Yesterday was my (hopefully) last chemotherapy. God has seen me through a stroke 3 years ago, this last October I got a call saying that I tested positive for Lymphoma Cancer, I had my 1st round of chemo and then found out that I had a blood bacteria, so I was taken off all chemo. So for every 4 hours I got an IV in my arm, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for 2 weeks, and total of 4 units of medication to cure my blood bacteria. If it had gotten out of control within hours or a few days, then I could could have died. A few hours can make the difference between life and death with a blood bacteria. I give all the credit and honor to God that I am still alive today because of Him. God is the only reason why I'm still alive today. Whatever you go through in your life, give it to God and allow God to take care of it for you. If the God who brought me through a stroke, lymphoma cancer and a blood bacteria and survived all of them, do you think God can take care of and see you through what you go through in your life? I think so.

After struggling with depression, and at my worst, I woke up with this song in my head. I hadn't heard it in months. I know God put it there. I know I can do whatever's next, and I know he's with me, and I know that there's more to live for.

I have drifted apart from God in the last 2 years, it has affected me so much, I am not the same person I was, I was patient, I was caring, I was HAPPY. I am not at my best right now, I feel as if I have no one with me, but I know my God will always be there to comfort me through moments like these. God is good, God is great.

This song has helped me so much. I’ve been struggling with temptation for years now. This is the song I listen to when I feel defeated, at my worst, like the Devil has won. But in listening to this song I’m reminded that Satan hasn’t won and he won’t because God is with me and that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. This is my song this morning on 8/23/14! We had to call 911 this a.m. for my father. He had a stroke in June. My sister is being treated for breast & lung cancer AND we just had our dog of 12.5 years put to sleep. I'm holding onto this song as my prayer to God this a.m.

This verse has meant so much to me, as all my life I've battled with the mindset that 'if I'm not perfect at everything I try, I'm wrong.' It helps me realize that it's okay to be weak and flawed because God's grace is strong enough to carry my flaws and imperfections. Please pray for me as I continue to fight this idea with the help of God's word and pray that anyone else struggling with this issue will rely on scripture as well.

He died and suffered and knows all of our earthly pain. He lived it and will never leave us or forsake us in any of our trials and temptations. I think God stuck this song in my head for a reason BC I ain't heard it or any Christian song in prolly 2 or 3 years and I've been struggling with alcohol very bad for the past few years I keep trying to quit BC I'm a very bad alcoholic and I just caught my self think the other day that I wasn't strong enough to quit and i just gave up and said forget it im done trying to quit BC I keep relapsing and this song just randomly popped in my head and I think God is trying to remind me that when I'm weak and keep losing to fleshly desires that he's strong enough for the both of us that hell carry me through this and help me kick the habit prayers please

We may not always be strong to be with life struggles, but God always is. He carries us in the darkest times when all hope seems lost and we feel abandoned by everyone in this world. I am reminded of the "footprints" poem, where we think even God has left us, but He is really the one carrying us through everything. I have endured significant childhood abuse, sexual, emotional and physical abuse, and the only one I have ever felt totally understood and could take away the pain was God. Many people would turn to drugs, alcohol, self-harm, etc in my situation, but somehow God has pulled me through this. I still suffer from PTSD, but learning to trust again and form new relationships. God is greater than all our pain and will take care of us always!!!

There was a time only a month or so ago; that I didn't think I was strong enough, and that GOD was either not paying attention or had forsaken me. I was beyond broken. But I found HIS strength in HIS Word. And this song says it all!

When you survive a stroke a blood bacteria and lymphoma cancer then you have different perspective on life. I wasn't strong enough to survive all that, but you know what? God is. God has gotten me through so much. It's by the grace of God that I'm alive today. I give God all the credit for me surviving everything.
It’s been 5 years since I was diagnosed with cancer, and I’m still alive by the Grace of God. In June or July I’ll be 5 years Cancer free. We aren’t strong enough to go through the adversity we go through in life, but with God we are strong enough to get through the adversity.

For everyone here who is talking about their struggles and how they are losing hope and that they are praying to God and whatever the case is for you all. Just remember 1 Peter 5:10 " and the God of all grace, who called you to be His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast." The struggle may feel like a long time even if it's your entire life. It's still a short time to God. He Himself will be there to help you get through and to lift you up when you get through it. Whether it's for life and He's renewing you in a new body free of all sin and pain, or it's helping you get back on your feet after a financial trouble, or a family struggle. But no matter what. God will help you get through it and help you after it.
Amen! I've been through a lot in my life. Everything from being born with scoliosis to the beginning of a drug addiction. I witnessed two of my best friends in high school die of a drug overdose and suicide. That was probably the lowest point of my life. God got me through all of it. If not for Him I'd be dead for sure. Every breath I take is because of Him. Even this week my oldest friend lost her son to a drunk driver. I know heaven got one more angel. That is giving ALL of us a tremendous amount peace.

When I am not with her, I am trying to provide comfort and support to her family. Deep inside my stomach I feel a fire, but I do not burn, this fire brings me the drive I need. As if all the things I was, is being burned away, and all that remains is a pure love for the gift of life I have been given. I feel so much strength, stronger than I have ever felt in my life. There is no way this could come from myself, for I feel like the self has been shed and all my words and actions are coming from that fire.

