it hasn't been remade because Sony only cares about like 3 IPs...hell they haven't really touched any of their RPG IPs since the PS2 died off. Legend of Dragoon, Legaia, Wild Arms, Rogue Galaxy, even Everquest.... :(
My dad had the two towers and return of the king game and it took him forever to get to the Gollum fight in the volcano and then my little brother saved over his game like he LOVED to do so many times and he rage quit never played a game after that cause he didn’t trust us kids not to save over it 😅

I was going to make a similar comment to this. I played the game 2 months ago, and it is definitely a game that would benefit from a remake. From some of the enemy design, to the story, to the condensed second disc, I really hope it happens one day.
I totally agree with Mega Man Legends. I’d love to play it again. I’d like to see a Vagrant Story and Legend of Dragoon remake. There are so many great RPG’s from the PS1, but those two especially would be great to see make a return. I think it would be cool to see a Gauntlet Legends remake as well.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is the game I really want a remake. With an extra story where you can play the game from Xion’s point of view. Also the original 3 SSX games

Completely agree with the King's Field pick. My dad and I loved these games and played them together. Personally I'd love to see a Director's Cut Remaster of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. The original development process for the game was compromised by a number of legal disputes and other issues that resulted in an unfinished retail release. Much of the game's content and story were cut or altered in the final version. I want the version of the game that the developers originally intended to release from the beginning, with all the graphical and gameplay enhancements that would come with a modern remaster.
My personal pick for a remake is definitely Sonic Adventure, though I also like the suggestion of Jet Set Radio, maybe Crazy Taxi too? In Crazy Taxi 3 the city was kinda remade with a few new areas to explore, I really liked that, a proper full on remake would be awesome.
I'd really love to see a remake of FEAR, the AI in that game is still probably better than 90 percent of the games out, even today! And the environment destruction 😱
A Tomb Raider 1 Remake for the PS5 would be awesome Or an Ape Escape Remake for PS5 would be awesome too. (I am fully aware that we already got a TR 1 Remake way back in 2007, but even that game has aged a bit since. What I mean here is it using the same engine and graphics as 2018's Shadow of the Tomb Raider would be what I would want).
What games I would like to get are Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past, Final Fantasy I and/or Final Fantasy IV in 3D, the PS1 Tenchus, the Bushido Blades, Parasite Eves and Xenogears since the original was an incomplete game. I look forward to this new MGS1 Remake. I wasn't entirely satisfied with The Twin Snakes Version, it wasn't good enough! I like it, but there's something wrong with it: The visual looks dark compared to the Original and MGS2 that I can barely see. Some of the glitches kill the game: The camera near the stairs in the tank hangar always spot you no matter what you do, except if you use Chaff and if you get spotted even once you always get Alert 3 times, even if you Reset the game or die and exit. And some of the cutscenes are ruined: the Original cutscene with the tower bridge was dramatic. After the bridge gets destroyed the Hind appears and Snake runs toward the handrail where you're supposed to use the Rope, but in Twin Snakes after the bridged is destroyed a metal debris flies towards Snake, Snake chucks a Grenade at it, WALK TOWARDS the handrail where you're supposed to use the Rope, the Hind appears and there's NO MORE DRAMATIC RUNNING! And in the cutscene where Gray Fox dies, why does Snake scream his name before he gets crushed? And I would like to see an MGS3 Remake on both Consoles AND PC as well as a 60 FPS Remaster of MGS4 on again Modern Consoles AND PC. And probably Peace Walker on Nintendo Switch and PC?

I'd really like a remake of Morrowind. It's a fantastic game that revolutionized the Elder Scrolls franchise and was influential in the industry as a whole, but it hasn't aged too well. A lot of new players just see what's on the surface and give up.

The very first Devil May Cry, would be amazing to experience with 5's framework and 'modern' QoL enhancements I think the atmosphere and 'Souls precursor elements, would resonate with a lot of today's melee combat audicence.
Resident Evil Zero. Make it open-world set in the Arkley Woods with Rebecca Chambers doing missions for Bravo Team while dodging zombies would be great.
Mario 64 does have a Remake on the DS, which was an almost complete graphical and control overhaul. It's basically the definitive version (although still outdated). Although, if they took the DS version, give it the graphics and controls similar to Mario Odyssey, then it would probably be a best seller. Plus, while the DS version is largely forgotten, this would put it back on the spotlight.

Great video again DaveControl. I personally would take a remake of MG1+2, over a remake of MGS. I feel that remaking the first 2, as a single game, would give fans the chance to play them. As someone without a PC, they dont feel accessible. It would also be an opportunity to iron out a lot of lore, and then just dont touch it lol. Make different Metal Gear, but not Solid lol I also needs me a remaster/port of FFT: War if the Lions. Contentious point, but in believe it carried the same message as MGS2, but honestly better. And I'm a HUGE MGS fan, I even originally liked Raiden :P Also I would love Igavanias on consoles. The rumored Castlevania Advance Collection is like hopes for a lost part of my childhood.

As a fan of RPGs, I'd like to see Skies of Arcadia remastered. I own the GC Legends port, but it's been 20 years. I think a multi-platform remaster for modern systems would be great. Even just a PC or switch re-release would be good. Especially if the developer could reintegrate the VMU minigame as a linked cell phone app... though that would be more important for other DC titles. Certainly a PC release could have it added in as a separate included program, like FF8 did with chocobo world on it's initial PC release.

I personally would take a remake of MG1+2, over a remake of MGS. I feel that remaking the first 2, as a single game, would give fans the chance to play them. As someone without a PC, they dont feel accessible. It would also be an opportunity to iron out a lot of lore, and then just dont touch it lol. Make different Metal Gear, but not Solid lol
I also needs me a remaster/port of FFT: War if the Lions. Contentious point, but in believe it carried the same message as MGS2, but honestly better. And I'm a HUGE MGS fan, I even originally liked Raiden :P
Also I would love Igavanias on consoles. The rumored Castlevania Advance Collection is like hopes for a lost part of my childhood.
It would be sick to see MG1+2 remade in the style of the solid series. Or get the Bionic Commando treatment.
I love FF Tactics, but that’s one of those games I’m not sure how a remake/remaster would boost it. Maybe something like the Advance Wars remaster?

As a fan of RPGs, I'd like to see Skies of Arcadia remastered. I own the GC Legends port, but it's been 20 years. I think a multi-platform remaster for modern systems would be great. Even just a PC or switch re-release would be good.
Especially if the developer could reintegrate the VMU minigame as a linked cell phone app... though that would be more important for other DC titles. Certainly a PC release could have it added in as a separate included program, like FF8 did with chocobo world on it's initial PC release.

I know a bunch of the original team is now working on the spiritual successor Eiyuden Chronicle, but I would still love to get a remake or remaster of the Suikoden games. I would even take a simple collection on modern consoles.

I have a bad feeling about a Deadspace remake. Especially since EA shutdown the original creators of the franchise, and are handing this IP off to a different studio who have no prior knowledge of horror as a medium let alone horror games.

I know a lot of people didn't like it, but I had fun playing it..... but also having fun rubbing my older brother's face in the fact that I got further than he EVER could on that game. 🤣😂🤣😂...... But I do remember an old army game that was pretty fun to play called Army Men Sarge's Heroes 2. I also remember an old horror game that someone is currently making a fan-made remastered version: Shadow Man. A remaster or a remake, I'd be happy with either. Lol

To be honest, after the last Secret of Mana remaster, I’m a little afraid of how another one would turn out.
