Thank you a lot for that knowledge! That really works. Tired of video where lots of pseudo techers are talking about how to be a bullier (stronger, alpha), but actually that's the point. We are not animals, we don't have to be them. Thank you for everything you are doing :)

That's not bullying that's physical violence - which is a crime.

Cool video, haven't seen B&W TV in ages, lol. I've got a video about bullying on my channel that discusses a very similar tactic, but my approach is more about outsmarting the bullying via manipulation which is easier for most bullying-victims to do than learning to genuinely feel so positive/empowered that you can tolerate anything that the bully does - that requires large self esteem, most people with that much confidence don't get bullied.

Thanks for the video. but what if it's "concealed" bully or a gossiper? An old friend who secretly turned into an enemy while denying it when being asked directly? In short, who does all the bs behind your back and at your expense uplevels his self- esteem , selling your very private information?

Ask if they think its true. Don't speak to rumours. Silence is not acceptance - quite the opposite.

All these comments are only reenforcing what I was thinking as I watched this video... Bullies today must be sissies or wimps compared to what they were in my day. Name calling? That's what we call bullying today? Really? What do you call the guy who slaps your head down when getting a drink from the fountain? Kicks your leg sideways and shoves you from behind while you're walking down the hall? Sticks you with thumbtacks from behind in class? What were those guys? Because when I was in school we called them "bullies" and we laughed at "name callers".

Just be relieved you aren't in their hell, a group constantly worried about perception control.

This is fine and all, but the best way to disarm a bully is to make him incapable of holding a weapon.

I know you mean well but this is terrible advice. Bullies only understand power because that is what they're seeking by targeting people they consider weaker than them. They typically don't go after people who they know will fight back or present any kind of challenge to their position. Complimenting them and trying to disarm them with niceness just shows them you are afraid of them, which is what they want. It makes them feel powerful.
I appreciate that it seems you're trying to teach empathy, but all it does in this particular context is make it harder for people to learn to stand up for themselves. I know, because my mom tried to teach the same approach that you are and it's had negative consequences in terms of me learning to be assertive against domineering individuals. I'm still working on trying to correct it and it sucks.
