Someone pointed out that part of Vi's hesitation at the end of the fight in episode 3 is because Vi realised she was going to repeat what happened to her. If she'd killed Jinx, (as an enforcer), she would have left behind a devastated and orphaned child, exactly like what happened to her and Powder when enforcers killed their parents.
One story detail someone pointed out was that the councilroom isn't accessible for disabled people. You see an emphasis on this with solums wheelchair hitting the stairs as hard as they do. this but also the fact that so most of the undercity's people have some form of disability because of the living conditions just shows the divide even clearer
Yess exactly! All the disabled people are from the undercity and are seen as less. Even with viktor living in piltover he still didn’t have as much accessibility only a cane and back brace which as you said made him stay in the labs because it is exhausting having no easy way to go around in

I like how they portrayed the difference between Piltovers and Zauns(Under city) ability to help disabled people. In the under city, they create prosthetic limbs for themselves and others because missing them or losing them is so common. Piltover doesn't even have a ramp for some of the most important people in the city, (Salo's scene when his wheelchair is clanging roughly down the stairs). It's rare for someone to be disabled in piltover because they have the privilege of less crime, fresh air, food and all sorts of other stuff.
Today I saw something curious... Vi's eyes, the color, it's named "Powder Blue" and Jinx's after shimmer is "Violet Red"....just another great thing about the series =)
Now that I've seen the scene several times I think the "do you have any idea how that feels?" "Yes I do" shows a common character flaw most of the Piltover characters have and its privilege. On a surface level yes Jinx killing Cait's mom is like the enforcers killing their parents but when you analyze it from a deeper level it's their parents being killed by symbols and agents of oppression and Jinx killing symbols and agents of oppression. Like yes it's not good to kill people I feel in most situations ethically, but asking someone to join the same system that killed their parents when they wanted freedom from oppression is irresponsible and is emotionally unintelligent and something someone from a position of privilege who isn't constantly reminded of the failures of the system would suggest. And we see it throughout the act, Cait's anger and rage overshadowing her ability to empathize or sympathize with the under city because she's so mad at Jinx as a person and ignoring that there's a possibility for hundreds of Jinxs because the system she symbolizes and upholds creates them and she's actively creating them- For example, if the kid survived Jinx getting shot (I say if because with how cait was aiming, the hex bullets ability to penetrate and shoot through something cleanly, and the kids position its possible she could have also killed her) all that does is make another Jinx. Not exactly because of the trauma being different, but you just get another individual who saw an enforcer kill someone they care about after gassing the lanes. How many people already want some kind of reparations or justice against Piltover? The Lanes, as shown, is loyal to each other before they'd ever be loyal to Piltover. Heck, last season when enforcers came in pushing through the lanes there was immediate talk about revolution again, the only reason it didn't happen was because Vander was there to settle it. Vander isn't here anymore, the under city is ultimately leaderless outside of the chem barons who care more about finances. They're not gonna stop the revolution unless it's against their interests so who would? Most of the other big players in the under city either 1) also want independence or 2) don't care either way because they have something else going on. The actions of the task force and topside did exactly what Mel warned in episode 1: give the under city a cause to unite against except they already had the cause they just needed another shove. Of course this is pure speculation on acts 2&3 based on act 1 and the title sequence but I think Arcane's consistent message about how privilege shapes your views and actions is carrying a lot of weight in act 1 of this season, especially because Vi despite being tough shows compassion to the henchman despite him being a chem baron grunt while Cait is prepared to carve a war path to Jinx through the under city
Yup. To add onto your comment -- the very fact that Cait has the authority to lead a strike team of law enforcement into Zaun, using her birthright access to the Grey as chemical warfare, partially in retaliation for her mother's death illustrates just how incomparable Cait's loss of her mother is to Jinx and Vi's loss of both their birth and adopted parents. Vi, hailing from the under city, especially at the age she lost her parents, means they would have absolutely no meaningful way to retaliate or hold the Piltovans/enforcers' to any kind of accountability for their parents' (or any of the citizenry of the Undercity) deaths without being absolutely demolished under the jack heel of the state. Meanwhile, Cait's class position puts her in the perfect place to instrumentalize and weaponize her privilege, not only as a Piltovan and enforcer but as an heir to the Kiraman name, to VIOLENTLY take out her poorly regulated grief/guilt/anger trauma response onto any Zaunite who gets in her way without legal repercussion. In other words, Vi and Jinx experienced their loss and grief in a state of complete situational disempowerment, powerless to either hold those responsible to account or to stop any future carceral violence levied at them or their Undercity-brethren by the enforcers, while Cait situationally can very much act on and weaponize her loss against the one who killed her mother, with very little regard to the consequent casualties as is her status as an enforcer. Yes, Cait's trauma of losing her mother is of course valid. However, her claim of her loss of her mother and Vi's loss of her parents' being somehow circumstantially equal is an admission of Cait's outstanding privilege in the situation and justifies why she so easily slips into becoming the violently oppressive authoritarian dictator she becomes at the end of Act 1.
