    With this kind of content, I did not expect you to only have 188 subscribers, and the video only 1.3k views! You deserve more attention!

      I appreciate it. This is technically not a Space Engineers channel and I don't promote it due to having few subscribers and it's supposed to be my catch-all curiosities channel (is why there's dashcam and misc stuff up here too). We'll see going forward, spengies is kinda all I'm posting anyway so it may transform...

    sub grid hell. Honestly though, awesome job! Embarrassingly I have almost 3000 hours and I'm not sure i could get that many sub grids onto a ship without it ripping itself apart.

      Ty. You are absolutely right about subgrids, they're a mess a lot of the time (I mean that was the issue in the prior vid with the clang issues). These mostly vanity ships I can get away with it, but a survival or combat ship has to be simpler. I'll broach the subject again on of the future vid ideas I have...

    With this type of design progression, The Wang is a nightmare inside with things scrambled everywhere.

    • @DoodleDangWang
      @DoodleDangWang  2 месяца назад

      Yeah interior-wise it is not symmetrical, but it's not as maze-like as it seems. Part of me was kinda going for that Millennium Falcon vibe with compartments tucked away all over the place. I do get that vibe isn't for everyone tho...

    I know I'm repeating the previous comment, but holy crap, your videos are so high quality, you definitely deserve more subscribers and more attention, and I loved the ship design and breakdown, it was very informative and interesting! Keep making great content, you've definitely got a knack for it!

      Thank you very much, I appreciate it! I had put all the editing effort into my old unrelated channel (ramblingjer359) back in the day and this channel is technically my throwaway. Every once in awhile tho, feels good to splurge on the effort...

    I love a ship built with roleplayable stuff on it like ramps and all these fancy features. Klang probably wouldn't though lol.

      @@weapieraxe1650 lol, indeed. Oddly, the Wang works well but the smaller Vesper ship in the prior vid struggled. Quite odd...

      I've had that issue with many things over the years between music and programming and creative building in games like Spengies. Focusing on the end product helps me focus while allowing change throughout construction. Redoing bits and starting over sections is part of the process. So long as the end vision is concrete, I can keep on track...
