- Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi said that that the “historical injustice suffered by the Palestinian people” lies at the root of the conflict between Israel and Palestinians.
He also emphasised that Palestinians have the right to statehood, as Israelis have.
Yi made the comments while meeting with Josep Borrell, the EU high representative for foreign affairs, in Beijing on Friday.

Singapore's foreign policy is limited by its geographical environment. Singapore is too reliant on military assistance from Israel and the United States. Actually, I can understand. Singapore has had a lot of great leaders too. Their wisdom is admired by Chinese people and even leaders. Unfortunately they can't speak freely as they wish in geopolitical matters, similar to their colleagues in many other small countries. Courage comes from strength sometimes. I admire the Chinese Foreign Minister who knew and understood the predicament of the Palestinians where Israel landed on their lap but were the ones who lost their own lands allocated for them.
Right like them and every Muslim around them didn't literally try to drive them all into the sea yes all of them women and children included. Then they were defeated by a much smaller more organized force the Israelis. Then in the early 60s were offered 80% of the land leaving 20% to the Jewish people of Israel being non industrialized arid desert regions.
