Btw the fact that you can tell each one has been used and still in excellent shape really says a lot about the collection. Again very nice brother!
You had an awesome grandfather
I did indeed, thank you!
Man you have a very nice traditional knife collection. Really enjoyed every minute of the video.
Thank you sir, it keeps growing since I posted the video. I will have to do an update sometime.
Great review! I fell in love with GEC during this video. I have started my collection focus to traditional. I have some nice Case slipjoints but haven’t yet ventured into the GEC world. Until now!!!! Thanks 🔪❤️🔪
Watching 10/30/21 and despite you saying “big words”, your video is still up. Thanks for sharing! Great collection. I really really need more traditionals in my life. Hope all is well.
Sweat knife collection my friend I just started mine my dad recently past away an left me his knife collection an I love collecting them when I'm out an about at antique stores or garage sales or hardware store an love it when I find one that I don't have nice video you have enjoyed watching it have a BLESS DAY AN GOD BLESS
I love that you actually use these knives. This is the most interesting knife video ive seen in months. Great collection.
Love the overview dude! Might get me a Case Swayback now.
Thank you sir! You probably won’t be disappointed with that particular Case, they seem to put a lot of effort into it.
Hard to find! I have a 2010 stag Tony Bose. Great knife!
Fabulous collection!!! Great video! Thanks for sharing this!!!
Thank you!
Love those GEC's
Right now they are my favorite knives, but I’m on a slipjoint kick these days.
@@TheKnifeJunkie I love a good slip joint, when I was in the Navy I like my 2550 Benchmade but now I favor a simple full size Swiss army type knife. Mine is an imported Schrade from the 90's. One of those knives many don't know of. Thinner but properly treated blades that dont bend or dull easily. Made in Germany tang stamp of ISC which stands for Imperial Schrade Corp..
Very nice collection and you use your knives. That's what they're for.Great video
Thank you sir! I'm ashamed to say it's almost time to make a new one!
Love the back pocket case carhartt. My dad would enjoy that and he’s got a massive antique case collection
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed watching this video. Pure passion! 👌
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Great video and beautiful knife collection. Atb paddy.
Thanks Paddy!
Probably one of the nicest collections anyone has shown . Enjoyed it.
Very interesting. I live when people show their collections and especially when they share the little stories behind each one. Thanks.
The wood handled knife next to the pickle green is called a powderhorn or wharncliffe pattern
Amber jigged bone is my favorite too! My granddad’s knives were always that color. Nice collection. I have the same swayback jack, same covers even.
Wow, very nice knife collection! Seeing your collection makes me really want to buy a GEC knife. I thought they were expensive for non locking knives. But yours were all so classy.
Seeing your collection I feel like I’m going back in time! Your collection is so beautiful and focused
Thank you sir--I think at least one GEC is a must, and surely one leads to more.
I think you are right. I need at least one lol
I’ve been trying to obtain a GEC. It’s so dang hard to get one and not get gouged. Best of luck!!! Yesterday, I did see a Remington gunstock GEC that’s available.
Beautiful collection brother I’d like to see more traditional knives videos!!!!!! It was nice to see thank you!!!!!
My pleasure, maybe more in depth traditional reviews on the way.
The very first second the video started I got so excited. I love traditional knives!!!
Really enjoyed your video, you have great taste in traditional pocket cutlery! Thanks for showing
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Everytime i head down to the smokey mountains i go to that Knifeworks store outside of Pigeon Forge and buy a new case knife sometimes ill buy 2
Awesome collection...thanks for sharing 😷👍
In love with that green Northfield trapper. Cant seem to find one anywhere and now I have an itch that must be scratched. Great collection, cap'n.
Thank you. Good luck hunting one down!
Great video of a fine collection. I enjoyed watching it.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice traditional sampling.
Thank you, I love you shop!
I really like the Waarnclife blades😊
Great traditional knife collection.
Thanks Rusty!
This could be my favorite TKJ video!
nice to see knives that look used
Such a well balanced and interesting collection.
At least 2 of those knives have been used to scrape resin out of a pipe.
At least.
Very cool collection
I like your knowledge an history of knifes
Nice collection there buddy
Nice collection.
The love of our Treasured Knives ....
Thank you for sharing! Bob JMJ
This video is my heaven!
So cool to see all this covid traditionals ... I love watching this style of videos thanks for sharing...
My pleasure sir!
@@TheKnifeJunkie that IXL knife is Wolstenholmstien I'll show myself out now thanks for sharing the collection.
