You're the man, Joe. Give Lori and Stephen my best. Some channels are flat out not liking this Hornet, but you always deliver with a fair, unbiased and truthful breakdown. Thanks, Raiti's Rides.
What’s the reliability tho.
@@Machenziethemodel Seriously? Everything is reliable today. It may be LESS reliable than some others but those others are BORING. It costs money to have fun.
"You're going to bust cream all over the back interior". Phrasing...LOL. Great video!
Was looking for this comment 😂
Please tell me he was talking about a twinke!! 😂
I owned 2 1985 Dodge Omni GLH Turbos, hope they do the GLH namesake justice? One was stock and the other was a modified 12 second sleeper? Definitely not a true sleeper, but only time will tell if it will live up to Carol Shelby's legendary status?
Morpheus: _”How is he?”_

raiti: I've got a lot of new content!
morpheus: show me.
Super nice review with a super nice UV. 👍 keep it up
Burst cream all over the back interior!!! 😂
You sir are hilarious 😂
The big zonk for me, no increased power output for the GLH name. When they did the reveal at Dodge Speed Week they really made you think the power was going to go up. Disappointingly will be a $50k lipstick and mascara package for the R/T. I do like it, but needed to be more.
im pretty sure the GLH does have a huge power increase
This Dodge Hornet glh goes like hell and looks awesome I liked it because the most black strips in the center look extremely shiny also I liked the way the red seats nice combination everything is spot on the money including the steering wheels, infotainment screen, mated 2.0 l inline four cylinders automatic transmission all wheels drive a hornet did a great job in this segment thanks
I bought the first GLH in 1984 and I loved that thing. It was fast back in the day, I can't wait to see this in person.
I had an 1984 Omni GLH turbo! Loved that car!
I love all of these Rides. The part where he says, 'Before we get into the blankety blankety blank, let's find out what is going on here....' lol So cool! Keep it up.
Hey Joe. Heard there is recall for Honda civic type R. Something about welds on front seat. Wanted to let you know. 👍
Dodge bringing back the "GLH" moniker. Haven't seen that since the Dodge Omni from the 80's.
Or the DLS. K car. Drives like shit
Beautiful Color Combo on this Stunning Hornet GLH!!
Yes man new contact keep going 💯
Another fantastic review 🫶🏾
That really means the world!
Awesome Joe and Lori!
Im really digging that color combo.
I bought a brand new GLH Turbo, it was a 1985 model. Black on red, five speed stick, A/C, sunroof, AM/FM Stereo with cassette and rear defroster. Sticker price was $10,004.00. I could spank Mustang GT's and Z28's off the line to about 50 mph.
Joe and Lori and keep up the good work and I love the video 👍
Great work Raiti's Ride! But there's a video showing this car completely flat line from a traction control/awd test! When it finally started back up, all the gauge lights came on, the check engine light stayed on..... It was crazy smh
Honestly this thing looks damn good. Expecially with those stripes... geez .... may not be a v8 challenger but it's got that Boss with the Sauce look
Thanks you too I appreciate it is amazing
If it’s a four banger and a suv...it’s a grocery getter.
That's what the masses want. They don't want loud obnoxious boats...
This car is definitely a dream of mine. I have to admit i don't see the BIG deal in sharing and we'll find out later down the road 😂 Great video 👍🏽
Joe, do you think of your food size comparisons beforehand or do you just wing it as you go? Either way. Love it.
Amazing review very through
this is a 9 speed hybrid? Not the 6 speed rt version ? 2.0 engine or 1.3?
You’re the best joe and Lori!😊
nice car 🤩 like the power too
So is the lower trim the only gas engine? No for hybrid and plug- in . Love you joe , Lori your the best out there ❤
Wow! THATS SO AWESOME!!! YOUR THE BEST JOE! I LOVE THE DODGE HORNET!
GLH, I see what they did there. The original was a really fun car from that era.
Digging the design tho
Wow this was one of the funniest review of yours! I've let out a loud laugh a couple times 😂
Might wanna get a genetic family mental health evaluation bud.
@@Jordanfiend361 "and you can stick... 4 baguels in there!"
