Fun fact, Sky(victors assistant who died trying to help him) had a rune from the lore(the inspiration rune) that was the only one missing while he was tinkering with the hextech using different runes. Her notes and research about thinking she could be able to help were most likely linked to that rune, which would’ve completed his research but she died before she could tell him.

Vi’s eye colour is powder blue, it could be symbolic of why she still sees Jinx as Powder. Jinx’s eyes are powder blue as well until she takes the shimmer and then her eyes change to be VIOLET pink… the little details 😍
Actually, Jinx's eye shade is very interesting. In the beginning, the first act to be exact, it's grey or like actual powder blue, or closest thing to it. Later down the line they're this shade called 'violet blue' and then they turn to violet red, which is like... Insane storytelling and character design! Sorry if I sound like a smarty-pants, I am just obsessed with those little details...
I feel like while silco was definitely a bad guy he genuinely loved jinx. He saw himself in her and wanted to give her the strength and opportunity that he was never given and the one powder was never given. I mean he gave a teenage girl a high postion of power in his little empire. Rushed her to help when she was hurt. He finally understood what vander was telling him all those years ago. He had his dream his nation so so clore to reality, but the price was too great. Because he knew deep down that nothing would ever mean more to him than her, his daughter.
Honestly, the moment Jinx hugged Silco and said that Vi wasn't her sister in Episode 3, and when I saw the look in Silco's eye and the way he hugged her back, I immediately knew he saw himself in her and would care for her like a father. I just finished Arcane Season 1 yesterday and I'm blown away by the reactors who immediately think that Silco doesn't care for her and is only using her.

Interesting fact, Ekkos power in the game is to rewind time, which is the exact amount of seconds we see him and Jinx as kids fight where he loses, he then goes back to to the present and reenacts it exactly but wins the fight this time. Also Jinx's tattoo is the smoke that she releases when she calls to Vi, she always had hope. In comparison to the game, the show gives a lot more lore, the game is more like top-trumps but you do the fights yourself, as in you get the stats and how they fight with a little paragraph about them and their background. There is a map you can find as well online. I love Silcos character, he looks like the traditional bad guy, but he does bring money to the lanes, he uses the only thing he can to trade with topside and he wants to stop the oppression and become an independent city, he sees the betrayal of a sibling in powder and adopts her and accepts her completely, not just as Jinx but as Powder and loves her and trusts her through her internal chaos, he's the only one to love her as her. Vi loves only Powder, and Jinx is feared by everyone. I love watching people react to this season, it's brilliant, every character isn't black and white and the complexities flushed out through a short season is incredible.

Mel is not adopted, that is her biological mother. What Ambessa meant when she said "perhaps she could be my daughter", she meant she would give Mel the throne. If you watch the latest music video called 'Blood Sweat and Tears', you would see that Ambessa is actually pregnant with Mel there. Also, Silco is not gross for protecting and caring about Jinx. She is his daughter and he will do anything to keep her safe. He loves her like a father just like how Vander loved his kids. Silco is broken just like Jinx and tries to help in the only way he knows. He truly believes everything he says to her and he thinks it is helping her just like Vi. Both Silco and Vi are on the opposite end of what Powder/Jinx is. Without Silco there, I'm pretty sure Jinx would have been crazier although he did feed into her delusions sometimes as well. Everyone just thinks they are doing good but unfortunately it can harm in some way or another.
I know Silco can be a good villain but man i love his character and his complicated relationships after a few watches and character analysis/breakdowns

Brother, Silco is definitely a villain but he definitely loves and treats jinx like his daughter. Go watch the Vander statue scene again. And Silco’s plan wasn’t to blow up the council. He just wanted to scare them and have something to fight against hex tech weapons. All he wanted was peace and the enforcers out of the lanes from the very beginning.