I'm not a "religious" person but I am spiritual. I started listening to matthew west while I was in active addiction. He kinda opened my eyes a bit. Eventually I over came that and have been sober over 3 years now. Now my mind still struggles with the idea of "god" as I scriptures but I do believe in a higher power, that higher power to.me has been the amazing group of people I have surrounded my self with.
I love this song I was not strong enough when my father abused me my biological dad I never got to move on. No matter how hard I tried so I just walked out on my family just like that my mom just packed up and Miss got divorced and everything is back to normal and then my mom got remarried new family I am damn of faithful my chains are now broken. So I sing for joy and I'm not giving up my dreams. 37 years old living as an adult. Living with Down Syndrome struggling every year to go through surgery. And my biological father was not there since the last 25 years and never showed up at the front door so I had enough of it so I'm going to continue singing what this new family has made me into a soldier and it takes bravery to stand up to your enemies and keeping your friends closer. I love Jesus Christ with all my heart for the best 37 years of my life.

God is so good and so faithful. He has been with me through 36 years of Lupus and organ failure and the raising of my 2 sons and divorces. He knows we will fail. We go to Him and He picks us up again and again--He is so faithful to us. He has intervened more than 20 times to let me live when the doctors gave up all hope. I am 61 now and I feel I will go home soon, but it is in God's hands, not mine. I am so thankful that I have never been strong enough--I have so much love for God and His son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and I wouldn't change a thing.

I have been battling depression for years now with little to no improvement. I have no one I can talk to and can’t go to therapy. I got a sign from God a few months ago that my life is on the right path. I’m just really hoping it is. There is no reason why a 15 year old should have dealt with depression for close to 5 years.
If you ever need to talk I am willing to listen.
After about 15 years I have asked God to enter my heart again!!!!! I am so humbled!!! I know I am a sinner and of the world but I will put on the armour of God and he will fight for me!!

I struggled with bipolar disorder and lost everything I found out Jesus and father God in heaven are my only true companions on this earth People I thought loved me turned against me especially when I spoke about Jesus but it only made my love for Christ stronger I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength
So I was in rehab for drug addiction at literally reached the end of what I could handle. I went outside and started praying and said God I need some encouragement. I pit on pandora and this was the first song I heard. Later on that night my mom and I were talking on the phone and she said that I needed to listen to a song she heard on her way home. I immediately knew it was this. I was like "ok God now you are just showing off"

It was a little church in San Antonio, and you were playing your guitar and singing no live band but man did you rock. I've been trying to stay strong but I realized that I am weak. I didn't want to admit that I was but I gave up, I lied to myself saying that I can do everything by myself but the truth is I can't. Jehovah is strong when I am weak, and my advice to people is don't lie to yourself, it's okay to admit that you are weak and need help, sometimes you'll need a helping hand. Don't be scare to admit your lack of confidence. You can't fake it until you make it, living a honest life is better than living a lie. Admit your weaknesses to The Lord and He WILL give you strength

I'm an autistic girl 29 yrs old and obese due to a pregnancy gone very very wrong a couple years ago and I just haven't been able to lose the weight.. and I've caught covid... I'm so so scared. On day 2 of isolating. My anniversary is on Friday and if I'm feeling better I can end isolation Thursday. It's Monday.... Everyone is telling me I'll be fine but I'm still terrified inside. God... Jesus... Help me please.... I'm not strong enough for this.

All I can say is 2 years ago I was going through a lot and I felt as though I was going to lose my mind I heard this song on SiriusXM channel 63 I started crying and praying. This is one of the songs that helped to bring me closer to God I absolutely LOVE Matthew West! This song and many others of his are God sent. I truly do believe that he isn't WALKING with me, he's CARRYING my children and I. Because some days idk how I've come this far and still have my sanity! I pray that God gives everyone here seeking healing, an answered prayer, a way out of financial debt, or the same as me a family situation you can't get away from a way out; I pray that God answers EVERY prayer every need, I pray he heals every aching heart, every sick mind and just sends his angels to cover each and every one of you with abundance. I've never felt so defeated as I did yesterday and not even for myself but for my mom who was treated horribly at work by the human resources manager. He spoke to her disrespectfully and ended the meeting by speaking victory because he made her cry. He was proud and boasted about breaking her. It made me feel anger. Anger I haven't felt in a very long time. To see your mother's spirit shattered the way hers was. This song though... I know that not of the evil and wrongs are from God. Through the tears and sadness, my mom said that she knew God was with her. I'm so proud of her. I pray for her spirit to be restored. I know God has greater plans for her. I know He never leaves her or forsakes her and He'd never give her more than she can handle. To Him be the glory because through Him no trial is impossible to overcome. Please pray for my mom.

There were times where I felt like I wanted to give up on my faith. I am sooo happy to have Jesus as my savior. He was my protector since I was a kid. Now that Im a 26 yr old Adult, I realized I need him in my life more than anything. I do still hv my own struggles. But I could never give up on God, Even if things do get to difficult to handle. Especially, Not after what all he's done for me. He was there for me back in 2011 when I had a asthma attack that nearly killed me. He saved me and Im glad he entered into my life when He did. Im standing here before My Friends and Family because of what God has done. Thank You Jesus for everything and Im sorry I dnt thank you enough. I love you.
