I have the 180 and love it, it's good to see the big brother as I'm looking to what Im going to move up to next. it would be really interesting to see a shootout between the tyrant and the equivalent crusader from Diatone. What the pros and cons are and which you'd prefer to race with.
Durability wise the Tyrant will probably win with the 4mm bottom plate. 4mm is standard these days. Nobody should be making anything thinner than 4mm. - JD
Seems like a powerful flyer. I think you should crash it a few times how else would you know wether or not it's durable. That T60 connector being so close to the props seems like an accident waiting to happen.
True. The carbon on this one looks a lot nicer than some other chain quads. It is def a high grade carbon. Oh, the XT60 is close but its ok. Just twist it and you'll be fine. I have other quads like that. You can also make a vertical grommet mount for it. - JD.
Great video. New to the sport and got the Tryant 180. All set up but used BlHeli Configurator on MAC to look at the ESCs. For some reason, updated the version from 6.45 to 6.6 and now cannot see motors 1 and 3 on the configurator. Looked on cleanflight and all four motors are configured properly and work but when connected to my taranis only 2 and 4 spin. Can you help me please? What can I do to fix this?
Do you have any problems with the battery wire going into the props? I see that they are SUPER close to those props, and maybe when you're punching the climb out, they might catch in the props?
I recommend using the FrSky X4R... It is the best receiver for the Taranis in my option. It is digital versus analog. Find it here: www.gearbest.com/multi-rotor-parts/pp_343509.html?wid=21&lkid=10110248
i have the turnigy 9xr pro and its all wired up ready to go, but cant seem to arm or get the motors to work even after re-flashing it to not need the safety on, but still cant get the motors to work. anyone else have this problem or any ideas to fix it?
How do you think the Wizard x220 compares to Diatone Crusader GT2 200 and the Tyrant 215? The Wizard ARF is pretty inexpensive but I wish it had osd. So GT2 maybe worth the extra money. Thanks
Secure your esc units well onto the arms like this guy does. If you do like most in the videos posted after a few impacts solder pads will come off and you will have nothing.
Great camera footage, no jello. Great looking racer. Awesome review.

Nice review Justin. Would love to see a review and get your thoughts on the Tyrant S if you can get your hands on one. 👍
I like this Diatone! great review!
great rewiev, anyway you can do rewievs for skme transmiters ? low budget, mid range or high range.
You should do a build with that guy .... Some time
Would be cool. Wonder where he lives.
Ahh Houston Tx.
Do you like this or the holybro shuriken 250 that you just reviewed more? both seem great. I like the OSD and the xt60 connector built in on the 250

Sorry, commented too early, mentioned this problem later in the video! Thanks for the review!
That intro though! 🙌🏾
Did you feel you were able to get a good PID tune on it?
Hey how much space is there for Rx? You didn't mention that and I am wondering what Rx I will need?
I had a little space up front. I used a FrSky d4r2. If you can do it with a painless version that would save some room. _ JD
I'm pretty new to the hobby and I've just orderd Teranis X9D plus .....what receiver do you recommend? ( that's easy to install/setup)

ty!
X4R will get more range
There is evidence that you can get the same range, if you trim your antennas to 1/4 wave
how do you get to full acro mode in clean flight with this quad or any other
Do you recommend a Tyrant 215 for a newbee

Have you heard of the STIGG 195 frame??
oh yea!
What is the polarity of the antenna on this, please?
Betaflight compatible ?
How does this compare to the Diatone Crusader GT2 200? Thanks
GT2 is better in my opinion.