When he said “your just gonna bust cream all over the back interior” I lost it 😭
I've been driving a Dodge Dart for 9 years now and it's been a pretty good car. I was thinking maybe in a couple years of getting a new car like a Charger or a Challenger but they're being discontinued just like the Dart. Most sedans are being discontinued. I think SUV's are being influenced because they use more gas and more people want big cars. Chargers, I've heard have been big targets for carjackers and car thieves, 2 criminals that are on the rise lately. So I have put the Dodge Hornet on my list of considerations.
I've been told to stay away from brands like Mitsubishi, Volks Wagon, Hyundai, Kai and Infiniti. Also to avoid Hybrids, Ford Pickups and Jeep Grand Cherokees as they've been targets for car theft a lot. I also don't like the new low priced Teslas because that crease in their front bumper makes it look like something was supposed to be put there but never was. Also, I've heard Teslas don't have good driving ranges.
My Dart has convinced me that Dodge is a good brand. There are other good brands like Ford, Toyota, Chevy, Honda, Mazda, Chrysler and Lexus. Pontiac, Saturn and Mercury were all good brands too. I can't believe they're gone.
Hi Joe, cool video of a Dodge Hornet GLH I think it's a dandy.
That color combo is hot, I really want to like this - but some guy on TikTok who reviews and tests out all CUV's/SUV's was testing the AWD system and the car completely shut down, every dash light came on, they tried to reboot the car but nothing would make the transmission engage, it's....worrying. I want to see Dodge make a good comeback, and FCA/Stellantis quality shenanigans be a thing of the past.
Saw that too don’t know dude name but the dash lit up like a candle
This is a really nice looking vehicle
I was looking for you at the NYC auto show! lolol sad I missed ya!
Maybe next year Morgan.
YAY Double Upload
I really hate to admit liking another crossover, but wow this is nice. I really wanna see one of these lowered.
Joe filmed 20 reviews in one day and left nyc lol
Pretty much spot on!
@@RaitisRides what about the fans lol you’re a celeb in car biz
That's the best new vehicle available absolutely. 💯
Seeing raiti walk around this makes it look so small😂
Are those hood vents fully open or is it a bellybutton sized hole like the regular RT version of this ve-hickle has 💯👀
Awesome vehicle!! I might afford it friend.
The ONLY thing that worries me about this car is when you add the sunroof, how much is it gonna cut into the clearance up top....
I like it but I don’t know about if it would be a top choice for me but if it’s for someone else then that’s amazing.
I kind of wanted the new Hornet to be a replacement for the Dodge Dart and make it like a compact sports sedan or compact muscle car even.
Stellantis is doing what GM did in the 90s with their brands!
Looks awesome
Good work 👍
Rim model look like good as buick cascade 2015/2016, nais
I really like those wheels!
It looks good! I dont understand all the haters. Good Job Dodge!
We hate the fact that it's really not a Didge , it's a rebadged alfa...
Very optimistic comment about the Kona N 🥺. Thought I read they were doing away from the Kona N due to its size increase and the push to make EV models, Believe the Elantra n would be the only gas N model left as they release the Ioniq 5 N and 6 N.
Awesome content 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 thanks Joe & Lori!!!
I went to the local stealership to drive the first GT they received.
One word…uninspiring. 🐌🐌
Upon closer look it appears to be a reincarnation of the Dodge Dart. They are asking for an additional $2k for the “privilege” to purchase. Hard pass. They tried to sting me in the… 😂😂😂
Wow, this car looks amazing! I did go back and watch the video about the Hornet R/T. Price tag is steep and I’m in the market for a small SUV. I’m still wondering if this can be stolen easily like so many Chargers, Challengers, Rams, Durangos. I was kind of lost at plug-in hybrid part. I am a dodge person and enjoy my 2013 challenger SRT 6-speed.
I would probably just look at a lower model that doesn’t have a hybrid power train on it.
stop by your local dealer for more info. hybrids are easy to drive and change to gas mode. im looking at the 2.0, I'm not sure about a 1.3l engine.
If you want a GLH, I would suggest a GT with the GLH package. The 2.0 gas has more potential for tuning than a 1.3 3cylinder…and you’ll save close to 10k going that route. It’s a really small car in person so spending anything close to or over 40k on it would be ridiculous. Stay in the 30s and you won't be ripped off as much. Goodluck...you're gonna need it lol
@@jp18794 the 1.3L turbo sounds like a grenade your engine speed run.
