I can confirm the E550 did have a touchscreen. I am currently responding to this on an E550 (i5 5200U) with a touchscreen. Bought it new with a dual-boot of Win 7 & 8. I assume the touchscreen was to deal with 8's terrible start menu (never found out as I went to 10 the second the computer came out of the box). The touchscreen version was only around $100 more via Tigerdirect, they went cheap on the RAM and HDD. Both I have since upgraded to 8 gigs of ram and a 500 gig SSD. So a great buy. The only issue (and why I ended up here) is a broken camera after the screen was crushed under a recliner. The fact that the camera was the only thing that broke is a testament to how tough this thing is even without the added durability of its big brothers.
I don't have this specific model, but the e555 with the AMD processor and GPU. Physically the exact same including IO, drives and RAM. Been using mine as my main travel laptop.
I edit on an i7 mobile with integrated graphics, as you can tell I don't have a lot of edits so it doesn't take a long time. If your videos are simple like mine then you'll be fine. If you have lots of tracks and sfx or are editing 4k could be too much
Please I'm using Thinkpad E560 i5 6th gen but I checked the specs online and I found out it using dual video card that's Intel and AMD so i want to ask if can do video show how install an AMD driver on Lenovo Thinkpad i5 e560
They are still on the Lenovo support website. pcsupport.lenovo.com/ca/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-edge-laptops/thinkpad-e560/downloads/driver-list/component?name=Graphics%20Processing%20Units%20%28GPU%29%20and%20Server-AI%20Accelerators
There are models of the E550 that have discrete graphics which you could do light gaming. With the Intel HD graphics you would not get good performance in games

What year was this released? A guy I know owns this and I keep telling him he can’t upgrade to W11 because the laptop doesn’t have TPM 2.0
Released in 2015, here is the PSREF:

My ThinkPad e550 isn't touch ability but it's written pen support. When I open my pc, it shows a keyboard on screen. Does that mean I can use pen?
That model is my daily laptop driver and my wife has an identical one
Nice!
What screen replacement model should I search for if I want to upgrade its screen to a FHD panel? (if there's any)
15.6" FHD 1080P screen FRUs are 04X4812 (AU Optronix) or 04X4813 (Innolux)
I just got one of these myself, I put Linux Mint on it
I have an E550 with an i5 chip i think with 8gbs of ram, would that be able to edit videos or no?

Is this good for gaming for example Minecraft
I think games like Minecraft and Roblox should be ok
is that prepare for gaming?

Would it be fine for low level games?
Sure, 2D games, esports on low settings, emulation, bluestacks for android games
windows ?
Yes
