Thanks. The weather isn't great in the UK right now, so this definitely encourages me to do more stuff for RUclips. Good luck with your purchase - it's a great little bike!
Nicely done Shem, appreciate the effort you’ve put in. For me personally, weight isn’t a huge issue, but the lower weight of the larger tank is a nice bonus.
Thanks! Yes, CRF250L is pretty light in comparison midweight adventure bikes, so weight is definitely not a big issue here. I did it because I was curious how much I could save without going with extreme stuff like titanium bolts. It also makes me feel better about adding extra weight like Barkbusters, Skid Plate, etc. But I agree, even with 9.5kg weight saving, you're not going to be able to strap the bike to you backpack and carry it up the gnarly trail ;).

Nice video! The Zeta Triple Clamp kit will help shave some more weight and also looks better.
Good idea, not a cheap option though!
This was amazing and convinced to buy the CRF300!

How about rims, wheels, tires, chain and cog wheels? Can these not swapped to reduce the weight even more? Thanks!
Great video!!!!!
Thanks!
