be orders of magnitude safer than any human driver. EVERY auto maker in the world will be clamoring to license this technology for their own products. It is true that it has taken many years longer than Musk thought it would in the beginning, but the progress has been relentless, and continues quarter by quarter. Anyone who can't see the writing on the wall with where this is going is either blind or completely biased.

- FSD is non-existent in Europe, and that's a whole continent. You're asking for the money for all the features, but you're delivering almost none.
- 400V architecture, so not future proof. I'm keeping a car for at least 10 years and I only drive long distances.
- no V2L (a 220V socket that doesn't use the 12V battery is all I want, don't want to power a house with it, just some appliances when camping into the wild)
- same design for years. It's a great exterior design, but still...
- higher ground clearance on competitors (the official ground clearance spec for model Y for instance is a complete lie, measure it on the sides and see how much lower it is)
And other reasons that don't come into mind. So when you're saying that people don't know how good FSD is, it's true, they don't know, because the US is not the center of the world, you're selling the car in other countries too where it's useless. And as you can see from the list above, we care about other things as well when spending all that money on a vehicle.
Just to clarify, I am a long term stock holder, so I really want the company to do good.
You can buy the car on your company and write it off, you will have your own taxi and you can have it as a money making machine... Small, but still...
No doubt that insurance companies will release some product option when somebody will wreck your car or maybe even pay for deep cleaning because somebody spilled some beer on the seats. Not for everybody ofcourse, but there will be plenty of people using and offering cars this way.

Yet the estimations I hear in these earnings calls sound like they expect to have all the Tesla's on the road, not plenty as you mention, suddenly in use as taxis. That won't happen, even if the platform allows it. What can happen is for fleets bought specifically for this purpose to emerge. Like it happened with Airbnb, with apartments used with the sole purpose of being rented out on Airbnb. But the numbers would be much lower.
Going on a personal tangent here, In regards to insurance, I don't want to be insured for a risk that doesn't need to exist. I have 0 interest in having my car make money for me. Because it wasn't bought for profit, it was bought for it's utility. And what is the utility of the car, compared to other means of transportation? Immediate availability wherever you are, peace of mind that it's in the same state as you left it off, protection from viruses, storage unit :) .It's a personal item and the majority of people I know (of course, anecdotal evidence) view them as such. They take care of them, love them. A person that can have 1000 cars will not view one as important. A person that can have at most 1 car will view it as very important. The majority of people are in the second category.

Me personally I would rent it out for sure. The car is for me only the thing that takes my body from point A to B. Safety and good audio is a must. Renting it out would make my own transport basically free + leasing money + little profit. They will make the renting attractive somehow I guess to attract people. The insurance is a must of course and inside cam should be allowed.
In the app should be something like adding exact hours when the car can "run around" so it will not influence my own schedule for example.

You also seem to be forgetting that the money you save from gas savings is far more valuable compared to your other concerns. Android auto? Physical controls? Teslas software is far better. So, Elon talks about how valuable and sought after Nvidia’s compute GPUs are; then he tries to claim that the H100s that xAI got 6 months early had no value. Obviously, by getting them 6 months early xAI benefited. Tesla has not received any value out of that transaction. They could have done a similar trade with another company and gotten value for Tesla. Instead his other company xAI gained value, while Tesla wasted an asset. It seems clear he also is moving personnel from Tesla to xAI. Yet, the rubber stamp board is fine with all of this.
The assumption would be xAI paid for the GPUs, so Tesla didn't have to, thus Tesla eliminated the wasted Capex investment.
Spending billions of dollars 6 months sooner than needed is bad. Not sure how else to explain this to you.
You are very close minded then. If you know Elon, you already know he has a plan for all of his companies to cooperate greatly, it doesn't really matter if xAI will gain a lot from this. If we achieve AGI one day, all of this monetary value of companies will become a bit irrelevant as everybody will have high value passive income without work.

It is. Their current FSD engine is nothing short of incredible. They continue to make steady improvements. At some point, they will have the ONLY general purpose, works anywhere FSD system in the world. It will be orders of magnitude safer than any human driver. It is true that it has taken many years longer than Musk thought it would in the beginning, but the progress has been relentless, and continues quarter by quarter. Anyone who can't see the writing on the wall with where this is going is either blind or completely biased.

The future value of the company may be based on any number of well wishes/future promises that are spouted in these earnings calls, but currently it is losing market share as an automaker and trying to shuffle AI chips out of the company for other ventures.
