I’m curious why they’d need a high end camera to record some dude talking about why you should buy AMD over Intel.
Some of this production equipment seems like huge overkill.
I mean Linus has definitely talked about it once (including why they record at 8k), but I honestly can't remember his justification. Future proofing?? I don't remember
Time savings
@@seagatie it makes life a lot easier when editing because they can zoom in on items and crop stuff out of frames and still maintain the 4K quality, plus downscaling video makes it clearer with higher detail than recording straight to the same resolution as the finished video
watching on a 60hz monitor, "oh yeah, i see it, the 600 fps is most definitely smoother"
Nice display of "I don't know what I'm talking about" *thumbs up*
Linus, please let Brandon fully geek out on this camera! It is awesome to see the LMG staff talk about the things they are passionate about!
Full camera reviews in general would be amazing!
Let's go Brandon, I would like to see a full review!
While it is really interesting, I'm neutral about wanting a review. Since I wouldn't personally get it, I'd prefer reviews of cool tech that I'd want to get and can afford :P
But Brandon only covers camera reviews! We want more Brandon!!!
I'd be okay with
Hilarious having 3 camera guys on set, so when there's something crazy, like the non-standard v-mount thingy, they all freak out simultaneously and we get 3 times as many reactions as normal
FULL REVIEW PLEASE. I know i'll never get to own one of these but cameras are so interesting, please do more !!!
"Stormtrooper White: guaranteed to help you miss every shot with their patented white coating!"
You would use the front 1/4 20' ports near the lens to probably attach rails to control focus via a dial you prefer or smtg.
The exterior control LIMO is likely to connect the camera to an MDR and by extension an exterior FIZ unit.
It powers the FIZ motors and allows a FIZ hand unit to start stop the camera, plus some basic controls with the Preston HU4 I believe
I would love a full review. Brandon is always a joy to watch do reviews
Full review!!! Also, a follow up to how is going with the Blackmagic ones would be good.
Linus: *buys hundreds of super expensive 12 k cameras* Me: watches the video in 1080p anyway
YESSSS we want a full review of this camera!!!
Red gave us the most legendary Linus rant videos ever, so of course I want a full review for this
We always need a full review of every new cinema or video focused camera from Brandon even stills cameras work.
Full camera / photography chanel when? Kai is to agressive for me, but Brandons way of presenting these videos is just charming and very informative!
Full review gogo
Nothing makes me enjoy a ltt vid more then when linus squeals about how expensive something is.
I'd love to see a full review, and a full review of all the accessories. And more Keyboard videos.
I have no interest or knowledge about cameras, photography, or cinematography.
Yet I still love watching Brandon talk about cameras. Please do a full review.
And then water-cool it :)
Photography/videography content is my favorite ltt content
Full review please. Brandon videos are always golden.
would be cool to see a full review, like how it actally shoots and all that
Full review yes please! Love seeing what the tech I can't afford can do :D
There aren't many places where you can read a well made honest objective review of equipment of this calibre. Obviously, very few people would actually buy something like this but it still is entertaining content. So yes, please do a full review.
