Great little edit there Northern Pickers and that camera produces some nice sharp images, the close up shots look great too. It clearly shows the how the gold looks in the pan against all the other materials. You're right about it being a long day ! I was pretty shattered
Too long Mr Daz!! but ever worth it mate. was a good day just to be out & luckily not get soaked lol. some nice pieces to show for all the hard effort & cost. its got to be a further reaching test spot next & try to find the sources

You’re an absolute legend in our house! And we love your dog too. I took my 12 year old son to Tyndrum the weekend just gone and we did find gold there. We have one weekend left this year and are thinking of going to Leadhills. If you could give us a couple of sneaky pointers I’d really appreciate it, and it would make my boy very happy 👍🏻

One way to separate the really fine stuff from anything else thats mingled as gold is hydrophobic. And as you get the gold floating you use the floating gold to pull more off the bottom of the pan and snuffer up the clumps of floating gold. Strikes me as 1 way of separation??
Thanks slot's, have been struggling to find a way to sort the minerals out. at some point im gonna have to get a small furness of ebay & do a melt down. got that much to go through it seems the quickest way
