      They are adorable pups, but they don't always learn that quickly and are VERY high energy. I have a 7 month old female and have had her for 4 months, and she can be a challenge at times. But the cuteness factor on the bernedoodles is crazy, everybody loves them!

    I bought one in the larger version. I am exhausted. Great video. How do I keep her from under my feet? I went flying in the air and landed on concrete. It’s like this little 8 week old is herding me.
    I will work on the items above. This young lady is very energetic. Hard to get her to sleep at night too.
    I sound exhausted huh? Lol
    We missed a delightful large breed that looked close to this one… had to do it.
    The walk along side you and not cross in front of you is a dangerous issue.

      @@Fancy370 I've been reading that apparently these "designer" dogs come with a whole host of issues. The argument is that, since they are mixed, they are unpredictable when it comes to temperament and the stomach issues, I heard from a youtube vid.

    This is a well done tutorial, but.... I wish trainers would work with dogs not already trained so we can see the process. Seems more helpful than the dog that's already trained.

    • @donnab.42
      @donnab.42 Год назад

      Kevin, I agree. Where do you start, when? How long for a training session?

    • @laurenlu95
      @laurenlu95 Год назад +2

      You start as soon as you get them home. Keep the sessions short and sweet, you don't want them to get frustrated.
      Starting training my standard bernedoodle at 7 weeks. Enrolled in puppy school at 4 months. Graduated and went on to adolescent aged obedience school. Graduated from foundation skills and went on to advance classes.
      She is 11 months now and on her way to earning a canine good citizen title. Best dogs ever! So worth all the hard work.

      They're simply called "PLACE BOARDS". Any *SPOT* you have them place is the key. Have them "place" on a cut out piece of cardboard, a rug, etc that when you move them there and command "PLACE", wherever it is, then that space/object becomes the "place".
