I'm 82....been married for 61 years; ( probation will be over soon ). I've heard it all: American Big Bands and crooners, Charlie Parker, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis,Frank Sinatra, Bill Haley, Elvis Presley, the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Heavy Metal, Michael Jackson............but this stuff and many tracks like it is just plain exciting. I stick my headphones on, sit back, turn the volume to Eleven or more, and suddenly I'm 20 again; writhing and rocking, reeling and rolling, all pains gone, C19 fades, ear drums imploding.....I'm in heaven! Tip: Ensure you've been married for at least 60 years to experience what I have in the music world.......it's not hard. Tip 2: use 2 metre speakers, and play Vapours by Hot Since 82, ( Alex Mills)......it's what bass speakers were invented for...sen-sational!

@Sustainable Routes, It's 4.30am right now on July 17th 2020. Furloughed from work for nearly 4 months and NOW they say they want us to wear masks in shops! Even Tony Fauci said it wasn't necessary and he's behind the coverup. This banging tune reminds me; I still need to see Trainspotting 2. I hope it doesn't disappoint. I still remember when 1 came out and it was all the rave so I deliberately avoided it like Pulp Fiction. I got sick of hearing Quentin Tarantino's name. Both ended up being epic movies worthy of all the praise. I'm a natural contrarian, as by definition, most people are not in the top 1% in intelligence and therefore are usually misguided by those 1% or less for fun and profit. Same with 28 weeks later also starring Robert Carlyle that I finally bought on DVD a week ago and haven't watched. Too busy in survival mode planning for future potentials, buying land and going off grid etc. Been planning it for years but the U.K. stamp duty window until March 31st 2021 is a good deadline to aim at to sell the house by.
Currently waiting for Coinbase Pro to let me send some cash to my bank account. They're taking hours. Even Bitcoin is centralised if you can't withdraw it from an exchange. Timing is everything.

A few billion years of life on earth, a few hundred-thousand years of humans, a few thousand years of written human culture, a few hundred years of science and technology, and it all culminates with thousands of people standing in a field dancing to Born Slippy. I think we can recognise this as a key achievement for life on earth.

I fricken hate phones. Hate what 'smartphones' have done to society. I'd go back in a heartbeat if I could. Sure if someone asked me, id say yeah I remember my youth in the 90s and early 2000s... But listening to this is a whole nother level....flashes of the bus we'd catch to the nightclub district, could smell the mixed fragrance of my ex boyfriends aftershave, lynx body spray and sweat. Images of my necklaces and rings I always wore n never took off, but 🤷 don't have now? My prodigy CD with cracked cover. Getting ready to go out in the bathroom of the house I grew up in.like I was there for a flash of a second. Those little tiny butterfly hair clips that held up my sooo fashionable 20 spiky hair twists 😆 ....makeup was just covergirl spot concealer, one colour eyeshadow, mascara n scratchy pencil eyeliner, tinted scented lip balm- Bonne belle watermelon lip smackers tube, or body shop kiwifruit. Could smell the pot of bright metallic silver Napoleon Perdis sweatproof eyeshadow balm- it was the best! I constantly flogged it from my sister- silver eyeshadow was THE eyeshadow colour that defined the era, I always thought I'd got away with it then I'd forget to wipe off before I got home and she'd see me n go off her bloody head -TRiGgEreD- AF 😹 ...can't believe what just happened wow! really connected me to that time and space, now Im swamped with a flood of sadness how shite and changed for the worse the world really is.

I was 7 when Trainspotting came out and live in Glasgow, I don't remember much of it when it first came out but when you hear this you instantly remember the whole film and seeing adverts for it and everything talking about it back then.

That's true, whenever I listen to this song, the first thing that comes to my mind is that movie.

I don't think Trainspotting is very suitable movie for a 7 year old. Oh you're from Glasgow, never mind then. :)

    Iconic!
    Drive boy dive boy
    Dirty numb angel boy
    In the doorway boy
    She was a lipstick boy
    She was a beautiful boy
    And tears boy
And all in your inner space boy
    You had
    Hand girls boy
    And steel boy
    You had chemicals boy
I've grown so close to you
Boy and you just groan boy
She said come over come over
    She smiled at you boy
    Drive boy dive boy
    Dirty numb angel boy
    In the doorway boy
    She was a lipstick boy
    She was a beautiful boy
    And tears boy
And all in your inner space boy
    You had
    Hand girls boy
    And steel boy
    You had chemicals boy
I've grown so close to you
Boy and you just groan boy
She said come over come over
    She smiled at you boy.
    Let your feelings slip boy
    But never your mask boy
Random blonde bio high density random
Blonde boy blonde country blonde high density
    You are my drug boy
    You're real boy
Speak to me and boy dog
    Dirty numb cracking boy
    You geting wet boy
    Big big time boy
    Acid bear boy
Babes and babes and babes and babes and babes
    And remembering nothing boy
You like my tear hole boy
It gets Wet like an angel
    Derailed
    You got a velvet mouth
    You're so succulent and beautiful
    Shimmering and dirty
    Wonderful and hot times
    On your telephone line
    And god and everything
    On your telephone
    And in walks an angel
    And look at me mum
    Squatting pissed in a tube-
    Hole at Tottenham Court Road
I just come out of The Ship
    Talking to the most
    Blonde I ever met
    Shouting
    Lager lager lager lager
    Shouting
    Lager lager lager lager
    Shouting...
    Lager lager lager
    Shouting
    Mega mega white thing
    Mega mega white thing
    Mega mega white thing
    Mega mega
    Shouting lager lager lager lager
    Mega mega white thing
    Mega mega white thing
So many things to see and do
    In the tube hole true
    Blonde going back to Romford
Mega mega mega going back to Romford
How am I at having fun
I know why you're on your way
    To a new tension
    Headache
