Wagyu F1 - The Most Controversial Wagyu Steak in the World
- A memorable visit to Teppanyaki Minami with excellent tasting Wagyu F1 Steak - Wagyu F1 refers to 50:50 crossbred Wagyu with Angus or Simmentaler. So, calling it Angus F1 would be similarly correct, or even more correct: Angyu, Wagus or even Simmen牛 (Simmengyu). While "Wagyu F1" provides a better Teppanyaki steak experience than A5 Wagyu Ribeye Steak which can be too fatty, "Wagyu F1" is much cheaper and hasn't good a good reputation.
One of my favourite RUclips channels. This man is living the life! 👍
I love the random cuts out of the windows to a random street scene...😊😅😂
Top quality videos of top quality food and service.
Much appreciated.
Looks fantastic, I did not expect the dessert to be cooked on the Teppan as well! Good knowledge about the Wagyu F1 too!
there's a lot of food channels out there, but yours always stands out. No unnecessary commentary or flashy graphics, just sitting down to enjoy the wonderful meal before you! Bravo! 👌
It is always phenomenal to see a Master at work. Thank you!
It’s the little things this chef does that makes me love watching him. His knife work is so surgically precise that it’s mind blowing. When he cuts the second shrimp, he’s so fast and accurate that he made the butterfly cut and was on to something else before the shrimp opened up from the perfect slice. I watched that little part like 7 times 😂
Does that make the meat taste so much better?
Shrimp shit was not removed.
Thrilled not to see crass, pretentious theatricality. Suave and dignified. Lovely!
Always classy, love the channel :)
If you say something is classy, it isn’t.
It was a real lust to see this fine dinner coming together. I felt spoiled even watching it!
If I need to relax, this is my go to. Mesmerising
A true teppanyaki master! Thank you . . .
Most talented chap we've seen in a while, he was technical and efficient and faithful to proper cooking times
Agree. Very good chef
Yes, I liked how even with the shrimp he noticed one piece wasn't cooked to perfection so he gave it a bit more time. Obvious care being taken with the preparation.
The customer is always right concerning matters of taste.
Even the pepper was done with grace and precision!
Another quality teppanyaki upload Aden. You never disappoint.
Teppan whatti 🤨
My god that meal looked amazing. Particularly the fried rice but everything was great. Even the desert was that bit extra. (Don't worry about burning off the alchohol, just pour it over straight for me!)
The most controversial steak: Full-Blood American Wagyu.
50/50 F1 wagyu is great, but it's more like extra premium Angus. Which is great since it has a beefier flavor. But Full-Blood American wagyu is more controversial since it really comes down to how the cattle are raised.
Australian also just as if not more controversial.
Stop whining girl
Shadddup white boy.
There is no such thing as American WAGYU😁! if you know what it means
WA= Japanese
GYU= beef
so how can it be American WAGYU?😂
@@ahoorakia The irony is that the English name for the breed is Japanese Black. So you could say it's American-Japanese Black cow, but how does that make sense using the same logic? 😉
Either way, it's highly marbled and great tasting beef. Yet people don't seem to give it the respect it deserves
@@LiamFranklinFarang
you can call it anything you want in English ,but wagyu as I explained literally means Japanese cow, you can not just put American in front of it and change the meaning
you may call it American raised WAGYU and it makes sense then
Wow! A first class quality stuff...i wanna eat it right now...looks so yummy...cookin' man is kinda Artist making a tasty picture from wagyu and another stuff..
I ❤ 2 watch the wagyu cookin' videos like this one during i eat, so any food becomes tasty😊
Thank you 4 showing 😊
I’ve watched a lot of these videos, this gentleman has some of the smoothest knife work I have seen, wow!!👍👍
I like this cook. No extra movements. It makes it more relaxing.
If it’s a better teppanyaki experience, I find it hard to understand why it’s controversial. It looks great.
Probably is because of the horrible background music haha
Most people don’t appreciate balance.
It's less expensive.
Because it's utter bs.
