    Ghostses, Nice “Dissection of a HF tire” video. Been awhile since we heard from you. Hope all is well with you and the family!

      Thanks Mac. Yeah, it's been awhile. We lost my father-in-law late last year so we've been dealing with everything. Other than that, all is well. G.

    Like most things from Harbor Freight a little clean-up, adjustment and it works just fine

    Would these work on the front of a riding mower like a snapper?

    Great video and thanks for posting. I bought these to replace my old ones on my cart. I’ve now discovered that these hubs are wider than what I originally have on my cart. I don’t know if I should transplant the tires and tubes like you did it just buy a piece of 5/8” stock and make a wider axle to accommodate the new hubs. What are your thoughts?

    • @ghostses
      @ghostses  4 года назад +1

      Brad, I would transplant them like I did. Take care, G.

      ghostses thanks for the response. I ended up finding a piece of 5/8” steel from Lowe’s for about $10. After a cut and 3 holes drilled I swapped it all over. Either way would have worked I suppose. I’m going to keep the original wheels and axle just in case though. Keep up the great work!

    How are the tires holding up to date? 6-18-2024 after 4 1/2 years

      Quite well to be honest. I do have one with a slow tube leak that I keep airing up. Aside from that, I would still recommend them. Do your own homework and take care, G.

      Yes you can Brandon- you just need to find the right ones. Good luck, G.

    IF those are the same wheel/tires mounted on HF's two wheel trailer dolly, they'll crack and split right down the center of the tread during the winter, even if you don't use it often. Good dolly, baaaaaaad tires.

      I don't know for sure Gavin- but I wouldn't be comfortable using them for that application. G.

    Went to the guy I buy my car tires from today to see if he could replace my garden cart wheels $40 for the tires so I went to harbor freight got them for $11.99 on sale and had him put them on my rims because those rims wouldn't fit for me as well

      "Says the fix a 5/8 axle but will not go ony cart"
      Really Cindy?
      Did what you post make sense to you? It sure didn't to me.
      But yes, they should fit a 5/8" axle.
      Perhaps your measurement tool is off a bit.
