  • The tool that we have made this time is very useful as using it we can bend metal sheets and create corners without using heavy equipment like the hydraulic sheet metal bender. Needless to say that we cannot use it to bend thick sheets but we can easily move it and take it to our outdoor activities.

I think it might work if instead of a stack up of bearings, you used a hard material roller with a bearing in each end. The bearings have a little bit of play, they have to to function. This is happening unequally across the bearings due to variations in leverage. A single roller can take up this slack and act as a single unit. If you made a shallow v groove in the roller directly even with the tapered roller, it would help to maintain a very straight line

For a crude tool, amazing. Will last a long damn time. Does some rough bends, probably as heavy as a simple wood based bender though seems to do the bends inside out, bends seem not very sharp, also tool lacks tension adjustment and a "v groove" roller on the other end for sharper bends.