I can only imagine eating such a wonderful delicious dish! I will never get to, but (this/these) Chefs are amazing! Maybe someday in my lifetime I will get to eat Wagu Beef, but more than that.. get to visit this wonderful country of extraordinary cooks! ❤
Omg that fried Wagyu with rise was really unexpected :) Amazing cooking skill and I can imagine how amazing food and athmosphere was there. Thank you for sharing this video.
To be honest i think 35000JPY (230$) for all those service for 2 is a bargain price. Absolutely loved this video....
This guy is probably the best I've seen out of all adens videos
$240. TAKE MY MONEY! , very nice fried rice, coloring of the peppers adds nice touch.
PS: Sukiyaki next please! (my anxiety needs it lol)
Thank you for the video.
Uhh at 23:40 he finally answered my question "how does he know how it tastes if he doesnt?" - Good chef, always taste the food before serving :D
What a beautiful meal. The wagyu and egg fried rice must have been amazing!
Was this cook so good that he managed to take out the black vein with the knife at the same time he was cutting into the shrimp? I never saw it.
No matter what wagyu grade, Aden Films always delivers succulent videos.
It's not a wagyu grade. Read the description. It's a cross between wagyu and angus. Can you read?
@@Jwaukechon yes I can read and I did read it thanks.
What do you gain for being such a smartass on RUclips?
“A succulent Japanese meeeaaaal!”
@@Jwaukechonlol get a life if you’re getting this worked up over a comment. “Read the description . . . Can you read?” I can tell just from this comment that you’re a pain in the a$$ to be around. What can you gain from such a comment? You could’ve provided the information and left it at that. Have a nice day and don’t waste more of your time to reply because I don’t care. 😂
Perfect preparation laced with as much passion for presentarion .❤
I would just like to travel with Aden and experience all this wonderful food too.
He chopped the fried rice to cut up the egg and sliced across it to thin out the ingredients to speed up the cooking time. Such useful techniques I have picked up today. Great skills!
this chef has superior skills, just by the way he cut the shrimp and managed the oil you can tell his ability is way above typical
Great chef bravo
$240 US for this meal for two? Bargain. Amazing looking meal, prep and setting.
Please Take Me Along! 😂 I’m certainly a complete Country Man living in the USA! I do know when something looks great and is cooked with passion! That Steak looked Sooo Goood to me… 😊🥰🙏
There's nothing quite like the feeling of crisp, fresh air filling your lungs as you explore the great outdoors. Nature has a way of awakening the senses and reminding us of life's simple joys.
Recently, "fine lean Wagyu beef" has been attracting attention in Japan. If you like Wagyu beef but do not like fatty meat, you should definitely try it.
He must be a Black Belt of Teppanyaki Chef. His skills are amazing to watch
Agreed. I'll hire him.
10th degree blk belt
10th degree blk belt. I am not gay but maybe I should if he is willing to cook for me every night
Good to know that with the quality of Rum they are using to Flambeau the crépes , I could totally do this at home lol.
First time hearing about this F1 Wagyu. Will be searching for it when I'm in Japan
Why?
What camera do you use for your video ?
I’m looking for something like this in the LA/OC area of California. Does this even exist in the states?!?! Or do I have to make the trip out to Japan?
benihanas?
@@masaharumorimoto4761 If Benihana’s is as close as I can get out here I’m gonna cry haha Then book a flight to Japan…
There are plenty of teppanyaki places in the LA area. Just do an Apple Maps search or a Google search. Most of the ones I’ve been to are influenced by the Benihana “show” style of cooking, but the food is still fine, if you can look past the flames and clatter of knives. Personally, I’d rather not have the show and just get the food. The real trick is finding wagyu, as not all places go beyond Angus Prime (which is still tasty, don’t get me wrong).
This chef is a master. Like watching a talented dancer.
This man is not a cook. He's an artist
Very Nice Superb Video
Chef is really impressive while watching this on 2x
I would not mind experiencing this one bit but this is the exclusive preserve of the super rich. I find nothing fascinating about spending $600 for food that literally will not last 5 bites at best.
Right for $600 i should have some leftovers fr😅
Not $600. It’s $235
There's a certain patience and effort to the cooking that not only appreciates the taste and quality of the food, but it's source. It's a privilege that humans enjoy the full menu that Earth offers, it's sad that that notion is disappearing with each generations. Carpe Diem!
