But there's another special place waiting for us - Avakas Gorge. Let's explore this beautiful island one more time before we're back to our country house 😊

I wonder if Cypress was once covered in mature forests….until man got there, cut them all down. Looks FUN! ❤
The mountains are still covered in forests. But in general Cyprus being a warm Mediterranean island, we would expect forests not to be everywhere. All in all, it's a beautiful country 😊

Avakas Gorge was probably my favorite place in Cyprus.
Haha, this spinach one was surprisingly not from Lidl but from a local bakery, that's where we bought the baklava and the little cookies too 😁
We loved the gorge; we love seeing such natural wonders 😊

This has to be one of the most beautiful places to visit. I would want to keep going back over and over. Baklava is one of the flakiest, sweetest, richest desserts I know and love it! Sorry it’s been awhile since I sent you a note, my doctors messed up my medicine and I have been in and out of the hospital for the last 2 months. They did a lot of damage and I hope to eventually get back to normal. It’s so nice to see my Thursday videos from you guys. This was so wonderful. Keep bringing them.♥️

Hi, thank you 😊 Glad we could take you with us at least through our videos 😉 Cyprus is safe, it's European Union so it's like we are still home. But we were there only for 5 days at the beginning of October anyway, so we've been back home for some time now, enjoying autumn days in our garden 😉
@@tommyandpeter I'm relieved to know you're back home! As a web activist for several causes, I've always been interested in geopolitics and especially the info we can't usually get on the mainstream media.
I was particularly worried about you guys going to the northern part but, as a staunch supporter of Israel, I also know that even the safe areas are being viewed as targets by fanatics for their having a considerable Israeli population, such potential attacks makes the situation especially risky for those of our community, LGBTIQs, for obvious reasons due to their radical views on our kind. Deserted areas as those shown in the video are even riskier considering this context.
These are dangerous times to travel anywhere out of Europe or the 1st World countries, though we know terrorist attacks have often happened in these regions too but that happens exactly because of the same kind of fanatics.

But we didn't go to the Turkish Northern part of Cyprus, so we were still in the European Union. Don't know if you know but we are all official citizens of the European Union, Czechs as well as Cypriots, Germans, French and so on, we have it on passports and ID cards. So Cyprus is the 1st world country, it's not like Israel or Lebanon and these other countries. There was no danger whatsoever, you don't have to worry here, it's the same as being in Greece for example 😉 Anyway, we were there before the attack on Israel, we read the shocking news when we were returning home.
@@tommyandpeter I'm relieved to read that, my first concern was about the northern part! I fear that places close to any region these radicals have some access to ( such as Northern Cyprus) will be liable to such attacks cause they're even planning to do it on our western cities. Recently, here in Brazil such a wicked plot was foiled by our Feds! Stay safe, lovely ones🙏

No new camera, still the old one. But maybe Cyprus and its beaches are so beautiful that even the old camera can film it somehow better 😁
OMG finaly managed to watch cyprus part 2 or 3 hahaha. it feels so strange everytime someone says baklava with english accent, Peter managed just the first time and we were like omg it feels so unnatural, but other 2 times he said as all slavs say it. Rental cars there, eventually everyone who breaks the rule about field dirt roads learns the lesson hard way. my greek friend is one of those. The bottom part of car gets wrecked eventualy, everyone there use jeeps or quads, people who live there.
When Tommy said the east one for church, i must confess things with orthodox chatholic church seems to get complicated. i mean in croatia most of orthodoxs are serbs and they are orinated to russian orthodox church, they celebrate xmass in january, then there is smaller group of orthodox whos ethnicity i forgot who are orientated to greek orthodox church when it comes to liturgy and holidays, and now we have ukranines who cut all ties with russian orthodox church and announced their own and celebrate x mass at a same time as roman chatholics. it is confusing honestly..
Haha, this video was part 4, but anyway 😁 Yes, when I speak English I also somehow use the accent or something. In real life I would never say Baklava like that 😀 Oh yeah, all religions are complicated and confusing, no doubt about that.
@@tommyandpeter almost all Slavs born after late 70ties have more British/American/Irish accent when speaking English, or mix off all. We are generations of English only computers, console, satelite dish and cable TV, pirate cartoons and movies and games with no subtitles or any kind of translation. So originall accents slowly become part of our way of speaking. When I speak English I always use British accent for Zagreb, IKEA or škoda. But in Croatian nope. One of my friends moved to New Zealand 7 years ago, omg accents there and whole English language is something different lol. 3 days with him and I completely picked up the kiwi accent, same happend when I was in Ireland and Scotland or spent 10 days with Aussie friend..

Hi guys! Baklava is very popular on the Balkans but I am not sure if I ever tried it.I just know it contains very big amount of sugar so I don't think it is very healthy.

I just started watching your videos. It appears you like beaches very much. I do, too. When you aren't filming, are you swimming and sunbathing naked? Do you try to be naked as much as possible when outside?
Hi Steve, we really like finding these secluded beaches, preferably without people. Then we can take off our swimwear, why not. Not sure if we try as much as possible but it's very nice being in our birthday suits, haha 😁 Whether on the beach or at our country house 😋
