Yesterday was my (hopefully) last chemotherapy. God has seen me through a stroke 3 years ago, this last October I got a call saying that I tested positive for Lymphoma Cancer, I had my 1st round of chemo and then found out that I had a blood bacteria, so I was taken off all chemo. So for every 4 hours I got an IV in my arm, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for 2 weeks, and total of 4 units of medication to cure my blood bacteria. If it had gotten out of control within hours or a few days, then I could could have died. A few hours can make the difference between life and death with a blood bacteria. I give all the credit and honor to God that I am still alive today because of Him. God is the only reason why I'm still alive today. Whatever you go through in your life, give it to God and allow God to take care of it for you. If the God who brought me through a stroke, lymphoma cancer and a blood bacteria and survived all of them, do you think God can take care of and see you through what you go through in your life? I think so.
If I was going to survive my cancer, my sepsis and my stroke just to be single the rest of my life, then why did I survive. If God had given me the choice survive everything and remain single for the rest of my life or die now and not have to wait to get to heaven. If God had given me that choice I most likely would’ve wanted to die then and not spend the rest of my life being single
I have drifted apart from God in the last 2 years, it has affected me so much, I am not the same person I was, I was patient, I was caring, I was HAPPY. I am not at my best right now, I feel as if I have no one with me, but I know my God will always be there to comfort me through moments like these. God is good, God is great.
Stay in the faith sis, and hold out with King Jesus until the end, I know he still listens to your prayers. :) . Set your heart on the things in heaven. Witness to souls about your life and be a soul saver.

This song has helped me so much. I’ve been struggling with temptation for years now. This is the song I listen to when I feel defeated, at my worst, like the Devil has won. But in listening to this song I’m reminded that Satan hasn’t won and he won’t because God is with me and that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. This song gives me hope; it keeps me going; it helps me remember that God is still there and that He loves me. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. - 2 Corinthians 12:9 ----------------------- This verse has meant so much to me, as all my life I've battled with the mindset that 'if I'm not perfect at everything I try, I'm wrong.' It helps me realize that it's okay to be weak and flawed because God's grace is strong enough to carry my flaws and imperfections. Please pray for me as I continue to fight this idea with the help of God's word and pray that anyone else struggling with this issue will rely on scripture as well.

This is my song this morning on 8/23/14! We had to call 911 this a.m. for my father. He had a stroke in June. My sister is being treated for breast & lung cancer AND we just had our dog of 12.5 years put to sleep. I'm holding onto this song as my prayer to God this a.m.

For everyone here who is talking about their struggles and how they are losing hope and that they are praying to God and whatever the case is for you all. Just remember 1 Peter 5:10 " and the God of all grace, who called you to be His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast." The struggle may feel like a long time even if it's your entire life. It's still a short time to God. He Himself will be there to help you get through and to lift you up when you get through it. Whether it's for life and He's renewing you in a new body free of all sin and pain, or it's helping you get back on your feet after a financial trouble, or a family struggle. But no matter what. God will help you get through it and help you after it.
Amen! I've been through a lot in my life. Everything from being born with scoliosis to the beginning of a drug addiction. I witnessed two of my best friends in high school die of a drug overdose and suicide. That was probably the lowest point of my life. God got me through all of it. If not for Him I'd be dead for sure. Every breath I take is because of Him. Even this week my oldest friend lost her son to a drunk driver. I know heaven got one more angel. That is giving ALL of us a tremendous amount peace.

It was a little church in San Antonio, and you were playing your guitar and singing no live band but man did you rock. I've been trying to stay strong but I realized that I am weak. I didn't want to admit that I was but I gave up, I lied to myself saying that I can do everything by myself but the truth is I can't. Jehovah is strong when I am weak, and my advice to people is don't lie to yourself, it's okay to admit that you are weak and need help, sometimes you'll need a helping hand. Don't be scare to admit your lack of confidence. You can't fake it until you make it, living a honest life is better than living a lie. Admit your weaknesses to The Lord and He WILL give you strength

For all of us---none of us could ever be strong enough on our own!! We were not meant to be--otherwise God would not have sent His only son Jesus to pay the terrible price on the cross for our sins. God is so good and so faithful. He has been with me through 36 years of Lupus and organ failure and the raising of my 2 sons and divorces. He knows we will fail. We go to Him and He picks us up again and again--He is so faithful to us. He has intervened more than 20 times to let me live when the doctors gave up all hope. I am 61 now and I feel I will go home soon, but it is in God's hands, not mine. I am so thankful that I have never been strong enough--I have so much love for God and His son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and I wouldn't change a thing.

Sitting beside the love of my life dying. There is nothing left to be done but keep her comfortable. I am here every night caring for her. I feel so much peace and respect for life. When I am not with her, I am trying to provide comfort and support to her family. Deep inside my stomach I feel a fire, but I do not burn, this fire brings me the drive I need. As if all the things I was, is being burned away, and all that remains is a pure love for the gift of life I have been given. I feel so much strength, stronger than I have ever felt in my life. There is no way this could come from myself, for I feel like the self has been shed and all my words and actions are coming from that fire.