So true. She even acknowledges it, saying it’s so easy to hate them because of just one act. Without Ambessa there to fuel the fire, things might’ve been different 😢
at 6:38 you can see the floor of the council building all cracked and stuff, but there's actually a very large circle where it's basically perfect and untouched, the spot where Mel was so... girlie did something, especially with how the gold flickered on her back. and it's definitely not natural either because you can see how the cracks just kinda stop at a dead end instead of tapering.
@@nalevqt I don't think it's Zhonya. Firstly it's literally a large hourglass yet somehow we never seen it with Mel, secondly it has to be used manually, yet it looks like Mel didn't know herself what happend, and thirdly in lore it's rare singular Shuriman Artifact that was lastly seen in possession of Xetsa and Zinsa.
I think what Jinx was more upset about is the fact that Vi became an enforcer than people hunting her. She can handle hating Vi, wanting to kill her, hating her. But becoming the very thing that killed their parents and ruined their lives must've been traumatic.
fun fact! during the vi and jinx confrontation scene in ep 3, jinx mentions that vander would tell them about old 'janna' bedtime stories abt the wispy wind woman. janna is actually a league champion! she's a sort of like wind mage in the game :D fun little easter egg riot left in there :D
The song that starts playing out of the Roboarm was Get Jinxed which was the login screen music when Jinx was released as a champion and had its own music video which is why Sevika looks annoyed when it starts playing 😂
The thing about Caitlyn saying "yes I do" when being asked if she has any idea how that feels by Vi is that it's not the same. Cait is asking Vi to join the forces that killed her parents, it would be as if Cait was asked to join forces with the Quembarons to fight topside
It's so rough, because the leaders of Piltover and Zaun have both done heinous, selfish things that have hurt many people, mostly the impoverished in the undercity, but we see in these episodes that just blindly attacking them in retaliation doesn't suddenly lead to change, only to more suffering for the children and other innocent people of their communities. Real progress requires forethought and actual care and intent and a whole lot of freaking work
Dude when Cait said she knew what it was like to watch enforcers kill your parents I literally screamed “NO YOU DONT”. Vi had to leave Vander on the ground and her biological parents, Jinx had to drop Silco in the ocean and Cait gets a big shiny casket. 😭IM SORRY but you have it so much better Cait RESPECTFULLY.
I totally see what you’re saying but also, death is death and losses on all sides will affect us and shape us. It’s a tough one but for me personally, I feel that nobody’s pain is lesser or more than someone else’s. Losing a loved one is horrific and the grief that comes with it is tough. Yes, we can say Vi has dealt with a lot more grief and trauma which is factual, but emotionally, who’s to say who’s more hurt? We all deal with said grief in different ways, the way in which we deal with it is where we can go wrong (as we see with Cait). It’s so complex and creates great discussions, which is why I love this show! Thanks for the comment 💗🫶🏼 (again, I totally understand your viewpoint and can see why you’d feel that way. This show has SO MANY LAYERS!!) 🤯
No I agree like Vi said that in the context of she’s wearing the badge of those who have oppressed her and murdered her parents. Cait’s mom was murdered but she doesn’t have that extra context so she rlly doesn’t know how it specifically feels for Vi cause there isn’t that extra layer
yes but its totally necessary not to forget to caitlyn has been living a very privileged life. i think its okay to say that its wrong for her to harm the ppl of zaun just to flush out jinx. yes her rage and grief is valid. but crazy how ekko in s1 said "your ppl hunt us like animals" then cait went on a speech about the cycle of violence never stopped until she got a taste of what the zaunist bajillion times has experienced and worse, then to go around and piling all of them as "animals". a cop is a cop, ACAB, caitlyn is no exception. two facts can coexist together. if caitlyn solely tries to target jinx, its a lot more understandable for me. but no, she goes ahead and use the grey, gassing the innocent ppl of zaun just to flush out jinx. thats where i draw the line. i really hope she'll have a good redemption arc bcs im really not fucking with her much for now.@@niallnochill
