this game needs a good cpu a gpu doesnt matter that much for example i hade a ryzen 5 3600 i got like 40- 60 fps with a rx 6600 i upgraded to a 5800x3d and im getting like 90 -110 fps

@@MrLucasVou100 player servers, tanks, artillery, helicopters, 8x8km maps, this game is a CPU DESTROYER!!! Upgrading your CPU will almost always lead to better FPS, no matter your GPU! You can check if your system is CPU or GPU limited by lowering your resolution to 720p, if you still get the same FPS, you need a better CPU, not a better GPU!

idk whats going on. my 4070 super gets me around 80fps and drops to 60 fps at certain times on high/medium 1080p. same with 1440p. i swear a few year back i was running this game fine even on my 2060
@@smartertverter9294 squad doesnt use multi threading, its more of a case of single core and 3d cache performance, thats why x3d chips work so well in this title. The game is super unoptimized, my rtx 4080/r7 7800x3d get around 170fps in normal matches, my i7 8700 and rtx 2070 combo got around 90-100fps, no matter what graphics i played on haha

Cpu bottleneck, squad is a really cpu intensive game, to max out your gpu you would need at least a 5700x3 at 2k or a 7800x3d on 1080p.
