Thanks for the demonstration. Do you do prepare the mold before adding the liquid?

Hi! No the silicone is great for not sticking so the plaster pops right out! 😁

Hi! Hmm I'm trying to visualize your project! It sounds awesome! 😁 Plaster is very light weight so it might now work if you are looking for a heavy base to hold something up. Did you want to send me a visual of your trees or a drawing and I might be able to help think of a different base? Are you able to glue the trees to something?

Did you ever do a painting on the diamond shape? I love the shape but as a newbie can't think how dotting on all the facets would turn out

Hi Sheila, haha not yet! I am having the same dilemma as to how to paint it well with a unique design, if I paint it I will let you know 😊

If you want to put them outside in your garden wont the rain make them deteriorate ? Would putting cement in them instead keep them solid.?

    • @KellyTheresa

Hi Shelli, you could use cement but you may have a rougher surface to work on. Typically if I'm putting these outside I coat them with a layer of resin after I finish painting them this gives it weather protection 😊

Hi! I haven't done it but I would think they are a very similar gypsum type product and might work 😊 sounds like a great experiment! 😉😁