The actual question was: "Do you have any idea what it's like..." and that phrasing matters. NO ONE knows what ME losing MY parents felt like, not exactly--but everyone who has lost a parent has some idea. Whether that idea bears ANY resemblance to reality is another question, but they have one. Cait and Vi's traumas are very different, but they're both real. I mean, Cait could have said, "Do you have any idea what it's like for your sister to kill someone you love," but that would have been a little on the nose :D
The parallel of powder hiding from the enforcers in S1 and now jinx hiding from her own sister, cait getting mentored by an evil person of power the same way jinx was yoinked by silco 😢 I hope jayce realized somewhere along the way that ekko was the one who somewhat sent vi and the kids to loot his apartment and basically kickstarted this entire mess 😂😂
Short Spoiler-free context for the Black Rose : Ambessa comes from Noxus, and in Noxus, there is a secret cabal led by a 2000+ years old witch that basically manipulates everything in the shadows. This cabal is the "Black Rose", and the leader is called "LeBlanc" (not real name, no one knows her true name). LeBlanc can shapeshift, create illusions, make copies of herself to be at several places at once. Basically, she is NOT someone to get on the wrong side of...
ok so this is common knowledge in the league of legends fandom but it's new in arcane so i guess slight spoiler the immortal witch is LeBlanc, she has this organization named the black rose and they use magic and other shenanigans to create weapons for Noxus, it's like a lobby of powerful mages that control the region from the dark, even though they have the great general, warlords and other officials ruling the region. i think she possessed amara the thing is that the black rose owns many magical artifacts and i personally think ambessa took an artifact from the black rose to keep her family safe and now pays off the debt like i think mel owns something similar to zhonya that turns you invincible for a moment, that's why she and jayce survived with no scratch, like when on the end of the episode 9 s1 when the jinx's rocket was flying, the thing on her neck shimmered. also medardas come from shurima and zhonya's timeglass is an artifact from there
Yea its maybe a slight spoiler given that some of that lore will either drop in Arcane or possibly in Arcanes spin-off/sequel which it appears is possibly going to be set in Noxus with how they've been dropping more and more of Noxxian lore and characters around in the show.

Mel and Jayce are not dead thanks to the golden "armor" that Mel is wearing, from what we deduce on the glitter in the first frame of the first episode it is a magical shield🥹🥹🥹🥹this explain Why Victor was injuried and Jayce was alive without a scratch, he was near to Mel😭😭😭😭😫I love your reactions🥹🫶🏻
its the constant dehumanization of zaunites for me really. the way the council calls them demons and even caitlyn calling them animals like girll…. i dont think we wanna go there 😭
A moment where Vi and Jayce manage to team up again, Piltover and Zaun acting in concert--derailed by a Noxxian spear. That's not symbolic or anything, right?
The way I’ve already seen all 3 episodes about 5 times now but I’m stressing with how stressed you are watching this LMAO I’m running out of breath with you 😭 Also, Vi was bound to be an enforcer. She always was in the game.
League of Legends player here! The “wind woman” Jinx mentioned is actually Janna, a champion in the game. She’s basically a wind spirit where it’s been told in Zaun (Undercity) that she protects sailors and is a beacon of hope for the people. My own understanding is that she’s basically a hope for the people to have cleaner air in the lanes before maybe the Kiramman’s gas pipes were made. Tbh i really hope that maybe they’ll touch on the Aspects (mystical beings) in the future series, especially at Mount Targon, where most of the celestial beings and their devotees live. Also, for another lesbian couple in there with their Sun and Moon dynamic teehee
Oh that's so cool, thanks for explaining! I wondered: what is it like for a lol player to watch this? Like, have you anticipated some things beforehand (besides the obvious ones like Vi becoming an enforcer). Do you find Easter eggs or something while watching? How do you feel about the characters?
