Testează dynamic range la amiaza mare cu nori pufoși și umbre agresive. Acolo vezi ce dynamic range are nu la apus. Cât despre imagine, no coment. Dream camera! Felicitari pentru achiziție!
Having just ordered the V Raptor, I found your channel and OMG, you have freaking awesome content! Can't wait to see more and more :) Two questions: Where will people watch 8K and secondly what's the brand of the anamorphic lens that you've used here? Many thanks and cheers from Atlanta, GA :)
Nice footages, nice video, nice rythm... a pleasure to watch!
But seriously... how do you guys manage to buy such expensive cameras 🤯
Can you work on a settings video??
Amazing bro
Awesome work What camera did you use for this Video of you shooting on the red was it the Sony FX3?
hi can i ask if its possible to take photos with red raptor on a drone scan mission ?
Nice!
Which anamorphic lens did you use in your test?
Impresionant! Mai ales filmarile cu obiectivul anamorfic. Totusi in anumite secvente ai folosit un reflector.
Amazing work!!! Anyway you can upload a raw clip from the field for us to grade? Would love to grade a 120fps clip!
I will try to upload one on google drive tomorrow, I will respond with the link here
@@AlexDon Wow nice! I'm waiting
Could you go over grading process? Which LUT's did you use for these? Did you grade in resolve?
I did grade in resolve and I used my luts to do it. I started from the red log and applied one of my rec709 conversion luts and then I adjusted the levels to where I liked and then I applied a creative lut on top. Pretty easy grading but it took me a while to figure out what the codec like and doesn’t like
Which great joy anamorphic lens did you use?
Raptor plus Vespids, a gorgeous combination. I was planning on getting that myself, but I ended up with the Komodo and Pictor Zooms. Still great, but not as great as its big brother.
Yes yes, even though the vespid are a little bit soft on raptor compared to other cameras, which is strange because red has 8k resolution 🤔 it was quite hard to keep focus in most situations, compared to a sigma for example or a vintages lens. I used the red komodo on a recent commercial and I did not like it that much :(
@@AlexDon I'm also curious to know what you didn't like about the Komodo?
Love the audio! What wireless lav and recorder are you using?
Thanks a lot! I use the sony uwp-d21
I have a RED Raven my self. Had for 4 years now, and been loving it so far. But omg im amazed by the Raptors image. Guess your are not going back to an A7siii Alex, hahaha :D
He'll go back once the honeymoon period is over. They are complimentary. I've a Komodo and it isn't practical for a lot of scenarios or shots making me reach for FX3 and the image quality is identical (except for sharpness with Komodo being 6k) if you know how to grade. Raptor will obviously be better than both of them in terms of image but there will be lot of places where it won't be as practical either.
Bro nice video! You still didnt give us the settings information. What did you changed on the settings to make better video’s ?
Yes, fair point! So what I did was to import my own lut into the camera and use that to judge exposure. Their lut is not bad but I didn’t like the image i was seeing while filming and it set me off.
@@AlexDon Unfortunately I cant add my R3D files from v raptor in to davinci. Can you help me with that?
What model of monitor are you use in 3:54?
Great Video man! Can you break down the final cost of the Raptor build?
I think the RED Raw is incredible. I would love to invest in the system one day.
I think this whole setup is worth around 40k euros in Europe
Does anyone, can anyone recommend a rucksack for the V-Raptor? Body, 2 Lenses med size, Monitor, Top and side handle and cage (broken down ), two batteries and charger. For plane carry on.
nice
Man at this point i would really like to know wich camera was used to film you while you been talking because it looks amazing...
Hahaha, it has been shot with Sony a7siii
@@AlexDon Thank You very much for the answer and for this video :)
Is it worth the price difference from a FX9? I have the FX6 now and I'm looking at purchasing the Raptor since the FX9 is only "marginally" better than the 6.
I would look for a Sony Venice second hand to be honest, if you already have a Sony fx6
if you got a chance pls compare it to Canon R5c
💥 OMG 😱😱💥 8K 120 FPS🤩🤩🤩🤩
Overcast conditions are not "horroble lighting". Its the best natural lighting you could hope for outside the golden hour
Take it to 2000
This shall be my next camera by God's grace
i m not really a fan of the mtb footage neither the looks or the filming, love the rest tho
looks very punchy like a DSLR.
These colors are not very good.
