nice quad! my gues is the video feed was choppy like that because its set up for a 4s battery in its PDB wiring. and not Vcc. when the 3s gets below 12volts the vtx struggles with the power drop. i bet if you fly 4s you'll see solid video the entire flight. epic flying through that tree!!

You sound like me. GPS and altitude hold makes flying more fun and less work. The automatic RTH takes the worry of a fly away pretty much out and reduces the stress factor. ;-)

I have a constructive thought for you. If you would be a bit more chatty and respond to your followers, who just would like an acknowledgement of their questions or coments, no matter if they are directly on topic of a video. The RCSAYLORS do just that. Their subscriptions have steadily gone up to over 20,000 and are still rising. People like to feel more directly connected. Your videos are first rate. People watch. They just need a little more reason to subscribe. This video was great. The FPV flight video is always great. You have beautifully interesting scenery. You always impart a lot information about the bird you are reviewing. ;-)

Roger. I see what you mean. The Saylors are young and have no kids. Nate works like from 4 AM to like 11AM. He is a manager for UPS. He has the energy of youth and Abby to help with video production and editing. I imagine that makes a hell of a difference. Keep on doing what you can. You do an OUTSTANDING job! ;-)

or you could solder the vtx onto vcc direct power line (instead of 12v regulated) and she'll be solid on a 3s. maybe, haha. really like the design

Looks like the Fpv Cam isn't tilt able? If not that's a fatal flaw in a racing quad.
Also, I'll bet an lc filter would clear up the lines in the video.

These are antenna's Atomic Aviation sent with the quad and I'm not sure. I've asked them for a bit more info on the setup.

Damn that thing can shift, great review once again. Have you tried it with the arms tilted yet and if so how was it?
I haven't tried but plan to. I think I could handle some motor tilt and the cam would be a bit more horizontal as well.
whats the battery time for one of these and also how far could you fly using onky fpv ,like how could is the signal and what is acro mode?
5 to 8 minutes depending on how much your on the throttle. This is the norm for good race drones.
I did Fast Forward so I didn't catch what you said it was running but I bet that is betaflight 3.0 4 or 2.9 real smooth :)
Honestly not sure. I'm hoping to get a bit more info from Atomic Aviation on the setup.
Good eye UV! This demo aircraft is running a DoDo flight controller with betaflight 2.9 installed.
you know what's crazy I've only had betaflight on my quad for about 4 days now and I love it betaflight 3.0 I can tell by the way it sounds LOL :)
