Great video!! Not sure if you do this often on compressor change outs but sometimes it’s a good idea to flush out the system to avoid cross contamination from a burnout. Love the content you are putting out… keep up the good work👍👍
Yes thanks! I always requests properties to have acid away on hand as well as acid test kits but that doesn't always happen - I just do the best I can with what I got :)
Nice! Did a heat pump compressor changeout today as well. What’s the link for that shut off valve that you used on the vacuum pump to not let any air into the system?
Hi great video I just suscribed to yr channel my question is whats the name or the shreader valvule removal tool??? I need to buy 2 of them...I like their function. Thnks n be safe.
How Important is it to use the valve stem removing tools???...I never used one of those I screw the blue line from the manifolds straight to the low side of the minisplits when I perform a vacume.
1:48 - Wow. Could have inspected that first and saved time and materials. Maybe the compressor is still OK. If there are no opens, and no shorts to ground, a loose peckerhead connection was the reason the compressor wouldn't start. Replace the wring harness clean the terminals and put back into service.

Valve core removal tools - links in the video description as well 👍

Lots of debate about this - cuts down on my evacuation time
Thanks for the video. Question, do you know if there's a valve core removal tool for the fatter valve stems on commercial HVAC?
What year was this unit installed?
Not sure. 2021?
So, Copeland specifically says to charge liquid into the high side only for their scroll compressors. I guess it really doesn't matter?
Reference link??
What superheat/subcool meter are you using and where did you get it?
SSX34 I bought it about 10 years ago at a supply shop. Just looked it up on amazon doesn't seem anythings changed on it amzn.to/3xCQRSM
What size brazing tip are you using
It’s bigger than what I usually use but all I had one me. I don’t know the size off the top of my head
Whats Pressure for gas 410r ?
go by superheat for pistons and subcool for txv's :)
Why he didn't change the expansion valve???even if we change the compressor we should must change it... Can anyone explain
i bet the compressor was just fine you just needed to change the electrical connection . could of saved the client a ton of money
Your probably right I’ve only been doing this crap for about 15 years. I obviously have no clue
@@ApartmentMaintenancePro lol 15 years doing it wrong your right
@@rafaeldiegonavarro Did you steal that comment from tik tok or come up with it all by yourself?
@@ApartmentMaintenancePro you’re just mad because you know he’s right 🤣 shady @ss hvac guys are at it again!

Not on this one. The compressor would run, but would not pump, meaning the pressures were equalized when running, meaning the valves were shot.