Very nice collection bob!! I’ve got several traditional knives but no GEC’s! I need to change that but they can be hard to get sometimes. That #6 and gunstock are my 2 favorites!!
The #6 is sooo tiny, but sweet.
I have the same model of green GEC tapper withe the Wharncliff balde. The name of that model is the "Sweet Pickle".
That was one of the best half hours I have spent in a very long time. When
Cool stuff Knife Junkie ⚔️⚖️🗡️⚖️⚔️
subscribing because of this beautiful collection!
Very nice 👌
Thanks 😊
Call me a heretic, but you should buy the Rough Ryder buckshot bone teardrop. I have GEC knives, Case/Bose collaboration knives, Solingen knives, File & Wire knives and Hen and Roosters. I’m not kidding when I tell you, I was blown away by the fit and finish and I’ve never seen anything like the buckshot cover treatment. Worth $15 for sure.
I agree, you heretic ;)... I had the Buckshot Barlow, which was awesome. I regrettably gave it away, but I've the models of that whole series.
Sweet
Sweet collection! Saluti from Germany. Johnny
1:37 Wostenholm Sheffield knife
BTW, the 3p's stand for Premiere Pattern Production. Handmade in Titusville, Pennsylvania
Thank you--I can never remember that, especially in a pinch! I will have to write it down for the next time (which means I have to get another PPP so there is a next time... and like that another GEC purchase is justified in my head).
10:02 Still here
I have almost the exact same little boker pin knife but it’s a jack knife. Kind of weird that they made it with the blades on opposite ends as well.
first knife a Wostenholm ,sheffield. england.
Hey brother, just wanted to recommend a knife I think you would appreciate. The smith and sons mudbug, it’s really a sodbuster pattern that locks. It’s made by gec also.
Wow!! Impressive! The gunstock is probably my favorite. I like the size and wood looks amazing. 🔥🍻
Thank you sir!
beautiful collection! would you mind shooting a video on how to tie these leather lanyards? :)
That's a good suggestion, will do!
you should try a canoe pattern ,the thinness of a single blade but with 2 blades
I too love a Canoe, but if you're looking for a slim knife with a fairly large blade you might want to try Copperlock!
@@esoteric5277 i have several mini and full sized copperlocks ,love them
Where can I find some original vintage 1800s/early 1990s WW1/2 pocket knives for sale?
Hi and thx for the vid.
Actually a really great collection!
Btw: Your Penbroke is a Pemberton (Coke...you know 😉)
All the best from Saxonia/Germany,
Tom.
I am sure someone in the comments already said the very first knife is imperial xl
They used those letters to say I excel. IXL say it fast
But great collection vid!
Thank you sir!
I gave you a thumbs up for telling youtube 🖕 nice knives also.
Thank you sir!
Production pattern premiere
Thank you!
Wow that gec 15 jigged bone 2 blade is amazing!! interested in trading your favorite gec
Hah--no sir, but thanks for asking. When I bought that, there were all these other 15s available (one-arm, single clip, etc.) but I didn't get them not knowing they wouldn't always be available. Live and learn.
cool, and not too long if one is interested, imho.
Victorinox recruit.
Video still up 6 months later
I know, when the collection has grown exponentially since. Well, consider it an historical record.
Grandpa calls spey blade a "flesh" blade. He's 84 and had over 300 Case knives...
That's so direct, I love it. It also makes me want to cross my legs.
Some of those blades used to be stamped flesh only - or something like that
I've found me a 110 buçk knife made in the u.s.a.!
Get a bigger box, then you can lie down the knives, saves scratching up the bolsters🤔
Working “persons” knife lmao
Dude all that cooking stuff ,meat and muffins sounds like girl talk
Hello, I love the knifes. I collect "rough rider" I'm looking for a knife enthusiast who could send me the product in France at a lower cost for transport and I too can send products from France at a lower cost. God bless
You should start making videos of your collection.
@@sheltermonkey6065 Hello, I have already made 3 videos and I should post them soon because I want to be sure I can get involved but with my passion for knife making I wonder
I think those keywords possibly have more of an effect when they are said within the first 30 seconds or so of the video.
And to be taken down I think at least one person needs to report it.
Cool, mum's the word!
0:35 No you didn't 'just paint it black'. You made it tactical.
Sorry guy, but unless you say "Covid will magically disappear by April' all you got was a Kelloggs Cornflakes ad.
Try harder next video.
Thank you for the tip, I'll try that on the next one!
@@TheKnifeJunkie I was just joking, don't go and do that.
