He just came second in the Eurovision Song Contest, representing the UK (so it was a feat to get any points). You should totally react to his performance, he was amazing :D
Absolutely and if not for the sad circumstances of the past few months, would have given the UK its first win in 25 years.
He won the contest hands down. But the final vote of solidarity was very important. He was more than ok with that. We are all watching from the sidelines in this horrendous time, any message of love and support to Ukraine will have been welcomed.

I'd never heard of this guy until he released his UK Eurovision entry "Space Man" just over a week ago and I'm from the UK...What a singer ....Roll over Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith. Sam Ryder is ANAZING.....I'm sure this year the UK will be right up there and maybe win .

I’ll tell you this. I grew up on Michael Jackson. Heard just about everything in his music collection. It is NOT easy to sing like him. Sam does it and legit with a smile. Just absolutely amazing the range he has vocally. The ONLY other male I’d put him up against is a young Axel Rose. That right there would be a superb vocal battle.

Never heard of this guy until Eurovision but wow. Just wow. My favourite track so far is the one he does in Leeds. This Woman’s work. Originally a Kate Bush song. Gave me the chills. It was THAT good. I think I have listened to everything of his now on Tik Tok and You Tube. Brilliant. Best voice I’ve heard in a long long time ❤️

I only came across Sam like last week , dont ask me questions !!! Lol I know its bad !! But needles to say I am absolutely obsessed like proper obsessed ! Im subbed to him on here and on tik tok I have never had a males voice do things to me like his does !!! I get immediate goosebumps and my heart beats a million times out my chest listening to him while lay in bed ready to sleep 💤 one of the most peaceful things ever ! Like absolute diamonds and gold ! Best male singer out there in my opinion and thats comparing him to some of the most known singers ! Hes so natural and doesn't need to use anything to edit his natural given voice I just wish though he wouldn't treat it kinda like a karaoke because hes actually way way better than that !! He acts like its easy for example "just eat a soup before you do this" no one is going to eat a soup and sound that god damn good !!! That's a fact ! If your reading the comment sam i doubt you am but dont underestimate your abilities you are way way way way better than you think! How your not already up there in the charts is beyond me ! We need a good singer like you here in the uk 🇬🇧 so so different but in the most amazing way!!!

id consider myself a music newbie. but if my experience doesnt fool me this guy has such a great range, and color of tone in his voice. lets not start talking about the power behind it, as well as the cleanliness of the low, and high notes, while maintaining his chest voice. normally this would be considered female range up top. when i saw alicia keys listening to his tik tok singing along, even she was singing it much deeper :D this guy feels it, and in my opinion i believe every word of his. so authentic! if this is all bullcrap, pls let me know.
