    I just wanted to say thank you, Aden Films. During the Delta wave, I caught COVID and experienced severe shortness of breath and lost my appetite. It was one of the hardest times for me, but your videos kept me company during isolation and gave me some much-needed comfort. I'm truly grateful for the joy you provided when I needed it most.

      @@neetchang Thank you for your kind message. I'm glad to say that I'm healthy now, although the impact of COVID on my work, especially in terms of finances, is still there. After recovering from the Delta variant and receiving a negative PCR test, the first thing I did was look for a ramen restaurant. Even though it wasn't as authentic as in Japan, I hope I can visit Japan one day because it's such a beautiful country.

    I paid attention the next table chef, just seen how she cleaned up after cooking. I really admire that kind of culture. To me , it is not just cooking, but also how much dedication they put in the work, and how much they enjoy working. It is amazing.

    このお店を調べたところ、紀尾井町に在るみたいですね。
    あの辺りでこの店構えの高級鉄板焼だと全然あり得る価格設定ですね。
    このお店に行ったような気分になれました。

    場所代、名前代で本来価値の倍以上になるのは仕方ない。和牛は油が多く次の日胸焼けするので、自分はもはや行く気がしないが。

    was taken by coworkers to one of these in kyoto. I felt so bad because I'm deathly allergic to shellfish. The chefs were wonderful and kept my food isolated from everything else.

    wagyu is lovely, but for me it's all about that exquisite fried rice. the generations of knowledge and technique and commitment to excellence that you can see in the chef's movements are exquisite, and the finished dish is something i would far rather travel for than steak, no matter how good. this was an extremely educational video, thankfully free of a narrator, just showing us how it's done. thank you.

      What are you on? This is just the head chefs preferred way of making it. The person right next to him made it the exact same way. For all you know it was some 2 star Michelin chef from France who made the recipe lol. Also having seen several hundred fried rice videos from Japan I can confidently say this was no different than what they make at the street vendor except the steak juices..... Like onion, garlic, and mushroom in fried rice. "Exquisite?.."

      三重だけど、同グレードの松阪牛が東京なら3倍とられる、家賃分のせるから仕方ないのだよ。渋谷の某有名人がやってる焼肉屋の

    ahah, i was here :D. It's a nice restaurant inside a complex of a big hotel 3 min walk of the Yokohama station. (Literally at the end of the street ^^, but you have multiple entry)
    The view from the hotel is wonderful. To bad i can't post a photo here.

      Thank you for your interest in Japanese restaurants. The reason why I don't cut it is to make it more chewy after baking. This is because Japanese scallops are softer than scallops from other countries

      I'd say this is pretty much the opposite of pretentiousness. It's few high quality ingredients treated with the utmost respect and very simple and classic cooking techniques.

    5:56 She asked "What is this umeboshi (pickled plum) for?"
    Chef answered "Hashi-yasume." meaning chopstick rest or palate cleanser. And he also said in English "Refresh mouse".

    I've been there, not a for a 430$ menu, more like 200-250$, and I honestly thought it was overpriced. The wagyu, prawns and scallops were beautifully cooked, but the side dishes were a bit underwhelming imho. I remember a course was fried rice with roasted garlic, and it was just that: fried rice, with roasted garlic. i like garlic, but that was quite monotonus in flavour. Also, I was there alone, at opening hour, that was the only available spot, and it was not a very joyful experience, being all alone. There was no atmosphere, and I felt a bit awkward seeing all that staff around me, just for me.

    記念日にこの石心亭行ったことあるけど、間違いなく人生で一番美味い料理だったから6万の価値あると感じた。ちなみに苦手だった野菜もここで食べてから苦手感が失くなって食べれるようになった