I am going through a difficult period in life. Nothing is going the way I want it to, I feel that no one actually cares about me, I keep having anxiety attacks and depression, and there is nothing to look forward in life. I want to give up. However, I know that God will always be by my side, and with God, I can do anything. I can accomplish anything I want. There was a time only a month or so ago; that I didn't think I was strong enough, and that GOD was either not paying attention or had forsaken me. I was beyond broken. But I found HIS strength in HIS Word. And this song says it all!
When you survive a stroke a blood bacteria and lymphoma cancer then you have different perspective on life. I wasn't strong enough to survive all that, but you know what? God is. God has gotten me through so much. It's by the grace of God that I'm alive today. I give God all the credit for me surviving everything.
It’s been 5 years since I was diagnosed with cancer, and I’m still alive by the Grace of God. In June or July I’ll be 5 years Cancer free. We aren’t strong enough to go through the adversity we go through in life, but with God we are strong enough to get through the adversity.

It's currently midnight and I'm stressed because I'm backed up on homework, I'm not getting hours at work and I'm out of money because I need all of it to fix my car. It's hard to get a job because taking the bus everywhere is extremely limiting. I'm just looking forward to summer even though I hate the heat because I NEED a break from school and it'll be easier to get a job. I've lately felt like breaking down because I just can't get through the rest of this semester alone. I really needed this song. It reminded me that I don't need to be able to make it on my own because God will guide me through. He will provide and everything will be ok.

So I was in rehab for drug addiction at literally reached the end of what I could handle. I went outside and started praying and said God I need some encouragement. I pit on pandora and this was the first song I heard. Later on that night my mom and I were talking on the phone and she said that I needed to listen to a song she heard on her way home. I immediately knew it was this. I was like "ok God now you are just showing off"

I have been battling depression for years now with little to no improvement. I have no one I can talk to and can’t go to therapy. I got a sign from God a few months ago that my life is on the right path. I’m just really hoping it is. There is no reason why a 15 year old should have dealt with depression for close to 5 years.
We all have days in out life where things seem impossible to overcome! - But God in his mercy gave us His son in our place to do what we could not. He hung on the cross taking upon him every since we would commit. - Praise be to Jesus who loves us so much and looks after us, giving us breath everyday to fulfill the great things he planned long ago.

This verse has meant so much to me, as all my life I've battled with the mindset that 'if I'm not perfect at everything I try, I'm wrong.' It helps me realize that it's okay to be weak and flawed because God's grace is strong enough to carry my flaws and imperfections. For everyone here who is talking about their struggles and how they are losing hope and that they are praying to God and whatever the case is for you all. Just remember 1 Peter 5:10 " and the God of all grace, who called you to be His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast." The struggle may feel like a long time even if it's your entire life. It's still a short time to God. He Himself will be there to help you get through and to lift you up when you get through it. Whether it's for life and He's renewing you in a new body free of all sin and pain, or it's helping you get back on your feet after a financial trouble, or a family struggle. But no matter what. God will help you get through it and help you after it.
Amen! I've been through a lot in my life. Everything from being born with scoliosis to the beginning of a drug addiction. I witnessed two of my best friends in high school die of a drug overdose and suicide. That was probably the lowest point of my life. God got me through all of it. If not for Him I'd be dead for sure. Every breath I take is because of Him. Even this week my oldest friend lost her son to a drunk driver. I know heaven got one more angel. That is giving ALL of us a tremendous amount peace.

I've been trying to stay strong but I realized that I am weak. I didn't want to admit that I was but I gave up, I lied to myself saying that I can do everything by myself but the truth is I can't. Jehovah is strong when I am weak, and my advice to people is don't lie to yourself, it's okay to admit that you are weak and need help, sometimes you'll need a helping hand. Don't be scare to admit your lack of confidence. You can't fake it until you make it, living a honest life is better than living a lie. Admit your weaknesses to The Lord and He WILL give you strength

God is so good and so faithful. He has been with me through 36 years of Lupus and organ failure and the raising of my 2 sons and divorces. He knows we will fail. We go to Him and He picks us up again and again--He is so faithful to us. He has intervened more than 20 times to let me live when the doctors gave up all hope. I am 61 now and I feel I will go home soon, but it is in God's hands, not mine. I am so thankful that I have never been strong enough--I have so much love for God and His son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and I wouldn't change a thing.

When I am not with her, I am trying to provide comfort and support to her family. Deep inside my stomach I feel a fire, but I do not burn, this fire brings me the drive I need. As if all the things I was, is being burned away, and all that remains is a pure love for the gift of life I have been given. I feel so much strength, stronger than I have ever felt in my life. There was a time only a month or so ago; that I didn't think I was strong enough, and that GOD was either not paying attention or had forsaken me. I was beyond broken. But I found HIS strength in HIS Word. And this song says it all!
When you survive a stroke a blood bacteria and lymphoma cancer then you have different perspective on life. I wasn't strong enough to survive all that, but you know what? God is. God has gotten me through so much. It's by the grace of God that I'm alive today. I give God all the credit for me surviving everything.
It’s been 5 years since I was diagnosed with cancer, and I’m still alive by the Grace of God. In June or July I’ll be 5 years Cancer free. We aren’t strong enough to go through the adversity we go through in life, but with God we are strong enough to get through the adversity.

So I was in rehab for drug addiction at literally reached the end of what I could handle. I went outside and started praying and said God I need some encouragement. I have been battling depression for years now with little to no improvement. I have no one I can talk to and can’t go to therapy. I got a sign from God a few months ago that my life is on the right path. I’m just really hoping it is. There is no reason why a 15 year old should have dealt with depression for close to 5 years.

i believe Phillipians 4:13, finally feel like I have actually hit rock bottom am praying to God about the next step in my life, and kinda feel lost and tired. Relying on God's grace for everything i feel like am in a silent cave still waiting on God. He is God and knows it all
