- The tool that we have made this time is very useful as using it we can bend metal sheets and create corners without using heavy equipment like the hydraulic sheet metal bender. Needless to say that we cannot use it to bend thick sheets but we can easily move it and take it to our outdoor activities.

Spiral taps, has got to be the greatest engineered device known to man. Got to love those things. 👍
I am so impressed with how far your skills have developed over the years. This has to be one of the more complex designs yet, bloody good work. :)
Possibly mine too but detorati god.what awarrful mistake in few days usability living
The lathe is truly the prince of all machines, you can do almost anything on them! Well done!
Yes, do someone have the reference of the lathe please ?
At first, I wondered why he was using the lathe to face the Aluminium, instead of milling it- it all became apparent very quickly. Just a pleasure to watch him at work!
A Lathe is the only machine that you can use to build itself.
sorry, but this tool (as it is amazingly crafted) is art for just an art....
That might be true. It can be used for thing already attached.
Yeah I saw a build that a guy made his lathe machine literally from scratch
@@isleofmann1088 you mean homemade madness?
Is that a issue?
A heavily engraved hammer works the same as a crude one but is still nicer to own and view.
Sometimes it's nice to take that extra ornamental step
Anyone who doesn't think metalworking is an art, can eat swarff out of the chip pan and lick slag off of the floor. They can drink some cutting oil if they get thirsty.
Let me say that whoever put this video together is very talented indeed! This is a very fun video to watch! The pacing, the content presentation, the music, lighting, everything was excellent and absolutely pleasurable to watch! Keep this kind of thing going and you will be creating content for television and movies!
The machining of that angled part was bloody brilliant.
The boring head held in the chuck is genius
I watch these projects knowing I will never make. Yet always impressed by your work.
I don't know anything about machining, but I do know that camerawork like this I have never seen on RUclips. Great job!
It's very nice)

Hot Damn all your work is Amazing. I shared one of your videos to my son which encouraged his son to take up machining and fabrication as an apprentice. Thank you for showing the way. 🙏😎
This type of lathe machine processing possibly secures my taste buds for my Diy hobbyist jobs traditional living means...i hope hopefully hoping for that success... good
Comparing this to modern commercially available roller benders, it's plain to see that this design isn't quite there.
However, it was definitely a brave try. Hopefully, you'll get it spot on in version 2 or 3.
I greatly appreciate you being brave enough to try, then sharing your successes and failures with us!
Some day I want to get close to the production quality of your videos, amazing work, keep it up.