Bmw x1 if ur gonna spend around this price, might aswell get something german instead
@@undertow42o hell no lol only lease German 😅
Just a tip...when reviewing the front end...at that time mention the engine along with power levels and fuel efficiency
I think the red stripe need to be on both side of the hood I'm loving the wheels I think handles should be black to go with the roof and area near the wheels that black I'm loving the seats the colour is beautiful I love red pedals I'm loving there pockets not netting 👍(. I'd love a red steering wheel)
Perfect
Joe I just love your surprises.
Son YOUS is PREBOOP for Sunday.
@Eric Brett Ericball you lucky duck
It looks good
This is cool but can you also make a video about small compact SUV like for examples Chevy trailblazers the 2023 or even better 2024 and test drive if you can.
Let’s be honest the main thing everyone wants to know is what are the numbers lol
Dodge did a great job with the hornet, I feel like it will sell very well
You'll see tons of them in salvage auctions as well
The Hornet is in a category full of competition including Stellantis own Alfa Romero Tonale. Stellantis wanted to create a Dodge performance compact SUV. At introduction the starting MSRP for the GT model was $29,995 that increased to $31,590. The GT Plus $36,490. The RT version $41,590. The RT plus $46,490. Additional Options like the $2995 Track Pack. $2295 Tech Pack. $1995 Track Pack. $4900 Plus Package. A fully loaded RT Plus will push the Hornet to $53,000. The GLH has yet to be priced, but I'm guessing around $50,000 plus options. With these prices. I don't see the Hornet being a high volume seller.
I want one
Are they planning on doing a 392 and hellcat model?
What's autocross? Do I need a GLH to do it?
Muscle car SUV ? Only the on throttle will tell us 😎
Not the biggest fan of the race stripes but everything else looks pretty good.
Trying to please both the American Crossover/SUV market and those who like thrilling/fun cars and muscle cars, and is it me or does it fail at both? Absolutely not a bad car at all, but I don’t expect to see too many on the road, like, not Jeep Wagoneer amounts of many on the road.
Those who are in the market for Crossovers and SUVs will get something more practical and efficient, and those looking for a fun time will obviously get more proper sport and muscle cars.
Ok, I’m not a big Dodge fan but this GLH shows a lot of potential being an AWD PHEV!
Interesting design.
Awesome
I really like this one
If anyone is thinking of getting one of these, I'd recommend checking out TFL's video on the slip test for this car. These are gonna be a major headache for anyone buying them.
I did, I disagree, I still love it
@@ragingtyga enjoy your Christmas tree of dash lights and endless recalls
@@ragingtyga I don't care either as I really like the Hornet!

As PT Barnum once said " A sucker is born every minute"...lol
It's was a pre production vehicle...It will be fixed before it hits the streets Einstein
Nice looking suv.
Anybody have an idea what the GLH is gonna go for?
Is dodge durango hellcat muscle suv? And the trackhawk?
All wheel drive... Nice
all i wanna know is where is that one dart glh that they almost came out with
“Bust cream”😳
“Goes like hell” that’s the craziest thing I heard on a car from the manufacturer lmao
Stellantis is smart, putting the name Dodge on this Alfa Romeo Tonale. These Dodge Hornets aren't even made in America. They are Italian cars made in Italy. Smart move but definitely not for me. I always love your reviews!
I LOVE it!❤❤❤❤❤🥰
Throwin down a like and a comment for the channel!
I do like how the GLH Hornets look
People buy crossovers for practicality and good mpg...not to go like hell...this will fizzle out I think...but good review as usual.
Very nice ❤
This maybe late to the game of a crowded segment but going sporty with it instead of rugged makes sense. I think it looks good and is a good signal of where Dodge wants to go. Idk if I would consider one (I am looking at a Crosstrek) but I am glad to see this exist.
I like the look but it's just an alfa Romeo tonale with a hornet badge on it and it's built in Naples italy
🔥🔥🔥
The Dodge Hornet is a pretty cool SUV and doesn't deserve all the hate it's getting right now
The GLH version is my favorite looks wise. I'm waiting on the performance numbers.
Killer looking vehicle. Excellent image quality as always Joe and Lori 💯

Nice
Get your box of Twinkies and a bottle of Yoo-Hoo, we’re going for a ride! Just don’t bust cream. 😏
Love that black and white color scheme! The GLH is easily the best looking of the hornets. 🐝 Definitely putting it on my short list for a next vehicle.
