Getting back to the retro 3.75 line from Marvel Legends and filling the gaps in my collection from the last two waves and then they announce that the line is being ‘rested’.
So what’s that mean exactly? Has the line finished? Will we see more added further down the line?
One more wave set to drop and then that’s it so there’s still a few more reviews to come…. keep an eye on the channel!

Colllectors sadly didn''t realize the point of this line, which was not about articulation but providing the unique opportunity to get the most iconic representation of our comic book characters from the late 70s and early 80s, like a "what if they were on sale back in the day?". Regular 6" don't provide this magic. Displaying them is fantastic, The line is pretty solid. I want Hasbro to come back and complete at least the "John Byrne era" UNCANNY X-MEN team (Colossus, Nightcrawler...) and core characters still missing like Doctor Strange. Please do that as a gift for all the fans who strongly believe in this exceptionnal line.

      @RegisEmmanuelSuire Год назад +4

@@aqshal4084 I disagree and here is the problem => I was not collecting the marvel universe 3.75 because these were not the figures I was looking for. Articulation was there, but proportions and overall shape of the figure was not. The retro line had the shape of the figures that I wanted, with heroes wearing suits from the 70's and 80's that I wanted (more iconic). Not everything should be about articulation. Now I have nothing left to buy

They still have yet to do character like Doctor Strange, iron fist, wasp, hawkeye,Blade,Punisher, and other villains like Dormammu, Red Skull, Baron Zemo, and it would have been cool to have gotten Surtur about the same size as the robot sentinels

so gutted they're stopping just as I discover and get the buzz, I've got 16 card backs plus the Ghost Rider in my collection so far.

What got me into the line was how many Fantastic Four characters were being released. I'm not just talking about the OG members but all the alternative teams too. I mean we got a Ghost Rider and classic Power Man / Luke Cage, who ever believed that would happen? My biggest regret is we're missing Byrnes era She-Hulk.

Gutted. I love them. Have the entire carded collection on my wall!! Was realy looking forward to where they would take it.. was hoping for Prof. X, Banshee, Kingpin, a HUGE Galactus, Lizard, OG Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D, Punisher. The Ghost Rider figure is great, but wish it had the box with clear window.. little things really. I hope they will bring them back, but now the SDCC reveals of the Spider-Man animated show run and X Men 97, as well as the new 4" Legends figures, it looks like the have been "stealth" cancelled :(

I love this line and have tried to pick every one of them up when I see them (sometimes 2, because I’m an opener but these look absolutely awesome hanging carded on my wall) but I haven’t seen a new wave hit my area in about a year and I check my local stores a LOT. Add to that the fact that you can’t find these on the Target or Walmart apps very easily - if at all - and you can kind of see why the line faltered. Damn shame. Great vid, thanks for the bad news! (No seriously, great video as always!)

If you want to be technical Hasbro has been making those 3 3/4 inch figures with basic articulation selling them in conjunction with the main Legends line. they were available at stores like Family Dollar or Dollar General or Big Lots so they have always been on and off with that particular style of action figures

It is simply the best collection of Marvel figures that Hasbro has released with the Kenner label, because they have enormous quality. The Kenner 3.75" Retro Spider-
Man is far superior to the 4" Epic Spider-Man. I don't think Hasbro will end the Marvel Kenner retro 3.75" line, it had huge sales. But the price was very high and the
stock in the stores was very full. They also made the mistake of repeating figures. They still need to release more Spider villains -Man in his classic designs such
as: Doctor Octupus, Lizard, Vultere, Mysterio, Kraven, Rhino, Shocker, Morbius, Tomston, Carnage and Kingpin. All those figures in their classic designs are money in
sales... and villains of the Marvel Universe : Ultron, Red Skull, Super Skull, Mole Man, Mephisto, Beyonder, Sentry, Gladiator and of course Thanos in 4" and Galactus
in 12" in their classic designs would be successful in sales... and from Marvel Superheroes: Iron Fist, Jessica Jones to complete the Defenders and Spiderman 2099 and
the new best figure: Dr. Strange or Punisher classic design (Habro Kenner retro, take my money)... It would be great to see in this collection all the remaining X-Men:
Beast, Nightcrowler, Colosus, Kitty Pryte, Rogue, Gambit, Bishop with their villains: Mister Sinister, Omega Red, Sabretooth, Sebastian Saw and Apocalypse. Those
characters in the figures of this series are money in sales. But the problem is the licenses for the new X-Men 90s animation and its line of figures in Epic 4”, I
think the licenses clash... and Namor to complet the classic Avengers colection in his original desings.
In the end, the customers decide and I don't see the Marvel Epic 4" line figures having good sales, the Marvel Kenner Retro 3.75" figures had better sales.

A punisher would have been nice as well as a Scarlett Witch to go with Vision, a Colossus and Nightcrawler to round out the classic X-Men, a She-hulk (any, FF, Savage or Avengers, hint, more repaints Harsbro!), Alpha Flight, Hobgoblin, etc etc. I think Hasbro has proven time and again, they like to bait people, then do the old switcheroo at the end, which should be pissing people off enough to boycott Hasbro products altogether, but people's addictions are so deep that's next to impossible, so they'll continue to screw us every time and laugh about it all the way to the bank!

@@JacobsToys i found more videos on this line. it appears that the Dino-Mech-Strike toys at my Walmart and the 1 Hulk figure are from this line. i just assumed they were the same size and articulation as the Black panther figures on the pegs (since you can't see inside the boxes without windows, and the hulk is bigger anyways). I like the idea, but so far the selection is for figures i already have...and many. Back when Marvel Universe made 3.75" figures of the Iron Man movie, they made dozens upon dozens of Iron Man.
