Little known trick with MM is it can be useful at range, despite what most people think. If you can track the target, any missile that comes out while your crosshair is on another player, will have some pretty great tracking. I’ve deleted a few players from a double MM cast from across ruins Bridge module by tracking while they are running away
bro what is the counter play to Bards with a survival bow who are hugging a corner/pillar shooting with 30% + action speed, I cant seem to find a solution
I kinda wanna see if I can make arcane feedback work, like take maybe arcane mastery, arcane feedback, fire mastery, sage/ quick chant? Take meditate as well?
Is magic power bonus also affected by scaling, ex: mm scaling is .75 and I have a power bonus of 10% does mm damage get increased by 7.5% or just the mpb of 10%
True Damage The damage added by the "True Physical Damage" or "True Magical Damage" affixes on gear. Each will only apply to its respective damage type (True Magical Damage will not apply to an Arming Sword, for example). This damage is mostly unaffected by any other multipliers, and is added at the end of all calculations. This stat is influenced by Scaling. darkanddarker.wiki.spellsandguns.com/Damage#Damage_Formula
That is actually not how the scaling works. The additional mag/true mag stats will always give you a flat dmg increase. The scalling is actually a multiplier for your magic damage bonus stat. So in the case of magic missile, if you had a 20% mag power bonus than each missile would actually do 15% more damage and then the add/true mag dmg would be added. Someone please correct me if this is wrong tho
Unfortunately wizard gets hard countered by all the Warlocks and Barbarians running around + the usual random things that can kill a solo wizard such as landmine rogues or fighters hiding around corners etc

what would be you course of action if the fighter on min 10 crouch jumped into you, canceling second missiles instead of trying to back off?
They have to decide either to hit you or block. If they block you create space if they hit you, you dps them

A few patches ago but the scaling went from 1 to 0.75 ( it’s a nerf )

If you stack plus magic damage rather than true your head shots will hit harder. True magic damage ignores armor but won't give you headshot value.
Also your leg shots will hit lower right? So true damage would be better vs anyone using the shield strategy against you
Correct if you can only land hs, it's better but nobody can do that in game

Good for low gear, but high gear people block it and it's not as good as other spells

This is how I understood it to be with true mag damage, but I thought additional mag interacts with magic power bonus in some way too?
@@yogdhir4254Only things +add scales with is %MDR of your enemy and Limb Modifier. Which is why true is better (ignoring %MDR)
this is incorrect, the 0.75 is how the flat scales, the magical damage itself scales with the BASE damage only
The 0.75 does in fact work for +add and for +true, you're wrong about that.