Beatiful 👍
Thank you for your contribution to the evolution of life.
Very inventive use of the lathe for some of those steps.
Loved that radius turner.
Beautiful looking product, shame about its function not producing crisp bends.
Amazing how many operations you can do with only one lathe. Great technological process, thanks!
A good tool, a lot of time spent on manufacturing. But this tool is not often needed.. I am from Russia and I really like your content. class
for hard work and respect.
Very impressed with your machining and videography, even if the end result seems a bit lacking. Maybe an adjustable opposing vee roller for the back side of the bend as a follow up project?
He has high quality in machining but,the bending results is terrible.
Very nice Tool Build. Although you can buy this type of Tool, you'd miss out on the fun of making it. Thanks for sharing your Skills and Knowledge with me.
Very very good
Your job bring peaceful, and makes us want to watch more and more. Congratulate very well done.
Make it Extreme, thank you for all your sharing.
I really do appreciate the skill that went into making this... awesome talents there, but was disappointed in the quality of the bend in the sheet metal. It seems to my mind that there should be a corresponding male & female Vee rollers with an adjustable clearance between those. Will I make one? Probably not. 😀
english wheel meets bead roller.. all it needs is can opener and you could make gutters allday.. now how convenient is a bend around a radius gonna be !!
Very professional and fine job. Lovely.
I'm from Brazil, your videos enchant me thank you for posting your work.
Amazing workpiece guys thanks 🙏
Very cool how you managed to angle the ends with a boring bar! 1st time I’ve ever seen that.
jaw dropping video aswell as a jaw dropping craftsmanship...
good editing videos
About 1:42 moment:
One Odessa turner-metalworker says the phrase "like a plum in the ass", meaning that the parts fit together exactly. XD
Good job, nice to see you! Good luck with your projects.
My goodness... You have RE_INVENTED The English Wheel! You're a genius! I wish I still had a workshop. btw You need to Treat yourself to A Plasma Cutter!!! beats grinding for hours - changing discs etc!
Some piece of work there guys.
The production of you’re videos is top notch! Keep it up.
Take care.
Pretty interesting project, dude! 😃
Fantastic how it works!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
the best perfekt profeshional
Great videos!! Love your channel
Great job, thank you brother. You are so talented
That was brilliantly executed lath acrobatics
awesome build. everytime i watch one of yalls videos just wish it would be alittle more on the teaching side. the skill that you have with maching is awesome. but no matter what i'm gonna keep on watching for the entertainment value. keep em coming and i'll keep on watching. this is one of the best youtube channels
It just keeps getting Better and Better !!! Another Incredible Build .......
oooh, a manual bender. Interesting idea.
really nice brother
He got skills!
Very Nice Presentation with Excellent quality of work. Thank you so much 💐💐✍️👌👌👍👍
I had a zero clue what was being built until 18:50 😂 Great build and beautiful tool!
i want to say that soo "extrem" beautifull details, nice angle vid shot, extrem satisfying vid...great job...i love it... 👍🏻
That looks like an award
Ok, This is one of your best videos, I've really enjoyed watching it. Keep on the good work ...
A handheld english wheel...great!
:-D
so much work for such poor quality bend
Consider the learning curve. It takes time and experience to learn how sheet metal behaves.
Well bending by hand always takes time and results vary greatly. At least the time amount and the results are always consistent with the device.
For avtomatics line
Another amazing project thank you
Nice build! This will surely get you out off a pinch.
Simply.....................W O N D E R F U L !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Nice work, especially the creative use of the boring head for creating that angled part on the shaft.
I just wonder, how can you adjust for different sheet thicknesses? By rotating the angled piece?
Milling is always relaxing to see and knownig the next part to come next.
Very well Done... AGAIN
Beautiful bender. We shared this video in our homemade tools forum this week :)
I had no idea what it was for until the end. I still don't really. A metal folder would do the same but better. What am I missing here ?
Very good job well done my friend
I've never seen a six jaw used like this! And I'm not sure why more people don't face material down on the lathe rather than milling. Your results are fantastic!
It's just quicker, easier and more precise to face something down with the mill and face cutter. Using a lathe like that is more about improvise
That’s it! I’m throwing away my Bridgeport!
That's super impressive.
That was a lot of work for something that seems less extreme than a panbrake folder, that's also a lot slower and less accurate to use too.
need a little bit of tools to do the same piece but it's a good idea for who had a great workshop
Excellent worker
Edge Bending okay should be Sharp bend not a round
Very good thank you
incredible👏
Nice one, some good music for a change too.
goin hard wake flocka flame
Very nice. I like it.
What grit sandpaper did you use to get that finish?
Great video such a crafted tool be engineered thank you for sharing 😊
Impressively awesome!
Amazing job!
I loved the whole process of making it, but at last the demo clip reminded my of Khaby Lame.
OMG! What a great job. I have never seen machining skills on this level before. What do I do to acquire such skills?
Give this man a CNC and he will build a rocketship
good
Good job 👌
I think it might work if instead of a stack up of bearings, you used a hard material roller with a bearing in each end. The bearings have a little bit of play, they have to to function. This is happening unequally across the bearings due to variations in leverage. A single roller can take up this slack and act as a single unit. If you made a shallow v groove in the roller directly even with the tapered roller, it would help to maintain a very straight line
Nice work!
🇩🇪
Sehr gute Arbeit, TOP👍
Sausage fingers can do some fine fabricating.
🐻 thought you were going to cut the poor bear's ear's off! 😁 🐼
For a crude tool, amazing. Will last a long damn time. Does some rough bends, probably as heavy as a simple wood based bender though seems to do the bends inside out, bends seem not very sharp, also tool lacks tension adjustment and a "v groove" roller on the other end for sharper bends.
mastery in handling tools, excellent finishes