@@TanyasKat Yes, I did! Since these aren’t the final form of the characters yet but also didn’t expect the story to be the same one as the official lore of the game since they’ve said Arcane is not canon in the League of Legends lore. The series was just a way to make other people who aren’t familiar with the game to be engaged with its story I guess! Some easter eggs I found were the one in my comment on top, the black rose and Warwick reveal, Orianna (another champion in the game), and Mel’s ‘powers’. Honestly, the show is beyond my expectations and I’m glad it did, it makes everyone (player or not) appreciate more of its story on its own. Characters are perfect! I was a bit shocked by how things went with Jayce and Viktor since I wasn’t expecting it at all since they look awesome in the game but let’s just see what the writers cooked on Act 3 haha Ps. I forgot to add this but as a league player watching this, it's pretty awesome to see a character that you always liked (jinx) be given life and a great story to tell to other people, and I love seeing references that I would get since I play it but then again, the game still has its problems imo 😭 so I don’t play as much anymore.
Charcoal* Normally I wouldn't correct something like this but I feel like it matters here. Because drawing with charcoal (in like coal from a fire in thee olden days) takes soooo much more skill and care. It stains and you can't really take it off the paper smoothly. Chalk doesn't stain as much, though it's really impressive to draw with it. But your handling with the medium will be totally different. I just love the art in this show
@@theresidentialrat I mean it's not that weird, it's pretty understandable actually. Imagine if someone comments something nice, the creator hearts it, then they edit it to say something hateful.
@@theresidentialrat yeah no I totally get it. No need to edit it! Again it's not really important or world changing to do so, I just wanted to make sure that the artists are appreciated more/the amount they deserve.

I don’t actually know if it’s ever said but the big guy with the shield’s name is Loris, and I believe before meeting Vi he was already an enforcer and just also happened to be an alcoholic
one of the things i love is how WELL the first episode gets you into caitlyns mindset and the mindset of piltover in general. you see so much pain and grief that you almost forget that the people of the undercity have been experiencing that same pain and grief x10 and for so, so long. and yet THEY arent the ones with the advanced military or power to exact revenge without going to extremes. it makes so much sense why the council wants revenge, of course they do. but they fail to realize that writing jinx off as just a singular problem or painting the whole undercity as evil is missing the point either way. jinx was not just a "single deranged individual" she was a Direct product of the system and of opression. there would always be a jinx, if not her, then someone else. what she did was wrong, yes, but you can only push a group of people so far before one of them decides to retaliate with violence.
Lest (the furry with the long ears) is trans if I remember correctly. Or at least is voiced by Eve Lindley who is trans. I just love the details its so good
after act 2 I finally found the courage to revisit act 1 and doing it with this video just feels like i'm watching and geeking and gaying out with a friend
i loooooove your reactions so much!!! This is exactly how i was reacting to the first watch hyperventilating bc at every turn like WHAT is going to happen here
Two things makes me laugh out loud, when you thought the Kiramman Key is the key of the front door house 😂 and when you thougt enforcer gas is the giant fish from season one 😂 WHERE IS THAT COME FROM LMAO 😂🤣
Apparently, in the game, the two headed wolf the scientist is 'experimenting' on has the nickname of the "Hound of the Underground". If that rings a bell, it's because Vander's nickname was also that. So people are already theorizing stuff
I'd argue if Piltover's attack on Zaun is justified, because the Chembaron attacked Piltover - Zaun was justified in attacking Piltover, because Jayce led an armed force in a similar attack on Zaun (against Silco's Shimmer factory). Which is the whole problem of ever claiming a war - any war - is "justified", because from your opponents view, your justified attack on them, justifies their retaliation.
I loved your reaction to season 1 so I was stoked when I saw your thumbnail. I’m only 2 mins in and you’re cracking me up already. I feel like you and @Not-So-Average-Fangirl would get along so well btw
Niall you NEED to watch the music videos for "Get Jynxed", "Blood Sweat & Tears", they are the videos that introduced Jynx and Ambessa Medarda as playable characters in the game. Get jynxd is referenced in Ep.2 here, and BS&T has some backstory on Ambessa (that you might want to read on the wiki actually, it can be confusing if you don't know much LoL lore) So, one thing is "how did Mel not get hurt when everyone else did?" right? Niall asked at the start of the video, Jayce asks how can he be fine but Viktor almost died. I actually have been thinking Mel was going to be ok since the very moment the first season ended, never had any doubts. If you see the bombing scene, you see the council room from the perspective of the rocket, and Mel's back shining because of the Gold contraption she wears. She's a Medarda, there's no way in hell she wouldn't be using protective armor. The gold she uses is definitely a lot stronger and more protective than most assume.
