When I was in Japan, every time I ate at any restaurant it felt like I was eating in an art gallery 😊
Well, if you eat in an art gallery's restaurant, this will happen 😊
@@clownworld-honk410😅😅
I like eating at Jackson Pollock's!😁
@@tomweickmann6414 That's a Greg Davies joke, right? When he was a teacher in Slough. 😀
When I was in Japan, every time I ate at any restaurant it felt like I could hear a thousand dishwashers crying out in anguish...and then nothing.
The most pristine teppan grill I’ve ever seen.
I love how the Japanese are so neat and clean as two other nationality hibachi/teppenyaki
These uploads are so relaxing it's borderline criminal.
What is doshirak?

Put on some headphones while you eat.
There are people who dedicate themselves to the artform of bliss and traditions.
Watch and learn
WOW.... The attention to detail is superb. You two are very lucky to experience a dinner like that.
For the money it better be!
22:07 I thought that sound was being made from cutting into the steak 🤣 I love watching these habachi chefs. Their attention to detail is amazing.
I traveled in Japan several times. If you want to find the true meaning of elegance, that's elegance nothing more nothing less.
0:11 the most refreshing looking glass of water ever
I enjoyed every mouthful 😋
Second course served in "Meissner Porzellan" - Wellenspiel. Best porcelain in Germany! Very nice!
12:46 absolute mad man feeling the stove top with the inside of his finger
He knows where the cool part is.
He's a seasoned veteran chef, a touch hot stove is just an ant bite for him..
Absolutely perfect experience! Makes me miss this type of dining too much!! Thank you for sharing.
Perfection.
Why I tortured myself to see thisi!!! Superb, once in a lifetime meal. W O W ❤❤❤
The curry rice was an amazing ending.
Give this man a raise
Subtitles for what the guy speaks would be nice. 🥴
So, I’m watching this because I’m hungry. With what delicacy will I slake my appetite? You guessed it; peanut butter and banana. (My local Kroger is out of wagyu beef at the moment… and all other moments.)
I literally am at the point where I am going to plan a trip just to do this for a single meal. Looks amazing and I can't even imagine what it would smell and taste like. Well done video.
OMG, this looks so good!
I love the attention to cleaning the surface as part of the process throughout. Not so rigorous in other videos I have watched,
Going there the end of January!
All videos like this should just be labeled, "ASMR." So relaxing!
Wow, nice.🤤
even cleaning the kitchen is part of the dinning process, I've been once to an Omakase restaurant and if not for the exorbitant prices, I'd go there all the time.
Einfach nur genial ❤😂😂
The appetizer bowl is Finnish design called Ultima Thule
I could watch these guys cook wagyu steak all day. This is the closest i am ever going to get to trying real wagyu steak. I literally can't even afford food with fifty cents in pennies in a jar.
yum
where can i buy that glass in the beginning?
i like how elegance he cooks the beef with clean utensils salute to this hardworker boy.
Intricate delicacies!!!
That chef is sooo neat & clean 😮
@@user-jg7eh7yl6yat least Indian cuisine has flavour unlike Russian cuisine 😂
Every move is careful and delicate.
I just visited there in November! I had found this place from one of your previous videos. The food was amazing! I told him that I found the restaurant from your channel but not sure if he understood from the language barrier.
What was that brown gelatinous stuff they had at the beginnind?
@@ReclinedPhysicist I think it was the "Yamanashi Peach Cold soup" according to the English menu you can see just before they serve the first dish. 😉
@@ReclinedPhysicistThat was the "kikurage" mushrooms
@@ReclinedPhysicist It’s Kikurage(木耳) which is “cloud ear mushroom”or “Jew’s ear mushroom” in English, but it is not common outside of Japan.
Chef himself is the best part of the meal
Haha he looks edible 😂
Leave the chef alone! 😂
The poster knew what they were doing using the chef as the thumbnail lol its why I'm here 😂
'Well done' was a nice callback :)
first time to hear adan´s voice
Amazing pulcritud and pomp. However, I think I would get out of there still hungry! 😂
They usually offer a bowl of fancy fried rice for a "top up" after the meal for that reason. It usually comes at an extra price though
Is that Finnish glass bowl in the beginning?
