Great video man,I worked on a trane Unit today 3 circuits one of the circuits were coperland digital scroll really good information on this videos thank you your videos is helping me to the next level on my carrier
Dam good video. You explained the circuit, showed the wiring and pulled off wires to see what happens to trouble shoot. Should have went over that monster wiring diagram when you opened that door towards the end. You remined me of this Jamaican guy I work with.
your Videos have education trait, I like it. I have this type of Copeland digital Scroll compressor like this on AAON ERV unit at work place which suddenly stop work since about two weeks ago and each time I made attempt to start it, it would work for just 10 to 20 secs. and tripped off on 3 codes compressor protector trip. I can't get it on sometime it tripped on 4 codes lock rotor after it attempt to start for about 4 to 5 times. what do you think I can do
Where was the 0-5 volts coming from? Was it using a Copeland Comfort Controller for space control? The comfort controller can cycle the compressor directly, but I can't find in the literature whether it will feed the 0-5 to the compressor controller. I'm converting a bang bang pack unit on a constant heat load server room.
What is the correct and good and bad mega? Om reading on compressor insulation testing. I bought insulation tester ET 600 from Klein. Please let me know I am doing insulation. Testing, and I was not sure what numbers I should look for that are good and bad. It is trained in teleppack. Scroll compressor
Hello, my name is Julius We had a hurricane come through our city last week, after the storm all my roof top systems stope working. I was able to repair all of them but one, I'm receiving a code from the compressor controller, so my question has the storm damage the Copeland/Emerson L1-L2 24-250VAC Compressor Controller
Right now I have one blinking theee times, it says the reason for this is “The demand signal from the system controller is greater than 1.44VDC and there is no compressor current detected. This could be due to the compressor's internal overload protector being open, fuse or breaker open, power disconnected to compressor contactor, compressor power wiring not run through Digital Compressor Controller current transformer port or a compressor contactor failure.” When I push in the contactor, the compressor runs for a few seconds before it shuts off and overload light comes on. I’m new to this smh Gonna try to figure it out today, wish me luck
Our power went out for like 1 second and came back on ... this triggered the thing to trip .... no compressor ... i reset it by removing 24V wire from module and re-attaching it ... fixed
How can I bypass this? I'm getting code 3, then becomes code 4. However, when I power cycle and check compressor amps, it's at 3.6, within spec. So how can I bypass this until I can get a new one? Thanks
The compressor would then most likely run all the time with no demand or call for cool so to control that you can figure it out based on your wiring or schematic
Well, your explaination of the solenoid valve is incorrect! you're saying discharge gas is rerouted via the energized solenoid valve into the sucction line. This would be HOT-GAS-BYPASS, but this is not the way this digital compressor works. The solenoid valve is controlling a mechanical device to lift the fixed scoll 1mm up, to fully unload the compressor.
@Udo visintini Perhaps you are right 🤷♀️ sounds logical. FYI hot gas bypass gases always gets injected into the evaporator coil inlet! Thanks 🙏 for stopping by.
This is the best video I have ever seen on how digital scroll compressor controller works. Thank you my host.
Thanks 🙏 for watching my video

Hello mi friend . thank you for this information the best 😄
Thanks for watching
Hai sir very nice explained thank you
Thanks for watching
Well explained my man
Love this video really helpfull and deatailed

Does the compressor actually starts, what’s the amp draw?
@D2DNYAC Have a very similar scenario, however if I disconnect the solenoid it runs fine fully loaded. Any thoughts on this?

Bredrin come work with us in North Jersey

I just saw the end. It's a Carol controller.

Check under the about section of the channel
What do you need to do when code 5 demand system loss occur?
Check DC volts demand signal
Awesome video thank you!
Thank you for stopping by
If the unloader solenoid fails closed will the compressor get damaged, or does it just run at 100% capacity?
No damage runs 100%

@ahmed Said control what?
@@D2DNYAC the digital compressor
Yes it can, it will run at full capacity

Check m1m2 for 24v if yes and compressor not running or attempting to , then Check the other safety LPS HPS etc.
@@D2DNYAC Thanks brother👌
I want to install a 5ton automatic block ice plant... shall I go with Emerson scroll compressor
They are good compressors in my experience
@@D2DNYAC
How to make an automatic ice plant... with full capacity output... that means 5ton compressor =5ton ice per day.

I want to learn to use the terminal blok please thank you

Can the A1 and A2 we bypass ?
Sure it can be done
@@D2DNYAC
Can we measure continuity when the power is on or off ?
Good video but I don't know how to clear code 5. Please help
Hello I need more information in order to assist! what exactly is happening with the system?
(Code 5 is demand signal lost)
Great video, learned a bit :)
Thanks for stopping by
Alert blinking 9 times so what we do?
Check your low voltage power supply or transformer
Make sure it’s measures 24 volts
U 638?...
Yes

I believe if you shunt M1 and M2 compressor will turn on and run, for full capacity just disconnect one wire from solenoid
The compressor would then most likely run all the time with no demand or call for cool so to control that you can figure it out based on your wiring or schematic

No you can physically see pipes external discharge goes back suction
@udo visintini I disagree with your idea 💡
@@globaltecnicianworldsbest3031 it not his idea. It’s Copland idea.
What is allowing the fixed plate to rise up when the solenoid is energized? What is the psi differential created when the solenoid energizes
Man i asked you if i could have your number for some tricky questions?
Sure link me on what’s app only if you are a preferred member
Need to switch to vfd compressors.. nobody wants to listen to the chorus of growling unloading compressors
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wiring not beautiful
Really it is to me 😂
Rats will bite the cable if that’s the case.
It bites my circuit 😂😂😂😂