All I will say concerning Viktor is “GLORIOUS EVOLUTION!!!” ✊🏻🦾🤖 Can’t wait for his arc to come full circle, and of course to see your reaction to it.😈

You made an accidental connection when you mentioned Assassins Creed!
I love you for this. You literally put all my thoughts in words
Also Jinx waving a flag in the opening… a revolution is coming
So true. She even acknowledges it, saying it’s so easy to hate them because of just one act. Without Ambessa there to fuel the fire, things might’ve been different 😢
I'm not sure it's a privilege to have your parent killed no matter what division you're raised in.
at 6:38 you can see the floor of the council building all cracked and stuff, but there's actually a very large circle where it's basically perfect and untouched, the spot where Mel was so... girlie did something, especially with how the gold flickered on her back. and it's definitely not natural either because you can see how the cracks just kinda stop at a dead end instead of tapering.
YOU'RE ONTO SOMETHING OMGGGGG
There is an item in the game called Zhonya's Hourglass which turns your character gold and immune for a short time... coincidence? Maybe.
Omg I love that Naafiri pfp 😭😭
@@nalevqt I don't think it's Zhonya. Firstly it's literally a large hourglass yet somehow we never seen it with Mel, secondly it has to be used manually, yet it looks like Mel didn't know herself what happend, and thirdly in lore it's rare singular Shuriman Artifact that was lastly seen in possession of Xetsa and Zinsa.
@@Aaniel_al.Meara. thank youuu 💅
WouIdn't caII her a "mage", she is a IiteraI goddess
@@tobiramatime i mean lore-wise she technically is, but her play style in game is that of a mage.
2:57 *Victor on screen dying* Niall: ” Jesus Christ ok” . Me: “FORESHADOWING???”
The song that starts playing out of the Roboarm was Get Jinxed which was the login screen music when Jinx was released as a champion and had its own music video which is why Sevika looks annoyed when it starts playing 😂
Fun Fact: Fortiche (studio responsible for this art style) did that music video too! They also did some of the old Gorillaz MVs 👀
Also Vi wasn't asking Cait to *TEAM UP WITH JINX* which wouldve been the equivalent of what Cait was asking.
yes but its totally necessary not to forget to caitlyn has been living a very privileged life. i think its okay to say that its wrong for her to harm the ppl of zaun just to flush out jinx. yes her rage and grief is valid. but crazy how ekko in s1 said "your ppl hunt us like animals" then cait went on a speech about the cycle of violence never stopped until she got a taste of what the zaunist bajillion times has experienced and worse, then to go around and piling all of them as "animals". a cop is a cop, ACAB, caitlyn is no exception. two facts can coexist together. if caitlyn solely tries to target jinx, its a lot more understandable for me. but no, she goes ahead and use the grey, gassing the innocent ppl of zaun just to flush out jinx. thats where i draw the line. i really hope she'll have a good redemption arc bcs im really not fucking with her much for now.@@niallnochill
NOT THE BDSM BANDITS LMAOOO
Also 51:03 😭😭😭 You're so hilarious dude, I can't wait to see your reaction to the next 3 episodes. Hope you enjoy!!!!
Apologies for the delay on this one folks... it is totally worth it! Enjoy me losing my absolute mind for 57 minutes straight!!
Short Spoiler-free context for the Black Rose :
Ambessa comes from Noxus, and in Noxus, there is a secret cabal led by a 2000+ years old witch that basically manipulates everything in the shadows.
This cabal is the "Black Rose", and the leader is called "LeBlanc" (not real name, no one knows her true name).
LeBlanc can shapeshift, create illusions, make copies of herself to be at several places at once.
Basically, she is NOT someone to get on the wrong side of...
24:54 MAMA A MESSIAH BEHIND YOU 💖💅
"Of course they made her ginger..." says the ginger.
Did you notice that the intro is a reference to Shakespeares tragedies with Cait specifically as Macbeth?
I saw a post about it yesterday !!! Actually had me gobsmacked, the detail !!!
