Just wanted to compliment you on your work. Very little I would change, and I completely understand going with Honda over KTM... I enjoy reliability and not spending my limited time wrenching. Saved your video to my favorites as I am looking to buy a CRF300L Rally and will refer to your build for parts suppliers. Again, great build and video, many thanks!
You basically bought a 250L and replaced around 70% of the parts 🤣😂🤣 that became expensive. All it matters is you like it and got it exactly how you wanted. Great looking bike, congratulations. 👍👍👍
Yes I know 🤣and I debated doing this or buying a KTM. The Honda is a very reliable bike and the KTM does have better performance but needs much more expensive service. So in the end I chose the reliability and less maintenance over the performance. But I am happy with my decision everyone has to chose what is best for them. Thanks for watching👍
Great video sir, I have the 2020 model it's just great as is apart from the rear shock, I had mad a polyurethane spacer and it helped a lot. your bike looks totally awesome love it. I'm in Australia watching. enjoy sir.
Hey. Wow, the 250L really looks a lot better compared to the stock, I just bought my own 250L (2015 model) 2nd hand with low milage on and planning to do a few things on it as well. I also come from a KTM as well (2012 990 ADV), just too expensive in maintaining at the moment but will get me another KTM later. Been a Honda guy since I started riding bikes, first Honda was a CRF 250X. I wanted to know what are the upgrades you did to your suspension? With how much did you lift it from the standard suspension, front and rear? I'm 1.90m tall so that would help a lot upgrading the suspension. And how much did it cost you to upgrade the front and rear? Much appreciated, thanks.
Hello and thank you for the complements. The suspension is Race Tech front and rear. If you call them to order they will custom build according to your size, ridding style and so on. And on the front is an amazing difference as stock only has a spring on one side.. So the front got a second spring and new valve setup. Call the folks at Race Tech and they will hook you up. It was about $900 but the best improvement to the bikes handling abilities.
Sorry but I have done a lot of single track riding . I've had this bike so covered in mud you couldn't even see the color. I keep it very clean but I make sure it is not a street queen
Hey there, this bike is just gorgeous. I’m starting to extra up my bike too, i was thinking a lot and decided I don’t very need the 300l as it’s not such a huge upgrade and I love my 250l in fact. Can I ask where did you get those red screws what you placed in the holes of the stock mud protector for the chains? Looking forward for more videos from you
What brand are the front and rear turn signal kits? I know the rear is part of the fender tidy kits but just wondering where u got them. I am picking up my new 250L on Saturday 3/6. This is gonna be first mod is the turn signal kits. Thx
I have a 2018 CRF250L and it's a good bike, but I would never spend that much money on upgrades for it. Completely defeats the reason for buying that bike. BEST BANG FOR YOUR DOLLAR! With the money you've spent you could have bought a much better bike that would also be much better for resale. Just my opinion. Looks great though!
I agree. You can probably get a used 450L for that price (if you find one). But if he's going to keep it for a long time and enjoys all the mods, I guess it's worth it.
From your prospective you are correct. But I am 55 and have back problems. At this point a 450 is more than I want, I wanted a Honda for reliability but stock they are not great. So with all the upgrades and made it look good and have a lot of fun ridding. Trust me it is not always this clean. And I don't plan on selling it so I'm not worried about resale I would never get my money back! I just built a bike that was good for me and its perfect for me I love it. Build what you like and ride it like you stole it.
@@westreamlive2u826 That’s what it’s all about man! You have to create something that fits and makes you feel comfortable, especially out in the wilderness. The 250L is a reliable proven platform with low service intervals. This is why they are so popular! I’m glad you are enjoying every piece and doing this kind of riding in your 50’s! 🤘
Beautiful, you enjoyed what you have. Passion and love. Great bike
Thank you much
Very clean build i love the carbon fibre cover on the mega bomb 💣
Thank you got it on ebay it was made in England

Nicest one ive seen so far, very tasteful mods and much more dirt worthy
Yes for off road you need tires, skid plate, front and rear shocks, and change sprockets. I run Renthal 13/42 lots of power!
That's probably the best looking I ever saw, I'll get my 2013 model next week, can't wait to modify it.
Good luck have fun make sure to torque everything to speck you don't want parts getting loose
Great looking bike ! Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks for watching
the bike looks insane, you made it a real machine 😀
Thanks
Lookin Good!
Thank you. Love your channel

Super nice. But I'd bet serious money that this bike never sees or will be on a true single track extreme back country trail.

Looks great. Lots of mods
Thanks

Thank you
Please tell us roughly how much you paid for all the mods, please.
Thats a tough question since is was done over time. But a guess would be $3500-$4000
@@westreamlive2u826 Thank you.
Can you post a list with links? Great looking build!

I did not see it for that one
Alll the money you spent on up grades you could have taken a lot of trips and got a little dirt on that bike
The bike is always dirty but I just clean it very good
