I have same perf in 4k full ultra + HDR on oled tv (except tree tessellation to off) with a rtx2080 + I7 8700K .... of course all is overclocked and i use the last version of DLSS2 😁
@@mykeviper I tried to explain it as a detailed response to your post on youtube, but I see that it has been removed by youtube. You can find it easily looking for 'Upgrade DLSS RDR2". No needs to use some mods, only replacing one file on the root folder of the game. It's working for a lot of games ( for my case: Cyberpunk, Assetto corsa competizione, The whitcher 3 and RDR2).
You could create a custom 2560x1440 resolution, do dlss quality ( it will be like dlaa on full hd) and just lower some options, and it will look even better with the same fps
I have the same specs 5500 and 4060. 16 big ram. I'm new to pc gaming, what does over clock do? I'm playing on a 4k 120 hz tv. Still unsure what settings should be using to get it looking its best. Thanks
Hi , if I understand correctly, you're asking what is the best setting for you on the same specs in 4K TV gaming and to achieve the best quality and maximum FPS. I recommend textures on Ultra and Anisotropic Filtering X16, these are the main things that make the game the prettiest, then effects on low, shadows on low and light also on low and the another all on low and finally turn on the DLSS performance . I hope you run the game well 😎
@@erikdolnikthat’s correct yes. I don’t have this game but my question was really for other titles. I will see if the games I own have these settings. Thank you
@@LLsmoothJay Yes, I would recommend it, but then again, each game is differently demanding as far as Dishonored 1 or 2 , there are older games and they should run great on this set, but Far Cry as far as episode 1,2,3,4 and maybe primal are supposed to run at ultra detail in 4K around 60+ fps, but far cry 5 or New Down and 6 are new games and they are definitely more demanding, so there I would recommend reducing shadows and lights and effects, but mainly to put textures on ultra in new games, I mainly recommend turning on DLSS or Frame Generation
DLSS is only available on RTX series graphics cards (e.g. RTX 2060 and later). If you have a card that doesn't support this, the option won't be there. Also, make sure you have the latest drivers and an updated game. If you have the right hardware and everything is up to date, DLSS should appear in the settings.
that's strange because I haven't seen any such tests in the RTX 4060 they are in the form of fps like I in the video, a laptop with an RTX 4050 with the same settings around 60 FPS 1080p
@@bhagatsinghfan4037 I have an ultra setting not high in the video. It's probably true that on an RTX 4050 laptop you'll have 77 fps on high, but I was talking about the Ultra setting . And when I looked at the video tests of the rtx 4050 laptop in Red Dead Redemtion 2 on ultra settings like I have in the video, it was around 55 to 60 fps, I averaged around 75 fps on ultra settings with my rtx 4060

@@kodelineshw yes, you need activate Nvidia dsr and choose 1440p in game, then in game turn on dlss on quality.

no this is desktop
Laptops are bad for gaming. No space for cooling, get a desktop, even an old one is better than any laptop.