Finally, a fried rice that actually looks good instead of the usual white rice + a but of garlic but no oil, no eggs or even a bit of beef and charging, idk, 300 usd for the meal.
Maybe I am used to Chinese fried rice and the Japanese makes theirs differently, but too many places have been ripping Aden off with their pale, dry and tasteless fried rice.
If you want to correct your video description, in the end its saying " hasn't good a good reputation." (i imagine it was supposed to be "got a good").
Like so Aden can see!
Its a knife magician, i am really impressed. 😯
az egyik rákon rajtahagyta a farkát. béna! :)
That final twist is mind-blowing 😂. 3400 yen😢
MASTER!
Wow - I watch all your videos and don't typically comment, but that chef deserves praise! Clearly a seasoned professional. Hope you tipped well :)
In Japan tipping luckily is quite uncommon. No tipping culture there.
Yeah, tipping is just an American thing.
@@shishcubob In some european countries too, but nowhere near as crazy as in the US. Usually 1-5% maximum.
I have heard that in the USA waiters are comparatively underpaid, so a good tip is expected and a small one frowned upon, to say the least as they literally count on them for a decent income. In any case it is good to see such professionals prepare and serve the meal right in front of the customer with such precision. This means they are sufficiently confident in their skills. I would guess they are well paid by their employer and need not rely on tips.
Very nice!
Wait, so the chef doesnt even know there is a reason why shrimps have that "de-veined"-look? IT IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN DE-VEINED! It doesnt help if you simple slice them along their back and then ignore the rest since they now look as expected!
Very relaxing videos
Yes, you too can cook stuff on a flat grill and mess with it incessantly.
hardly ever had i saw a restaurant that rent a samurai to be thier cheff
I like F1 over A5. A5 is too rich. I can’t eat a lot. But F1 I can eat until my stomach bursts.
Good looking zabuton there.
What kind of oil is he cooking with?
Oh look how good he boils that water so skilled and talented what a craftsman so much honor and tradition went into that water!
Onion slices looked old. Notice the three green growths, as they age in storage.
iam veeeeery impressed the cook can speak german and .... du kannst auch deutsch ?! grüße aus deutschland !
Vielen Dank
Nasi pecel ,nasi goreng, nasi Padang,bakso,opor,soto.....tetap juaraaaa❤
“Are those steamed clams?”
“Oh no, I said steamed hams! That’s what I call F1 wagyu steak.”
Taste like Krusty Burgers
Delicious.🤤
so i'm guessing no cheeseburger and fries huh 🤠 geez lucky if I can afford the tap water 🤣🤣🤣
This chef is god in disguise.
The food is heaven…
Lovely meal.
Where is this Restaurant located? In Germany ? The Chief asks the Guests in german.
I will say, In 2007 I had a Wagyu A5 New York strip that was 140$ 8oz at CUT Beverly Hills CA (USA). I could cut it with a fork! However, I don’t like how fatty and rich it is. It’s too much, to this day I still think about it and how I’m not ready for my wagyu a5. I like the lower grades that have more bite to them but are still tender. This would be that I guess for an F1.
Wagyu A2 is far better for general eating. Most Japanese prefer it. You can eat more of it and it's still amazing.
@@feiryfella Oooh, good to know. Yea, I get the hype on Wagyu now, but a5 is wooo boy too much lol. Pricey too. I am hunting down lower grades (which to me I think are better grades, but whatever). Maybe get some frozen shipped or something.
Why is the Wagyu steak "controversial"? The only "controversial" thing I see is the huge mound of raw onions being served with the high end food.
The skill of frying fried rice is better than that of steak
The price 😮?! 😫🥱
MMM! Yum! 🤤
Nise show...
Meanwhile I'm burning scrambled eggs on my blackstone
did he just make beurre blanc on a flat top!?
Watching here
the desk very clean ,nice . i like the fire part seem so safe. make some freezing chocolate with fire and put on some ice-cream or pudding .may be attracting women customers.
That should have been me ! Sitting there 😣😒!!
