This has to be without doubt the single most effective sparring teaching lesson on the internet.
Thank you so much.

Andrew Law thank you
Only few people teach real stuff on RUclips. This deserves more likes and views.
Love the teaching. I miss good ITF schools
I noticed in some of your video, you can punch in the face. Most TKD sparring only allow body shots with your fist but you can go for head shots with your foot. Why is that?
In ITF TKD it's ok to punch the face as long as it isn't a super hard hit in sparring
Wat about having ur hands up???
It looks like they don't have mouthguards, and van Roon mentioned "he knows you can only kick middle [section/height]" (1:30 mark) so it would seem head attacks are not allowed in this drill specifically! Probably to force them to work more on the footwork aspects. In normal sparring they'd be more likely to keep their guard higher I suppose.
@@BreakTheYagura thanks for explaining this to me sir
I watch all your videos. Greatness. Just remember my friends, we did not evolve. We are created by a loving God.
They would get mashed against a good street fighter prancing about
Of course if that guy had about 100lbs on them or had some wrestling experience, but against someone near their size who just swings bombs I'd pick them. Their distance & timing is great & they're practicing a specific drill which doesn't allow them to strike with their full arsenal. Also some of these pitter patter kicks can be surprisingly hard. I've been dropped with body kicks that didn't even appear too hard.
