Awesome build nonetheless!

I need to like prime it, and then turn the key for it to start without grinding. Other than that, works fine. The clutch pedal needs lubrification too

In fact, all BMW age very well compare to a lot of “oldest” cars from over brands
Each to their own, but I would never change it in mine. I changed my standard entertainment unit to a new large touch display, mainly because I wanted apple car play, but man I really miss the look of the factory one. I even miss my cassette deck.
It’s well executed except for one thing I can’t get past. The screen is smaller than the original gauge cluster. It does not go as far to the left and right and it does not go all the way to the top. I understand there is a limit to fitting a rectangle into a round hole but it seriously detracts from the end result.
ID4Motion need to address the main issue and that is that you can't code or clear warning lights with their cluster, so if you have say an airbag light you have to put the factory cluster back in to clear the light, then re-install the digital cluster. That is a major oversight on their part. *EDIT* - nothing but crickets from ID4Motion and Vehicle Virals.
This is pretty awesome, but being a purist, I prefer the OG analog gauges. I totally understand there are folks who own E46's who wanna modernize their cars to current tech, but part of the experience of driving a 20yo car is still having analog gauges, a manual shifter, and hydraulic steering, all of which will be extinct by the end of the decade. The only thing I did to modernize my car is replace the crappy OEM Navi head unit for an Android unit with proper Bluetooth connection and much nicer touchscreen. I dig what these guys are doing and hope they can iron out the lag of the tach and speedo.
The only reason I would change my stock one for this one is just for the camera feature, planning to use a thermal with night vision camera in the front of the car, if it can work with that electrical dashboard
I got an e92 325i (2007) and in general no major issues except for a clicking noise under the car when shifting into second gear. And the minor ones like fabric coming off on the roof. I'm probably going to switch the entertainment system out for apple carplay though. I feel like that makes it feel like a whole new car as well
I love this, but it cannot be the car lagging data. It's gotta be the screen animations because otherwise the stock gauge would be laggy too. It's still quite amazing a car that old can be modernized like this, so easily.
I think the digital cluster looks great, the person who designed it deserves all the praise. Personally, I would never install one in an m3, I'd keep it original. I love the colour of the wrap, great job
It’s well executed except for one thing I can’t get past. The screen is smaller than the original gauge cluster. It does not go as far to the left and right and it does not go all the way to the top. I understand there is a limit to fitting a rectangle into a round hole but it seriously detracts from the end result.
Very nice , good job Man
Cool mod ✊🏾🔥
I’m personally a fan of the orange glow gage clusters by bmw, at night it jus feels better on my eyes my dad actually has one in his f32
This should be available in every car
Idk bro I kinda like it honestly, can’t go wrong with the classic OEM look but the digital gages look good and fit flush
The only reason I would change my stock one for this one is just for the camera feature, planning to use a thermal with night vision camera in the front of the car, if it can work with that electrical dashboard
I love the BMW gauges. I just got a ‘22 G80 M3 and the only thing I don’t like about it is that the gauges aren’t like the old ones.
dash display pretty clean install yo. nice work
I got an e92 325i (2007) and in general no major issues except for a clicking noise under the car when shifting into second gear. And the minor ones like fabric coming off on the roof. I'm probably going to switch the entertainment system out for apple carplay though. I feel like that makes it feel like a whole new car as well
Whoever designed this should be given a billion dollars by BMW. Congratulations to BMW for thinking 20 years ahead.
I love this, but it cannot be the car lagging data. It's gotta be the screen animations because otherwise the stock gauge would be laggy too. It's still quite amazing a car that old can be modernized like this, so easily.
I love the way S54b32 Sound. it's a Luxury Melodia. 😎👌
I love the color matte man! Great video as well
That is neat. I hope you remembered to add your turn signal indicator light to your cluster.
Very Nice Job done !
I think the digital cluster looks great, the person who designed it deserves all the praise.
Personally, I would never install one in an m3, I'd keep it original.
The only thing you can do to the M3 are wheels, exhaust and quality mods to the engine if you can afford it. Interior always stays in the original line.
This is beautiful 🔥
All of this cool as hell 💯👍🏾💪🏾
Super-wonderful upgrade LOVED!!!
This is sick!
If you want a modern look, go for some Kia or Hyundai. That's a profanation for me. The simplicity of the original BMW clocks is just perfect.
This car is just beautiful!
