I believe the first run of the Queen jumbo trappers were made by Bear & Son because the brown saw cut bone looks just like that Remington Barlow Bear & Son made for 2022 .
When you were going over the Arthur Wright Sheepsfoot, the 1980s Goalkeeper, Neville Southall came to mind. He was famous for starting games looking like he'd just finished one. Rough, tough, dishevelled and one of the best shot-stoppers that game has ever seen.
Great group of knives!! I totally agree that your AW&Sons is a sheepsfoot. Also, i freaking love the winchester black boxes. I have the same moose you have but ive never carried it. I carry the sowbelly and the coffin jack Winchesters. Great video. Keep it up!
The Old Timer is 1070 carbon i believe. The reason they put two springs on muskrats is because the spring will wear out quickly with two blades in that pattern i believe or something like that. I myself believe the jumbo trappers are made in the USA. SMKW makes so many mistakes on their online listings.
how do you keep the the gr alpin sharp? does it not dull every time you have it closed? especially if the blade moves around at all closed its just destroying your edge
It's just the tip area that touches the backspring. As long as I'm careful closing the blade it's fine. Most french knives have the blade rest on the backspring.
@@thunderbolt5354nah, it’s objectively true. There are companies that roll out much better fit & finish much better materials. Case is better than most, but smaller companies like GEC make objectively better knives.

Awesome knives! I wish I could carry other knives but I find really hard to let the victorinox tinker small out of my pocket......

You mention a couple times over the handful of videos I’ve watched having doubles of certain knives just different covers. Can we get a video on them?