And probably Jinx' story line refers to Les miserables.
my moral with this show is exactly like yours "idk about that... ok fair... makes sense"
29:46 they dont PICK banger songs. They MAKE banger songs
ok so this is common knowledge in the league of legends fandom but it's new in arcane so i guess slight spoiler
the immortal witch is LeBlanc, she has this organization named the black rose and they use magic and other shenanigans to create weapons for Noxus, it's like a lobby of powerful mages that control the region from the dark, even though they have the great general, warlords and other officials ruling the region. i think she possessed amara
the thing is that the black rose owns many magical artifacts and i personally think ambessa took an artifact from the black rose to keep her family safe and now pays off the debt
like i think mel owns something similar to zhonya that turns you invincible for a moment, that's why she and jayce survived with no scratch, like when on the end of the episode 9 s1 when the jinx's rocket was flying, the thing on her neck shimmered. also medardas come from shurima and zhonya's timeglass is an artifact from there
black rose hive rise up, god i cant wait to see more of that story line
Yea its maybe a slight spoiler given that some of that lore will either drop in Arcane or possibly in Arcanes spin-off/sequel which it appears is possibly going to be set in Noxus with how they've been dropping more and more of Noxxian lore and characters around in the show.
but they said whatever mel had is something she inherited so how would it be an artifact
I just realized through your edit in this video that Viktor's eyes are constantly changing color
Yeppp
0:56 You came in expecting lesbianism…you got it. A lesbian situationship and a gay situation breaking up so bad one becomes a dictator and the other becomes Arcane Jesus
48:51 Also you might’ve been answered, but it’s Loris!
found your channel a few days ago via the arcane s1 binge video and have been watching some of your other stuff since then. i gotta say you QUICKLY became one of my fav reactors; easiest subscribe ever. very excited for your s2 reactions!
Thank you so much!! That means a lot to me 🫶🏼
“we’re still not finished??” yeah my thoughts exactly 😭😭 they PACKED these episodes
You freaking out when the intro played is exactly what I did 😭 I paused it and was like NO I CANT DO THIS
So interesting that you said that about the funeral scene it's actually hand drawn in charcoal! 😭
Also this is the earliest I've been?? Omg
Cait's team:
Lortis (Shield dude that got drunk with Vi)
Maddie (yer wee scottish ginger)
Steb (the strong, silent type).
51:04 the way you were so disappointed with maddie 😭😭😭🤣
Situationships are so bad that one became jesus, the other one a dictator, the other emo and the last one lose himself and grow beard😭
14:23 Viktor character arc foreshadowing
Mel and Jayce are not dead thanks to the golden "armor" that Mel is wearing, from what we deduce on the glitter in the first frame of the first episode it is a magical shield🥹🥹🥹🥹this explain Why Victor was injuried and Jayce was alive without a scratch, he was near to Mel😭😭😭😭😫I love your reactions🥹🫶🏻
Mel used zhonya pls nerf 😭
its the constant dehumanization of zaunites for me really. the way the council calls them demons and even caitlyn calling them animals like girll…. i dont think we wanna go there 😭
26:22 hotter. That’s what Viktor has become.
A moment where Vi and Jayce manage to team up again, Piltover and Zaun acting in concert--derailed by a Noxxian spear. That's not symbolic or anything, right?
We’re all not ready for act 2 😭 I’m scared how they’ll pick up things with how episode 3 ended.
OK I WAS CRYING AT "is that the big FiSh 😮"
The way I’ve already seen all 3 episodes about 5 times now but I’m stressing with how stressed you are watching this LMAO I’m running out of breath with you 😭
Also, Vi was bound to be an enforcer. She always was in the game.
lmaoooo, we are virtually holding hands thru the trauma 🙂↕️
@@niallnochillvirtually holding hands until act 3. hope we survive this incoming war upon our emotions 😀
I was a bit shocked by how things went with Jayce and Viktor since I wasn’t expecting it at all since they look awesome in the game but let’s just see what the writers cooked on Act 3 haha
Ps. I forgot to add this but as a league player watching this, it's pretty awesome to see a character that you always liked (jinx) be given life and a great story to tell to other people, and I love seeing references that I would get since I play it but then again, the game still has its problems imo 😭 so I don’t play as much anymore.
"every action hase a reaction"
Arcane is the literal definition of putting that into play in a show
fun fact: during the funeral scene it’s actually all drawn with chalk
Charcoal*
Normally I wouldn't correct something like this but I feel like it matters here.
Because drawing with charcoal (in like coal from a fire in thee olden days) takes soooo much more skill and care. It stains and you can't really take it off the paper smoothly.
Chalk doesn't stain as much, though it's really impressive to draw with it. But your handling with the medium will be totally different.
