Special thanks to Indy for loaning the civilian freighter, Praetor Paktu for being my test audience, and Zippy for coming up with the name.

Thanks for watching!
What space engineers is supposed to be
Thumbs up for this. 👍
All of those turrets getting shot off one after another at 2:30 was sick
Loved the cinematic, cant wait to see more
I enjoy your simplistic, yet still aesthetic and clean style of ships. And I'm surprised at how remarkably compact they are. I can tell you're inspired by Space Battleship Yamato, which has always held a place dear in my heart.
Yea Im a massive SBY nerd myself lol
meanwhile third deck turret :
if I don't look at them, they are not there
Very nice ship designs, mixing well rocket and naval ship looks.
I love seeing stuff like this
It does not matter how good it looks
as long as it has a story to tell
Nebulous....but in Space Engineers
WOW, what a funtastic adventure!!! Expertly done and so very entertaining! I'd love to see more of this, please!!!
This was fun to watch, more!!!
doing cinematics for that new universe is gonna b so much fun aswell (if we get round to it)
I like your turret layout. Like a Nelson Class battleship
That was the inspiration for it
cool designs, reminds me of Space Battleship Yamato, i rlly wanna see a larger ship now
All those interior turrets got to be reloaded by hand lol. Thats a good build tho!
Absolutely amazing, this was a top tier cinematic keep up the good work
Great movie and camera work, the ships looking cool is also a big bonus. 👍
The only two things I would change:
1. The font type/size and color of the "ship" that is talking.
2. Add a "radio chatter" meaningless sound effect during the "speech".
Preferably id get some friends to donate their voices, radio sound is defo a good idea tho
@@Cuteseals2 That would work too, just remember to "garble" the voices with static or other chatter noises to add more immersion. Clean voice sounds do not sound realistic. 😹
Now that is some inspiring work there. My gaming group will have a field day planning amazing adventures and living greatness in the cold void of space tomorrow. But now inspired by this video as well.
You can also hold CTRL or SHIFT + move the middle mouse wheel while in the spectator view to change the speed you travel or the mouse sensitivity for more stable video.
awesome well done thanks for sharing
Love the video. I have a tip for you in case you don't know. If you want to use the spectator camera in some dynamic shots, make sure you set the camera to follow the player. For some reason is giving you much more smooth and stable shoot's. But make sure you don't move the character by mistake, otherwise it will also move the camera view.
Yea ive been meaning to teach myself some of the spectator tricks tbh
Cool video.
Think i downloaded the wrong Nebulous Fleet Command
love it! I see where you got your inspiration from xd
The ships are very similar to ships from Space battleship yamato
Nice video, I think you did better than my cinematic video
Lol thanks, took a lot of effort but was well worth it
nice :-)
So cool!
Doing this, but in real emergent multiplayer gameplay has been my dream since the launch of this game. Sadly, it just never happens…
you might want to look up Nebulous Fleet Command
@@cannogabang1999 I own it. It’s fun, but nothing like space engineers.
@@joelmulder have you tried the Expanse server? I hear it's good, never tried it. Constant problem with most servers seems to be... Space Is Big, where are all the people?
@@Soul.food. I have. The videos about it look fantastic, but I’m located in Japan while the server is in Europe somewhere, so the ping is absolutely unbearable.
good cinematic i enjoyed it to bad the escort i was rooting for died
Aw rip