It's amazing how they try to grill high-quality meat on a clean iron plate every time.
these guys know the concept of Daddy Bull and Baby Bull 🐮
D clean so neat so polite. You won’t see this in America
Is there a link to the restaurant?
Appreciate if translator is on. I could here only waygu steak is delicious I wish I was eating it there.
Hey man I always enjoy these videos but I'm curious about how different a restaurant might treat someone with a camera while recording everything? Something tells me you're getting the best experience compared to us amateurs haha
From my experience eating at restaurants in Japan....this is par for the course.
Customer service and commitment to excellence is some of the best in the world.
What I notice on all these videos is that the Japanese guys cook the steak completely opposite of what they do in Europe/USA. They always start it slow, instead of throwing it on a searing hot surface.
Because wagyu has so much fat, it needs to be rendered some. If you have it too hot, it will burn/overcook the meat before all the fat renders. So it's more about the type of meat than it is location!
I bet that meal cost a fortune and came with a hefty waiting list 😅 that meat 🤤🤤
Very nice dining, would have been better if there were subtitles available to understand what they were explaining to you.
I’d like to see this chef make a McDonalds Big Mac on that cooking surface.
That first spoonful of soup looked good, just the viscosity showing how creamy and thick it was. Wish I knew what the flavour was. Gotta echo some of the other comments and request subtitles, or even just a caption of each dish.
They show the menu which is great
It was peach…said it on the menu
OCD eater’s paradise
And cheaper than I was expecting.
steak ASMR
Teppanyaki isn't really a dish; rather, it's a method of preparing a dish 🙂
This video reminds me why I should not go to a Mcdonalds.
The last time I ate in a Japanese restaurant I felt like they were playing with my food. My Mrs said I was missing the point as usual.😂😂
I think he almost had a heart attack when he said well done
Only he can make the best garlic steak by teasing and teasing.
that meat looks real tender
Yes
Wow!
When is the find
The garlic technique is like a reverse sear
Hardly
Fish that fell on floor and put in bowl with tiny flowers.... $100 / priceless
would be nice to have dinner some time this week!
Was the steak-on-top-of-garlic-method a gimmick, or could you taste difference in the meat?
Pure Perfection...... Amazing.
But Subs would be nice.
😍😍😍
What do they put under the steak during the first process of cooking?
Garlic
Talk about CLEAN! I would eat at this restaurant anytime.....after I win the lottery!
Watching the care and skill being used on the meal on all the dishes makes me feel lazy and sloppy. x.x Everything looked so delicious.
damn... that steak, man...
With so much respect for preparing food, no wonder they have the best food culture
Ahh man I wish knee Japanese. What was the stuff he melted down in the nori? It kind of looked like cheese but it also kind of also looked like butter lol
Cheese. He shows what the cheese looked like in the packaging. The menu in english lists everything.
The shape in the package would suggest smoked mozzarella.
it is "caciocavallo silano", an Italian Calabrian stretched curd cheese similar to mozzarella, but matured
People are always give me crap about using A1 on a ribeye and these people are dipping wagyu in everything under the sun
Nothing wrong with A1... Don't listen to these people...
But did he make a volcano out of the onion…….
Oh my good god damn that steak… I want to at least smell it lol
3:52 Dude brings out the cheese baby which he earlier suffocated.
Always happens to have a dozen of this wagyu steaks in the fridge for midnight snacks. 300 bucks a piece didn’t seem like a lot when you have it in abundance - totally trolling 😆
edo kiriko glasses for water, if that doesn't set the tone, I don't know what does!
Sarada :D
Watching this while eating my Cup Noodles.
What is the black garnish served with the steak? @11:28
Fresh Green Pepper
I watched an Afghan Chapli Kabab video a sec ago hygene difference is world level.
The technique of steaming the steak over a bed of garlic is so interesting and unique
But pointless
@@jm12green31 Why?
@@simondeloreanserves absolutely no purpose
I disagree, It's a akin to slow cooking the beef to get to temperature (in this case medium rare) and then searing it. Probably gives a nice subtle garlic flavor as well.
