I’m excited for you, you deserve this, you make very good video content and you have a great personality. I’m excited to see some new landscapes, architecture, and arctic photos you produce 😎👍🏼
Dude. Don't break your new camera because you won't read an instruction manual. Just relax and read when something isn't working like you thought it would. Those big batteries are expensive, and that camera body is priceless.
I purchased the X2D and the 55v earlier this year and it’s been such a pleasure to own and shoot with. Enjoy! I look forward to seeing what you create with it
It's working... On the other hand it's a slam in the face for those who bought everything with hard earned money! I already bought for thousands of € (H and X-series) but never got anything offered. ☹
@domipro123 Agreed. There's something strange deep down that sticks in our craw, some playground-level feeling of having been unfairly looked over, like the videos of kids who get more while their friends get nothing. There's a human understanding of fairness that itches inside us when we see others get something nice and we get nothing. That said, we all know that influencers do their job for a reason and that they live from the gear talk, which is also predicated on the idea of getting gear on loan. What galls many this time is that they aren't just getting it to review - they get to keep it. Would be interesting to research if this deep-seated sense of fairness leads to any animosity towards the brand.
Same here. I've got the original beast for less than R5 would cost me. With the hasselblads, i'm not the largest fan of their new lineup, somehow it doesn't feel as premium as i'd thought after using 503CW for some time. I've shot it with 80/1.9. Fuji is more plasticky, yes, but you can adapt anything you want on those if the look of the lens is for example too clinical. Zeiss Planar 80 CFi or Canon EF85/1.2 does wonders on these sensors.

DJI is really trying to make Hasselblad a consumer brand since acquiring the majority of them. Seems like every big RUclips photography channel has one now.
It's hard to say. They're still always going to be expensive because of how they're manufactured which means they'll be out of the price range of most entry level consumers. Me getting to show a Hasselblad camera is kind of like watching a movie in IMAX, most of us will never use an IMAX camera, but we can certainly appreciate the end result and the cinematography that went into the movie.
@@AnthonyGugliottathat’s a good comparison. You’re likely right about the Hasselblad brand, but I do wonder if a new DJI interchangeable lens camera is coming next like rumored. Just seems odd for Hasselblad to be so active on social media all at once like this with a product so out of reach for 99% of us.
It's about making a halo product for DJI so folks with their drones have something to aspire to. Very good marketing move and very good cameras, even though personally i'm not into them
I’m on a Canon RP because that’s all my budget will allow. I’d love an R5 or R6 but, I can’t afford them. I don’t have a dream camera. It’s the photographer and not the tool! Happy Shooting! 😊
How does the image quality compare to a camera that does pixel shift to get those high resolutions? A Lumix s5ii/x does 96mp with this feature for example. Not talking about handling, but pure image quality.
I own the Hasselblad X2D, and you will be tempted to take it out on shoots that would be overkill for what this camera does. Blame it on Curiosity and you will be amazed at how much information you can pull from images captured such as the crop ability that acts as a telephoto and macro lens. Also, its high dynamic range can pull details from blown-out highlights and deep shadows. Best of all it has a leaf shutter lens that caps at 1/4000 sec without high-speed sync.

Nice. the big drawback of the XD cameras is the lenses... so $$$, limited, and mostly primes compared to the GFX series. GF lenses are weather sealed and cheaper. If your new 20-35 is as good as the GF 20-35, you're really going to enjoy it! The internal storage is a really nice touch though. I wish all cameras offered that.
