Me and my 10 different screenshots of the same 1.5 second appearance for Baizhu before his release...
You would think that Beidou would appear more, as she travels a lot and could end up in most of the nations, but noooooo she doesn't even show up in her own nation. She gets three seconds and that's it. I am more salty than the sea in which she sails

As an Ayato and Baizhu fan I am suffering because though Ayato gets _SOME_ screentime, it's usually so little and always related to him being some political person instead of his own personal character growth for whatever reason. I have an inside joke with my friends that he just goes:
"Hello Traveler"
(???)
"Goodbye Traveler. It was a pleasure to meet you again."
because of how ridiculously bad his screentime really is.
...And don't get me started on Baizhu because I can't even start on Baizhu because he doesn't. Get. ANYTHING AT ALL 😢

as someone whose fave is Baizhu I feel called out, personally attacked, specifically targeted by this video and the title 🥲💀 no, I'm definitely not bitter that he is absolutely nowhere in this year's lantern rite according to the leaks, no I'm definitely not holding a grudge against hoyo for him not being anywhere to be seen IN THE ENTIRE REGION BEING RELEASED THIS PATCH THAT IS SPECIFICALLY ASSOCIATED WITH HIM AND IS HIS HOMELAND.... of course i'm not salty, why do you ask. :))))))
Seriously, "hoyoverse hates Baizhu" has been a joke since his release last year, but fr it no longer feels like a joke; Istg they must GENUINELY have some kind of dislike for him, it makes absolutely no sense why he's getting so shafted IN ALL THE PLACES WHERE IT MAKES SENSE TO PUT HIM, after such a half-assed release in 3.6 in a patch that had nothing to do with him and where no non-Baizhu fans cared to pull for him because they did a terrible job of marketing him. He got an amazing story quest and his character has so much potential, more than almost anyone else in the game; he deserves so much better. 😭💔 I'm so happy to be able to explore Chenyu Vale, but man...... "taking 5 pictures with him there" this so accurate it hurts and i want to cry, i hate hoyo so much ffffffffff
he'll have a bigger role in the future of genshin's story /cope
I do wish he got more screentime though, he does have a lot of potential especially because of how closely his work mirrors that of Rhindottir
I really dont care for Liyue's cast the most, precisely because Hoyo is scared of doing literally anything with them.
Haven’t watched the video yet, but my favorite character is Zhongli so I suppose he will appear at least more than 5 seconds 😅