I just love the art in this show
@ ah sos about that
I would correct it but RUclips’s weird and takes the heart away if you edit
@@theresidentialrat I mean it's not that weird, it's pretty understandable actually. Imagine if someone comments something nice, the creator hearts it, then they edit it to say something hateful.
@@Kat-qf7ov oh I get it
thanks
@@theresidentialrat yeah no I totally get it.
No need to edit it!
Again it's not really important or world changing to do so, I just wanted to make sure that the artists are appreciated more/the amount they deserve.
Lucky you, you didn’t have to wait THREE FUCKING YEARS! Sorry.
FR the wait was ETERNAL
23:43 ironic he should say that cause rumour has it he's just a Yordle like Hiemerdinger except all of his body is augmented . except for the head and chest
Not you going deathly quiet when the lesbians finally got the onscreen kiss 😭
the theory that maddie could become cait's girl actually haunted me the past week
jayvik breaking up def wasn't on my bingo card, left me screaming crying throwing up 😭😭😭
I don’t actually know if it’s ever said but the big guy with the shield’s name is Loris, and I believe before meeting Vi he was already an enforcer and just also happened to be an alcoholic
4:13 Actually all of those scenes were inded painted with charcoal 😻
one of the things i love is how WELL the first episode gets you into caitlyns mindset and the mindset of piltover in general. you see so much pain and grief that you almost forget that the people of the undercity have been experiencing that same pain and grief x10 and for so, so long. and yet THEY arent the ones with the advanced military or power to exact revenge without going to extremes. it makes so much sense why the council wants revenge, of course they do. but they fail to realize that writing jinx off as just a singular problem or painting the whole undercity as evil is missing the point either way. jinx was not just a "single deranged individual" she was a Direct product of the system and of opression. there would always be a jinx, if not her, then someone else. what she did was wrong, yes, but you can only push a group of people so far before one of them decides to retaliate with violence.
I am soooo anticipating your reaction to Maddie in the first scene of episode 4 💀
He's gonna cry so much in episode 6 I see it coming
Bro, the fact that you already thought about Vander is incredible 😂 you're very perceptive ❤
20:25 SPOILERS FOR S2 EP 6

Lest (the furry with the long ears) is trans if I remember correctly. Or at least is voiced by Eve Lindley who is trans. I just love the details its so good
Yup Lest is trans its been confirmed, I luv her sm I hope we'll see more of her
after act 2 I finally found the courage to revisit act 1 and doing it with this video just feels like i'm watching and geeking and gaying out with a friend
i loooooove your reactions so much!!! This is exactly how i was reacting to the first watch hyperventilating bc at every turn like WHAT is going to happen here
I wonder if the spell that saved jayce and his mother had a 'reaction' , since it was a sort of myracle
That monster on chained to the ceiling, that is the wrath of Zaun, afterall wrath must be met with wrath
the key of the front door omg 😭😭😭😭
The hanging monster is Warwick. There is a GREAT short cinematic with his reveal on the league RUclips. HIGHLY recommend.
The amount of pain I felt in episode 3 I just know I’m NOT ready for act 2
Two things makes me laugh out loud, when you thought the Kiramman Key is the key of the front door house 😂 and when you thougt enforcer gas is the giant fish from season one 😂
WHERE IS THAT COME FROM LMAO 😂🤣
49:38 AMBESSA JUST PULLED A HOMELANDER YOU'RE KIDDING MEEEEE
You are probably the first person to ever clock that this IS Vander. Smart dude
Get jynxd is referenced in Ep.2 here, and BS&T has some backstory on Ambessa (that you might want to read on the wiki actually, it can be confusing if you don't know much LoL lore)
So, one thing is "how did Mel not get hurt when everyone else did?" right? Niall asked at the start of the video, Jayce asks how can he be fine but Viktor almost died.
I actually have been thinking Mel was going to be ok since the very moment the first season ended, never had any doubts. If you see the bombing scene, you see the council room from the perspective of the rocket, and Mel's back shining because of the Gold contraption she wears. She's a Medarda, there's no way in hell she wouldn't be using protective armor. The gold she uses is definitely a lot stronger and more protective than most assume.
You can't lose yourself, ever. From beginning to end, all that is who you are. All you do is change from what was to what is, then what will be.
All I will say concerning Viktor is “GLORIOUS EVOLUTION!!!” ✊🏻🦾🤖
Can’t wait for his arc to come full circle, and of course to see your reaction to it.😈
